Lead poisoning is one of the earliest identified and most known occupational disease. Its acute effects have been recognized from antiquity when this condition principally afflicted manual workers and slaves, actually scarcely considered by the medicine of that time. The Industrial Revolution caused an epidemic of metal intoxication, urging scientists and physician of that period to study and identify specific symptoms and organ alterations related to chronic lead poisoning. During the 20th century, the acknowledgment of occupational and environmental toxicity of lead fostered public awareness and legislation to protect health. More recently, the identification of sub-clinical effects have greatly modified the concept of lead poisoning and the approaches of medicine towards this condition. Nowadays, lead poisoning is rarely seen in developed countries, but it still represents a major environmental problem in certain areas. Consequently, it may appear as a paradigm of "occupational and environmental disease," and the history of this condition seems to parallel the historical development of modern "Occupational and Environmental Health" as a more complete medical discipline.
In this paper I have considered the subject related with 'the identity of Korean linguistics.' When I have pondered upon the subject I found that all the researches should not be regarded as a part of Korean linguistics only because they followed the scientific methodology. Moreover, it isn't right to accept any of the studies of Korean linguistics only because they relied on the tenet of western linguistic methodology. Although till 1960's various western linguistic methods were introduced to Korean scholars and applied to account for Korean language, abruptly, since 1970's, most theories have inclined to follow tendency of American linguistic trend. Pupils who want to study modem linguistic theories prefer to study at the universities of America rather than other countries in Europe. However, it is necessary to blow that the history of American linguistics isn't really as long as that of European nations and that the humanities has developed fur a long time since the Greek period. If we attempt to contemplate the procedure of the invention of Korean alphabetic system (Hun-Min-Jung-Um) it will be easy to find the fact that the theoretic approaches used to observe and analyze Korean language in 15th century are as good as the most up-to-date theories which have been introduced recently. Therefore, I tried to show that the historical awareness of linguistic theories deserves special emphasis in order to understand the reality of Korean linguistics correctly.
Postcolonial critics have criticized Comparative Literature for exclusively studying literatures from the non-Western world through Western lenses. In other words, postcolonial criticism asserts that theorists and practitioners of comparative literature have traced the "assistance" of the classic "comparison and contrast" approach to an imperialist discourse, which sustains the superiority of Western cultures and economies. As a countermeasure to reading through the comparative lens, literary theories have offered a "juxtapositional model of comparison" that connects texts across cultures, places, and times. This paper examines practices of Comparative Literature in Vietnam, revealing how the engagement with decolonizing processes leads to a knowledge production that is paradoxically colonial. The paper also analyses implementations of this model in reading select Vietnamese works and highlights how conventional comparisons, largely based on historical influences and reception, maintain the colonial mapping of World Literature, centralizing Western, and more particularly, English Literature and in the process marginalizing the others. Therefore, the practice of juxtaposing Vietnamese literary works with canonical works of the World Literature will provoke dialogues and raise awareness of hitherto marginalized works to an international readership. In this process, the paper considers the contemporary interest of Comparative Literature practice in trans- national, trans-regional, trans-historical, and trans-cultural perspectives.
All research methodologies have a certain research purpose and application range. Therefore, it cannot be conclusively said that some methodologies are superior. Each research methodology has only different research purposes and application ranges. The various theories and methodologies related to the study of Chinese dialect sounds have not been in a confrontational relationship with each other. But the need for analysis of new phenomena has led to the emergence of new methodologies and it has been deepening the depth of the study together, supplementing the theories of the past. The emergence of new theories and methodologies has not only always provided another means for dialect analysis methods, but has also deepened awareness of the changing rules of dialects, the interrelationships between rules and the causes of change. The Chinese dialect is richly embedded in various phenomena that can be seen in human languages. In analyzing the phenomenon of the Chinese dialect, we should first closely observe and judge whether it is the result of internal historical changes in the dialect itself or changes formed by contact or influence with the external dialect, and apply the analytical method accordingly. Sometimes there is a phenomenon formed by a number of complex factors, not one, that requires a comprehensive analysis that combines a variety of theories and methodologies.
In this paper it was observed that the influences of social environment that had been saturated by the modern awareness and west-ern culture effected largely on clothing. Also it was studied how and by what en-vironmental factors the costume during the enlightening period was accepted and devel-oped in Korea relative to social cultural en-vironment. In this research the emphasis was placed on the process of changing to western clothing especially the influence of Group Clothing on the general women's clothing. Therefore the types of group clothing and its influences were studied. in this study the types of group clothing recalled were modern women's clothing mission-ary women's clothing professional women's such as nurse uniforms school girls' uniforms and the invention of women's sports wear. And lastly it was searched for the direction of developent in apparels. From the above mentioned we can conclude that the clothing is inseparable from social and cultural Invironments and foreign affairs of politics at the time. Also it is considered that the types of group styles were the necessary happenings in the early stage of modern so-ciety. Because of historical situation in Korea the western clothing style had taken place in a short period of time. however Korean women's clothing which had been centerred around group clothing was considered to have changed from Korean traditional costume to western clothing by rational decisions of modern awareness in-stead of sudden change from traditional clothing to western clothing by indiscrete acceptance of western culture.

The following results could be obtained from the research on awareness and satisfaction of the tourists who joined the program 'A Journey in Search of King Mu's Road'. With regard to awareness of the site tour program, tourists replied that they participated in the program mainly because of their interest in education for their children. They expressed great needs for the municipal government office to maintain walkways, signboards and guide maps as well as to reinforce safety facilities as a measure to increase satisfaction with the site tour on the part of visitors and tourists. In terms of satisfaction with operation and management of the site tour program, the contents of the program were highly appreciated while it turned out necessary to rediscover garden culture resources and to develop and operate an expanded internal tour course for tourists to look around inside the relics by utilizing the recently excavated Baekje historical resources. As a consequence, it might be expected possible to experience and educate the local history and garden culture thanks to the historical culture and environmental values that have been preserved in the Baekje cultural circles. Moreover, the importance of walking trips will be recognized for its effects to allow those who get tired from daily life to come into contact with nature, practice self-reflection and care for their health as well.
This study begins with the awareness of problem that the education of mathematics teachers has failed to link the limit and the infinite set conceptually. Thus, this study analyzes the historical and reciprocal development of the limit and the infinite set, and discusses how to improve the education of these concepts and their relation based on the outcome of this analysis. The results of the study confirm that the infinite set is the historical tool of linking the limit and the real numbers. Also, the result shows that the premise of 'the component of the straight line is a point.' had the fundamental role in the construction of the real numbers as an arithmetical continuum and that the moral certainty of this premise would be obtained through a thought experiment using an infinite set. Based on these findings, several proposals have been made regarding the teacher education of awakening someone to the fact that 'the theoretical foundation of the limit is the real numbers, and it is required to introduce an infinite set for dealing with the real numbers.' in this study. In particular, by presenting one method of constructing the real numbers as an arithmetical continuum based on a thought experiment about the component of the straight line, this study opens up the possibility of an education that could get the limit values psychologically connected to the infinite set in overcoming the epistemological obstacle related to the continuum concept.
In fashion, there are various cultural aspects that exist in complexity, where according to the era, even fashion items newly develop and prevail into various designs in the organic function with reality of related cultural phenomenon and aesthetic aim. Among the fashion items, the shoe is historically considered as the shield from lust and also the provision of praise against the most emotional incitement. Mankind has started wearing shoes out of the functional purpose of protection since the ancient Egyptian times. Thereafter humankind has been creating shoes artistically in respect to shape, color, and quality of material, etc, as an expression of aesthetical awareness and introspective desire for beauty. As modern fashion increasingly regards the total fashion image much more important than each items consisting the whole outfit, the role of shoe became essential more than ever. Contrary to its relative importance, little academic attention was given to this area yet, while prestigious museums and galleries in Europe and the USA have held exhibitions of shoes in view of both historical and artistic aspects. This study aims to make a historical inquiry of western shoes. through which their aesthetic values can be drawn. Literature on this subject including aesthetics, history of costume and arts were referred. Fashion magazines and catalogues were investigated for additional information. The process and results of this study are meant to be a suggestion not only to further studies but also to artistic and creative shoe design. Originated for the functional purpose, shoes have evolved in various shapes with different meanings attached to it. When the technological development made the satisfaction for functional needs possible, the intrinsic attribute, the aesthetic value was pursued. The historical contemplations of shoes from Egyptian times to the 1990's led to the results that the intrinsic aesthetic value of shoes can be summarized as follows: 1) protection and extension of body, 2) need for decoration, 3) erotic expression, 4) symbol of dignity and class, 5) fashion.
It can be said that Italian designs are unrestrained, aesthetic and art for arts sake, and they come to stylize their character based on geographical features, racial traits and culture. The Italian architects work for the reconstruction of their devastated country and spare no pains to produce competitive goods on international markets since the second wend war. In spite of a inherent scarcity of resources, Italian furniture is the product of mixture of aesthetic material and new material with creative gifts. A lot of companies succeed in finding and training capable designers and devote themselves to modem furniture industry. As a result, Italy becomes one of the worlds most eminent furniture industrial countries now. And the fame is owed to Italy's national awareness of the importance of the matter and endeavor without sparing systematic support. This research is to find out which factors have an influence on the progress of furniture design in Italy and to analyze how these factors build up formative arts combining with historical background in Italy. Moreover, this research suggests how to make contributions to the cause of furniture design growth when considering our geographical features, racial characteristics, culture and industrial circumstances, by analyzing the process of development and strategy in Italian design industry.
Meantime there has been a tendency to keep silent about the role of Afro-Ibero America Diaspora which contributed to the spirit of independence and the realization of country foundation ideology in the official history of Latin America. In some countries, although the collective resistance of Afro-Ibero America Diaspora, which intended to establish a liberal and equal society resisting against slavery and colonization system, was the foundation of independence and the establishment of a new country, their contribution has been difficult to leave an official trace in Caucasian criollo-centered history system. Along with the development of Hcienda in 17th Century, black slaves' collective resistance was developed mainly with el Virreinato de la Nueva Granada, the center of the Independence movement of Brazil and South America. The black people who escaped resisting against slavery formed communities and developed organized activities through various politics and social activities. However, such communities were mostly dispersed or destroyed by the colonial power, and the collective resistance of Afro-Ibero America Diaspora lost life. On the other side, in case of Colombia, a community of escaped black slaves which was formed in the early 17th Century is solely remaining in Latin America, moreover, Afro-Ibero America Diaspora's struggle for liberty and equality became the foundation for Comuneros revolution and Independence movement in the late 18th Century. Comuneros revolution which occurred in 1781 awoke self-awareness of liberty and equality, and became an ideological base for independence movement based on revolutional republicanism and philosophy of enlightenment. It is considered that South America's independence movement lead by $Sim{\acute{o}}n$ Boívar was a history that could not have started without historical base of Afro-Ibero America Diaspora's resistance against colonization system. Therefore, this study intends to discuss the role and achievement of Afro-Ibero America Diaspora in the process of independence of Latin America mainly with Colombia, which is the center of Independence movement of South America. Through this process, this study intends to revaluate historical contribution of Afro-Ibero America which has been relatively neglected meanwhile in the process of independence and the establishment of country.
