비정신과 간호원의 정신질환 및 정신질환자에 대한 태도 조사 연구 (A Study of the Attitudes of Nonpsychiatric Registered Nurses towards Mental illness and Mental Patients)

  • The trend in modern nursing is toward the performance of comprehensive nursing care. Psychiatric nursing emphasizes education which enables the nurse to understand the underlying difficulties being expressed through a wide range of emotions and through practice to be more adept in her selection of a manner of approach which best meets the needs of a given situation. Presently, in Korea, there is nothing in the literature regarding evaluation of the effect of psychiatric nursing education on the attitudes of nurses towards mental illness and mentally ill patients. This stud!1 was attempted in order to understand 1) some of the problems in psychiatric nursing education 2) some of tile factors which affect the attitudes of nurses towards mental illness and mental patients. A questionnaire, a Korean translation of the "Opinions about Mental illness Scale" by Cohen and Stranding, 1962, was administered to 188 nonpsychiatric registered nurses employed in Yonsei University Hospital (Y. Hospital) and Seoul National University Hospital (S. Hospital) located in the city of Seoul. All of the nurses were directly involved with adult patient care. They graduated from various nursing schools. The data was collected during the period of October 2 to October 16,1972. The age, educational background , marital status, type of previous psychiatric experience, experience as a graduate nurse and close personal relationship with someone who was a psychiatric patient were compared with the O.M.I. scores. The mean and standard errors for each of the comparison groups were computed and tile relationships calculated by a t-test. The results of the study are summarized as follow: 1. There is no significant difference between the age of the nurses and their attitudes toward mental illness and mental patients. 2. There is no significant difference between the. educational backgrounds of the nurses and their attitudes toward mental illness and mental patients. 3. There is a significant difference in the nurses ′student psychiatric nursing experience and their attitudes towards mental illness and mental patients for the nurses in 5. Hospital only. The nurses who had 3-4 week of student psychiatric nursing experience had a significantly higher mean score for Benevolence (factor B) than nurses whose student psychiatric experience had been less than 1 Ivcek (P<0.05). The nurses who had 1-2 weeks, 3-4 weeks and more than 4 weeks of student psychiatric nursing experience had significantly higher mean scores for Interpersonal Ethology (factor E) than nurses whose student psychiatric had been less than 1 week (p<0.05), 4. There is a significant difference in the nurses′student psychiatric nursing experience by types of institution and their attitudes towards mental illness and mental patients for S. Hospital nurses only. The nurses who had their student psychiatric nursing experience in the government psychiatric hospitals recorded significantly higher mean score for Authoritarianism (factor A) than nurses who had their. experience in private psychiatric hospitals (p<0.05). 5. There is no significant difference in the nurses′psychiatric nursing experience as a graduate nurse and their attitudes toward mental illness and mental patients. 6. There is no significant difference in the nature and variety of the nurses′experience as a graduate nurse and their attitude toward mental illness and mental patients. 7. There is no significant difference in the presence or absence of a close personal relationship with a mentally ill person and the nurses′attitude toward mental illness and mental patients. 8. There is no significant difference in the nurses′ marital status and their attitude toward mental illness and mental patients. 9. There is no significant difference between the nurses who were employed ill S. and Y. hospitals and their attitudes towards mental illness and mental patients. Major suggestion for further study was to have more larger and wider scale research for establishing of the reliability and validity of the Korean translation of the O.H.I. Scale.

시설 노인들의 시간 사용이 일상생활 수행능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Time-use on the Elderly for Facilities in Activity of Daily Living)

  • 목적 : 시설노인들의 시간 사용이 일상생활 수행 능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 이를 시설노인의 작업 중재 기법으로 시간 관리 및 라이프스타일 재설계의 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 2008년 8월 11일부터 2008년 8월 22일까지 대전광역시에 소재한 S요양시설에 입소되어 있는 65세 이상의 노인 20명을 대상으로 인터뷰, 타임테이블, FIM을 사용하여 자료를 수집을 하였다. 결과 : 연구 대상자들의 일반적 특성과 일상생활수행능력에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 능동적 기본적 일상생활활동과 수단적 일상생활활동의 시간 사용이 많을수록 일상생활수행능력은 높았다(p<0.01). 능동적 여가의 시간 사용량이 많을수록 일상생활수행능력은 높았다(p<0.05). 결론 : 본 연구를 통해 대전지역 시설 노인들의 시간 사용량을 알 수 있었고, 시설 노인들의 시간 사용량이 일상생활수행능력과 관련이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 시설 노인들의 시간 사용량의 효율성을 높이기 위해서 작업치료사의 역할이 요구되며 시설 노인들이 보다 능동적이며 긍정적인 삶을 유지할 수 있는 중재 방안을 마련해야 할 것이다.

중년여성의 건강증진을 위한 단전호흡 운동프로그램의 적용 효과 (The Effect of the DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program Applied to Health Promotion in Women in Midlife)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program for health promotion and to examine the effects of a DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program on the physical and emotional health promotion of women in midlife. The design utilized for this study was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. This study was done between February 1 and July 4, 2000 and the subjects of the study were 40 women in midlife living in Seoul. There were 20 members in experimental group who participated in the DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program and 20 members in the control group who were chosen as matched to members of the experimental group according to age, education and religion. The DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program was carried out for 80 minutes a day, 3 times a week for 12 weeks. The percent of body fat, back strength, flexibility (trunk flexion), balance and vital capacity were measured using the Health Management System developed by the Korea Physical Science Institution. Blood tests were done at D infirmary for total cholesterol, and the atherogenic index was calculated using an established formula. The scores of anxiety and depression were measured by a questionnaire with 10 questions on anxiety and 13 questions on depression. It was developed from the Korean Manual of Symptoms-Checklist-90 revision. The collected data were processed using the SPSS PC program and analyzed using $\chi^2$-test and t-test. The result of this study are as follows : 1. The percent of body fat for the experimental group who participated in the DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program was lower than that of the control group. 2. The degree of back strength, flexibility (trunk flexion) and balance of the experimental group that participated in the DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program was higher than that of the control group. 3. The vital capacity of the experimental group that participated in the DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program was higher than that of the control group. 4. The total cholesterol level and atherogenic index of the experimental group that participated in the DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program were lower than those of the control group. 5. The scores for anxiety and depression in the experimental group that participated in the DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program were lower than those of the control group. In conclusion, DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program promotes the physical and emotional health of women in midlife. The DanJeon Breathing Exercise Program can be utilized as a nursing intervention for the promotion of health in women in midlife.

남성 제조업 근로자의 근무형태에 따른 건강 체력 평가기준 설정 (Establishment of standards for evaluation of health related fitness according to the working styles of male manufacturing workers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 남성 제조업 근로자의 근무형태에 따른 건강 체력 평가기준을 제시하는데 있다. 피험자는 K 기관에서 실시한 건강 체력검사를 받은 40, 50대 남성 제조업 근로자 15,329명이다. 건강 체력 요인은 심폐지구력, 근력, 근지구력, 유연성, 신체조성이다. 각각의 요인을 확인하기 위해 최대산소섭취량, 악력, 윗몸일으키기, 앉아 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기, 체지방률을 측정했다. 자료는 SPSS version 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 이원분산분석, T-검정, 일원 분산분석(Scheffe), 백분위 수로 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 제조업 근로자의 건강 체력은 근무형태에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타나(최대산소 섭취량 : F=88.67 (p<.001), 악력 : F=20.09(p<.001), 윗몸일으키기 : F=42.06(p<.001), 앉아 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기 : F=69.44(p<.001), 체지방률 : F=136.75(p<.001)) 건강 체력 항목의 백분위수를 토대로 평가 기준을 설정하였다. 둘째, 최대산소섭취량, 악력, 앉아 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기는 현장직 근로자의 평균값이 사무직 근로자의 평균값보다 모든 연령에서 높게 나타났다. 반면에 윗몸일으키기와 체지방률은 사무직 근로자의 평균값이 현장직 근로자의 평균값보다 모든 연령에서 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 이러한 평가 기준은 국민체력실태조사 기준치와 비교했을 때 많은 차이가 있었다. 따라서 근로자의 건강 체력 평가 시에는 근로자의 근무 형태에 따라 평가 기준을 다르게 적용해야 한다는 것이 확인되었다.

일부 전북지역 노인들의 일상생활동작능력과 수단적 일상생활동작능력 (Activities of Daily Living and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living of Elderlies in Chollabuk-Do Area)

  • 본 연구는 일부 전라북도 지역에 거주하는 노인을 대상으로 1999년 6월에서 12월까지 ADL, IADL의 정도와 이에 영향을 줄 수 있는 일반적 특성과의 관련성을 알아보고자 시도되었다. 조사대상 노인은 전체 281명이었고 이중 여자가 195명(69.6%)이었고 남자가 85명(30.4%)이었다. 남성과 여성의 평균연령은 70.8세와 71.9세 이었다. 질병유무에 있어서는 있다가 81.1%이었고 없다가 18.9%이었다. 질병의 유병률에 있어서는 운동 골관절질환은 50.1%, 기타가 15.0%, 순환기 질환이 10.5%, 소화기 질환이 9.4%, 치과질환이 8.5%, 호흡기 질환이 6.3%이었다. 최근에 이용한 의료기관에서는 병의원이 40.0%, 한방병의원이 16.8%, 보건소가 14.5% 약국이 10.9%, 기타가 10.0%, 치과의원이 7.8%이었다. 증상의 호전여부에 대해서는 보통이다가 62.3%, 호전되었다가 19.4%, 호전되지 않았다가 18.2%이었다. 건강상태에 있어서는 나쁘다가 37.1%, 좋다가 35.7%, 보통이다가 27.1%이었다. 일상생활동작능력(ADL)은 6점이 67.1%, 5점이 27.9%, 4점이 2.1%이었고 여성의 ADL이 남성보다 낮은 경향이 있었다. 수단적 일상생활동작능력(IADL)은 5점이 50.4%, 3점이 19.3% 4점이 12.1%이었고 여성의 IADL이 남성보다 낮은 경향이 있었다. 일상생활동작능력(ADL)에 있어 장해빈도가 높은 순으로 보면 실금 28.9%, 목욕 6.1%, 식사 2.9%, 집안 걸어다니기 2.5%, 화장실 1.8%, 옷 갈아입기 1.4%이었고 6항목 모두 남성보다 여성의 장해빈도가 높았다. 일상생활동작능력에서 고 ADL 67.1%, 중 ADL 32.5%, 저 ADL 0.4%로 연령의 증가에 따라 고 ADL은 감소하는 경향이 있었고 중 IADL은 증가하는 경향이 있었다. 수단적 일상생활동작능력(IADL)에 있어 장해빈도가 높은 순으로 보면 현금출납 42.9%, 청구서 지불(납부) 31.8%, 시장보기 21.1%, 식사준비 16.4%, 버스이용 11.8%이었다. 식사준비를 제외한 모든 항목에서 여성이 남성보다 IADL에 있어 장해빈도가 높았다. 수단적 일상생활동작능력에서 고 IADL 50.4%, 중 IADL 42.5%, 저 IADL 7.1%로 연령증가에 따라 고 IADL은 감소하는 경향이었고 중 IADL은 증가하는 경향이 있었다. 일반적 특성에 따른 ADL의 평균은 5.56이었고 학력과 건강상태가 통계학적으로 유의한 변수이었다. 일반적 특성에 따른 IADL의 평균은 3.76이었고 연령, 성별, 학력, 직업, 배우자 유무, 동거가족, 생활비 부담, 건강상태, ADL 분류가 통계학적으로 유의성있는 변수이었다. 단계적 중회귀분석결과 일상생활동작지수(ADL)와 종교, 건강상태 그리고 수단적 일상생활동작지수(IADL)와 교육수준, 동거가족, 생활비, 건강상태가 통계학적으로 관련성이 있는 설명변수이었다.

신규 일반음식점 영업자의 위생관리 지식 및 태도 (Knowledge and Attitude on the Restaurant-Related Sanitation of New Restaurateurs)

  • 식품위생에 관한 지식은 식중독의 예방여부, 냉동 냉장식품 보관법, 유통기한 경과 제품처리에 대해서는 조사대상의 87.9%-94.4% 정도가 정확히 알고 있었으나, 식중독의 원인 주요 예방법, 냉장고 보관온도에 대해서는 조사대상의 56.0%-63.0% 정도가 바르게 알고 있었다. 위생지식에 대한 정답률이 낮은 남성, 40대 이외의 연령층, 학력이 낮은, 종업원이 음식조리자인 경우에 대한 지속적인 위생교육이 필요 필요할 것으로 생각되고, 위생교육 미이수자가 위생지식에 대한 정답률이 높은 것으로 보아 교육내용 방법에 대한 개선이 필요하겠다. 위생수준 개선의 필요성에 대해서는 조사대상의 83.6%가, 건강진단의 필요성에 대해서는 조사대상의 78.6%가, 위생교육의 필요성에 대해서는 조사대상의 76.4%가 필요하다고 응답하였다. 위생수준이 미흡한 이유로 영업주의 위생의식이 미흡하여서가 조사대상의 71.6%로 가장 높았고, 개선해야 될 분야에는 업소시설 등 환경위생이 조사대상의 36.7%로 가장 높았다. 위생교육에서 가장 필요한 교육내용으로는 조사대상의 35.7%가 음식의 위생적 품질관리라고 하였고, 29.5%가 전반적인 식품위생의 개요라고 하였으며, 17.7%는 주변환경 및 주방시설의 위생적 취급이라고 응답하였다. 식품위생법 위반시 조사대상의 81.0%는 즉시 시정한다고 응답하였으며, 학력이 높을수록 즉시 시정하겠다는 응답이 많았다. 위생개선을 의해 행정기관에 바라는 점은 조사대상의 73.2%가 시설 및 운영자금지원을 지적하였고, 주기적인 위생교육이 19.3%, 위생공무원의 현지지도가 6.2%였다. 위생실천 실태에서는 위생복 착용률은 31.1%였으며, 조리시에 손을 씻지 않거나 그냥 물로만 씻는 경우가 각각 3.2%, 36.2%였고, 개인위생을 잘 준수한다는 43.7%로서 실천이 제대로 되지 않는 것으로 조사되었다. 이상의 결과로 미흡한 식품접객업소의 위생상태 개선을 위해서는 행정기관의 제도적 보완과 금융지원, 영업주의 직업에 대한 자긍심고취, 위생교육기관의 실효성 있는 위생교육프로그램의 개발 및 교육이 집중적으로 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

119구조·구급대에 대한 인식도 조사 연구 - 광주지역 보건계열과 비보건계열 대학생을 중심으로 - (A Study on Cognition about 119 Rescue·First Aid Team - Gwangju Area College Student as the Central Figure -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic materials for searching the way of improvement to heighten the emergency medical welfare level by one step further. To achieve this purpose, the subjects of this study were selected 452 college students in Gwangju, using a random sampling method. The statistical analysis methods utilized for analyzing the collected data are frequency analysis, $x^2$ test. The conclusions obtained from these analyses are as following ; 1. In question about necessary optimum number of persons for rescue first aid activity, health and non-health major college students responded by 39.2%, 45.3% respectively that rescue team 15 people, first aid team 3 people is most suitable. But there was no significant difference in major department(p<0.05). 2. In question about security of the public health doctor and the emergency medical technician, all health and non-health major college students are recognizing necessity urgently, but there was no significant difference in major department(p<0.05). 3. In question about 119 rescue first aid team member applying for an examination qualification grant to the department of EMT's graduate, all health and non-health major college students were highest by 52.9%, 52.4% respectively in "necessity" item. But there was no significant difference in major department(p<0.05). 4. Because rescue first aid equipment level appears higher than 41.7% in non-health major college student's case by 54.2% in health major college student's case, health major college students are recognizing that equipment level should be supplemented more but there was no significant difference in major department(p<0.05). 5. In question about equipment supplement, all health and non-health major college students appeared highest by 64.8%, 69.3% in accident type different special equipment. But there was no significant difference in major department(p<0.05). 6. In question about rescue ambulance car size, we could know being thinking that health and non-health major college student each 61.2%, 56.5% is small and narrow that large size of the rescue ambulance amount need. But there was no significant difference in major department(p<0.05). 7. In question about patient's state is worsened, because rescue first aid equipment is inferior, health major college student responded sometimes 55.1%, many 29.5%. very many by 11.5%, while non-health major college student responded 65.8%, 23.1%, 4.0% respectively. There was significant difference in major department(p<0.05). 8. In question about emergency patient must utilize for 119 rescue ambulance car, all health and non-health major college students appeared highest by 38.8%, 41.3% in "not so" item. In question about rescue first aid team's first-aid treatment ability improves more, all health and non-health major college students appeared highest by 58.1% and 58.7% respectively in "improve" item. In question about "119 rescue ambulance car must go more rapidly than now", all health and non-health major college students are recognizing that should be quicker by 58.1%, 60.9% respectively. When called to 119 all health and non-health major college students responded highest by 55.5%, 53.3% respectively that we must receive first-aid treatment direction from a doctor. In question about "119 rescue ambulance car must be made the pay system", all health and non-health major college students responded 74%, 80% respectively in "not so" item. There was significant difference in major department(p<0.05). In conclusions, In oder to provide superior rescue first aid service to people, a public health doctor should be placed in the situation room inside the fire station so that the doctor could instruct the proper emergency treatment suitable for each situation to the rescue first aid team. Also, national education about a first-aid treatment that do to all people is necessarily necessary in emergency delivery system and this should be spread extensively through school education and broadcasting medium and education should be gone side by side, and see that will can save emergency patients' life which is more when these education consists continuously fixed period for public institution of policeman, fire officer etc. specially. And for reinforcement of patient transfer system, public organization must procure special ambulance car so that emergency patient receive first aid treatment while transfer.

방사선안전규제 요건별 인식도 차이 (Differences between Each Requirement for Radiation Safety Regulation Levels)

  • 방사선안전을 수행하는 방사선안전관리자를 대상으로 실제적인 방사선안전규제 수준을 파악하여 합리적인 안전규제 제도를 마련하는데 필요한 근거자료를 도출함으로써 방사선안전규제의 효율성과 편의성을 극대화할 수 있는 차별화된 규제에 도움이 되고자 하였다. IAEA의 RS-G-1.9 (2005), NRC의 NUREG Vol. 1~21 등과 국내 원자력안전법의 내용을 근거로 전체 약 10%에 해당되는 방사선이용기관의 방사선안전관리자를 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 피폭관리에 대한 요건($3.32{\pm}0.910$)이 가장 높은 인식수준을 나타냈고, 관련 서류의 기록, 비치, 보관에 대한 요건($2.84{\pm}0.826$)은 가장 낮은 인식수준을 나타냈다. 방사선원 현황 및 관리 요건, 시설 요건, 측정 및 오염관리 요건, 측정 장비 및 감시기 작동 요건, 교육 및 훈련 요건, 피폭관리 요건에서 산업기관이 의료기관보다 규제가 더 엄격해야 한다는 인식수준을 나타냈다. 방사선안전규제 수준이 산업기관과 의료기관에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있다는 것은 규제관련 그 원인이 존재하는 것이므로 실제적인 규제내용을 재평가해 볼 필요가 있음을 시사한다. 향후 연구에서는 국내 기관특성별로 규제요건을 개발하는 과정이 이루어질 필요가 있고, 기관특성을 고려하여 방사선안전규제를 수행한다면 편의성을 극대화한 안전규제를 달성할 수 있을 것이라고 사료된다.

치과코디네이터의 근무환경과 직무중요도에 관한 조사연구 (A survey research on working environment and job importance in dental coordinator)

  • This study researched into literature materials in order to utilize basic data on job importance in dental coordinator, and analyzed questionnaire on job importance in dental coordinator for about 2 months from August and September in 2008 targeting dental hygienists and other manpower for dental hospitals & clinics where are located in D region and neighboring region. The following are the results: 1. Dental hospital & clinics where dental coordinators work were surveyed to be totally 66.9%. Dental coordinators were indicated to be 71.1% as for dental hospital$^{\circ}{\S}$clinic(women), and to be 28.4% as for a case with none. There was significant difference according to final academic degree and working place(P<.001). 2. License holders(women) for dental hygienist as dental coordinator accounted for 39.8%. The opposite case accounted for 60.2%. A case of doing duty of dental coordinator given not dental hygienist was indicated to be high. There was significant difference according to working place(p<.01). 3. The task importance on job that a dental coordinator directly performs was indicated to be averagely 3.24, thereby having been recognized to be important. 4. As for the recognition on job importance according to working-year number, it was indicated to have higher recognition on task importance in the more working-year number regarding customer management(p<.01), organization management(p<.05), and self-management(p<.01). 5. Given seeing difference in recognition on task importance according to medical institution, it was indicated to be 3.34 for dental clinic and 3.25 for dental hospital. Thus, the task importance was indicated to be slightly high in a person who works for dental clinic. There was no significant difference. In light of the above results, in order to educate dental coordinator who can successfully perform a role at dental hospital & clinic, a dental hygienist is required who is equipped with dental-clinic career rather than a person without a major. A professionally educational program for dental coordinator needs to be developed. Even in a dental coordinator's task, there is necessity for the curricular development and the specialized education.

  • The scientific paper studies the impact of tourism and traveling on the economic level of development of countries at the macro level and its relationship with other sectors of the economy. Tourism is one of the budget-forming factors of every economy. This work describes the main trends in the development of tourism. It is determined that about one third of tourism revenues are generated by the food sector, i.e., the culinary niche of tourism. Culinary tourism is a new direction of tourism, but it is developing quite dynamically in the EU. Culinary is an important part of rural tourism in the EU and culinary tourism is actively promoted at fairs and festivals. In recent years rural tourism has been developing both at the international level and in Ukraine, primarily due to its features, which include the implementation of the principles of sustainable community development, preservation of local traditions and cultural values, gastronomic events to promote them. The aim of the article is to study the theoretical aspects of the development of gastronomic tourism in the world, to analyze the actual condition of gastronomic tourism in the EU and Ukraine, identifying prospects and ways to develop regional gastronomic tourism. The methodological and informational basis of the work is analytical reports and researches related to the development of event tourism and statistics. Systematic and logistical approaches to the studied problems were used to achieve this goal. Various general scientific and special research methods were also used. Based on PESTLE analysis, key aspects of the external environment of gastronomic tourism in Ukraine are identified. We took into account the principles of sustainable development: political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental. The main trends in the development of gastronomic tourism in the world are studied and it is found that the greatest development in the coming years will be the trend of combining gastronomic and event tourism on the basis of sustainable development. The main preconditions and possibilities of introduction of this holistic approach to the strategy of development of the tourist branch of Ukraine are determined. A model of sustainable value chain of gastronomic tourism in the region is formed and the main advantages of its implementation are identified: formation of a regional brand, preservation of culinary traditions, development of green farming, minimization of negative impact on the environment, sustainable development of communities.
