  • In this study, we formed the 2-dimensional holographic grating in order to mamufactured 2-dimensional photonic crystal in amorphous $As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ and $Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ thin film which have the excellent optical sensetivity using by He-Ne laser(632.8nm). The intensity of incident beam was 2.5mW and incident angle that $2{\theta}$ is $20^{\circ}$. We formed the holographic grating after had formed the 1-dimansional holographic grating and then rotate the sample. We confirmed that 2-dimensional holographic grating result of the figure of diffracted beam and AFM(Atomic Forced Microcopy) image.

  • In this article, we review the study trends of three-dimensional (3D) displays that can display stereoscopic images from the perspective of a display device. 3D display technology can be divided into light field, holographic, and volume displays. Light field display is a display that can reproduce the intensity and direction of light or 'ray' in each pixel. It can display stereoscopic images with less information than a holographic display and does not require coherence of the light source. Therefore, it is expected that it will be commercialized before the holographic display. Meanwhile, the holographic display creates a stereoscopic image by completely reproducing the wavefront of an image using diffraction in terms of wave characteristics of light. This technology is considered to be able to obtain the most complete stereoscopic image, and the digital holographic display using a spatial light modulator (SLM) is expected to be the ultimate stereoscopic display. However, the digital holographic display still experiences the problem of a narrow viewing angle due to the finite pixel pitch of the SLM. Therefore, various attempts have been made at solving this problem. Volumetric display is a technology that directly creates a stereoscopic image by forming a spatial pixel, which is known as a volumetric pixel, in a physical space, and has a significant advantage in that it can easily solve the problem of the viewing angle. This technology has already been tested for commercial purposes by several leading companies. In this paper, we will examine recent research trends regarding these 3D displays and near-eye display that is emerging as a significant application field of these technologies.

  • Since heat curing acrylic resins undergo unavoidable dimensional changes following polymerization, adaptation can be altered. Until recently, although numerous studies on the dimensional changes of denture base were based on a microscopic technic that measures the relative displacement of a limited reference points on the denture base, but there have been few studies on the distortions of resins using holographic interferometry. Purpose of this study was to determine and compare the dimensional changes and fringe patterns of 4 heat curing acrylic resins, and observe the distortions of acrylic resin denture base by temperature change with the aid of the holographic interferometry. Holographic interferograms were taken on the resin specimens and acrylic resin denture base with the 10mW He-Ne laser and double exposure method. Comparison and analysis of fringe pattern on the recorded object surface was performed. The following results were obtained. 1. The dimensional changes for the high impact resin Lucitone 199 were statistically the greatest of all resins, and the rapid heat curing resin Premium super 20 were the least. 2. The most polymerization shrinkage of all materials occured in initial period of measurements, at this time the difference of polymerization shrinkage properties between resins was founded. 3. The stress distribution of specimens was seen by various type of fringe pattern which had directionality. 4. The polymerization shrinkage of resins was greatly influenced by temperature change. 5. The partial deformations of resin denture base were observed in 70 C and 90 C water.

  • We Have fabricated a holographic polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (HPDLC) thin film, which is composed of multifunctional acrylate monomer blended with the nematic liquid crystal mixture, and then investigated the real-time diffraction efficiencies for various amounts of liquid crystals and applied AC electric fields. It is experimentally shown that the holographic gratings recorded in the HPDLC film can be reversibly erased and reconstructed by switching on and off an appropriate applied AC electric field. By use of these electro-optic properties we have developed bifocal holographic lenses having two different focal lengths of 30cm and 40 cm.

  • The bit type holographic data storage is known to have many advantages in instrumentation for its compactness and simplicity, when compared to the 2-D page type holographic data storage. But it requires various multiplexing method for one bit hologram to achieve high storage densities. We propose an optical architecture for bit type holographic data storage which utilizes peristrophic and angular multiplexing simultaneously. Selectivity and characterization are analyzed for the proposed architecture. The possible number of multiplexing(72 bit holograms) and maximum storage densities calculation is confirmed experimentally.

  • In this paper, we proposed a pipeline system for holographic image production in a web server-based environment. There are time and spatial constraints for the existing holographic image production. The purpose of the proposed system is to obtain high-quality holographic images by reducing accessibility to users. It is a structure in which a video captured by a user in a web environment is transmitted to a server and converted into a frame for holographic image production through post-production. For high-quality holographic image acquisition, post-processing uses a deep learning-based algorithm. The proposed system provides various service tools in the web environment for user convenience. Through this method, the user's accessibility is improved when producing holographic images because images are taken in a web environment rather than in a limited space.
