Derived from the juxtapositional model of Comparative Literature, this article analyzes two movies, The Story of Pao (Chuyện của Pao, directed by Ngô Quang Hải) and Into the Wild (directed by Sean Penn), using eco-criticism and focusing on two specific aspects: looking for the relationship between "culture" and "nature" and questioning the ideology that puts people at the center of the natural world. Specifically, the article points out similar tones in discovering and praising the beauty of nature, and at the same time, focuses on explaining the "disagreement" and "harmony" in behaviors of different communities towards Mother Nature in these two films. Finally, The Story of Pao and Into the Wild are both read as discourses that participate in the repositioning of human beings in the natural world. The purpose of juxtaposition, therefore, is to seek a new existential dimension for the works, providing an opportunity to uncover and reveal hidden layers of meaning of each text.

The Chinese calligraphy art, which still adheres to tradition, has fallen into the formalism deeper and deeper. The majority of studies on calligraphy still focus on the formal beauty and neglect the core spirit hidden behind the calligraphy art. The calligraphy art is an art defined by words. This definition is not only reflected in the form of the characters but also, and more importantly, in the meaning of the characters. It is not a form of writing, but a writing of lives, wills and feelings, a writing of the experience of daily life, and an improvised poetic writing. With the advent of the age of artificial intelligence, the Chinese traditional calligraphy art, which still adheres to the "supremacy of the brush and ink", has shown a sense of dystopia, and its end is inevitable. Only by truly understanding the core of the calligraphy art, by integrating it with contemporary daily life, and by focusing on the communication of ideas in calligraphy, will it be possible to obtain a new life.

Automatic word spacing is a process of deciding correct boundaries between words in a sentence including spacing errors. It is very important to increase the readability and to communicate the accurate meaning of text to the reader. The previous statistical approaches for automatic word spacing do not consider the previous spacing state, and thus can not help estimating inaccurate probabilities. In this paper, we propose two statistical word spacing models which can solve the problem of the previous statistical approaches. The proposed models are based on the observation that the automatic word spacing is regarded as a classification problem such as the POS tagging. The models can consider broader context and estimate more accurate probabilities by generalizing hidden Markov models. We have experimented the proposed models under a wide range of experimental conditions in order to compare them with the current state of the art, and also provided detailed error analysis of our models. The experimental results show that the proposed models have a syllable-unit accuracy of 98.33% and Eojeol-unit precision of 93.06% by the evaluation method considering compound nouns.

This research tried to project hidden and overall side of market economy system of capitalism through desire and fetishism of consumer society. The objective of this research lies in examining desire code of capitalism society through hidden side of consumer society and the reason why modern people are crazy about products, the meaning of product re-creation in tempting modern consumer society, life where all desire is satisfied by products. As a result, we intended to demonstrate that post-industrial society is the one triggered by desire and that society desired in post-industrial society is the very cultural, social study realized to enable modern people to survive in modern society through Martin Parr's pictures.

There has been an increasing necessity of Semantic Web-based metadata that helps computers efficiently understand and manage an information increased with the growth of Internet. However, it seems inevitable to face some semantically ambiguous information when metadata is generated. Therefore, we need a solution to this problem. This paper proposes a new method for automated metadata generation with the help of a concept of class, in which some ambiguous words imbedded in information such as documents are semantically more related to others, by using probability model of consequent words. We considers ambiguities among defined concepts in ontology and uses the Hidden Markov Model to be aware of part of a named entity. First of all, we constrict a Markov Models a better understanding of the named entity of each class defined in ontology. Next, we generate the appropriate context from a text to understand the meaning of a semantically ambiguous word and solve the problem of ambiguities during generating metadata by searching the optimized the Markov Model corresponding to the sequence of words included in the context. We experiment with seven semantically ambiguous words that are extracted from computer science thesis. The experimental result demonstrates successful performance, the accuracy improved by about 18%, compared with SemTag, which has been known as an effective application for assigning a specific meaning to an ambiguous word based on its context.

This study analyzes the relationships between soft dollar(brokerage commission) and characteristics of funds, and between brokerage commission and return on funds, using the data on equity funds of Korea from June 2008 to November 2011. The result confirms a statistically significant negative relationship between management & sales fees and brokerage commission, meaning that rather than raising management & sales fees, which could be easily recognized by investors, it is through brokerage commission, a hidden cost, which asset management firms indirectly compensate for their services. Meanwhile, the analysis on the relationship between brokerage commission and return on funds reveals that higher brokerage commissions lead to lower return on funds, meaning at least in short-term no contribution to increasing returns in the future. These results suggest the need for streamlining the system to alleviate conflicts of interest between investors and management firms in addition to effectively controlling for principal-agent problems.

Purpose: This study was done to identify some natural meaning through the dosage experience of psychoactive drugs in women patients with schizophrenia. Methods: The Hermeneutic phenomenology written by van Manen was used. The period for data collection was from November 2009 to January 2010. This study took place in mental health hospitals and mental health centers in two cities in North Jeolla Province. Nine patients with schizophrenia participated. Data collection was done through individual in-depth interview. Results: The seven natural subjects demonstrated by participants from this study were 'Pills forcibly taken like veiled threats', 'A terrible side effect, a side effect rooted slowly', 'Shame which cannot be hidden as a woman', 'A bad medicine took away from motherhood', 'The fate of a wife who can't be equal', 'A struggle for the complete recovery without promise', and 'Participants want the future without medicine'. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the urgent need to develop a safe and believable psychoactive drug for woman patients considering the time of menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, and child raising.

When the study the costumes of Silla Dynasty, the only well-founded data is shown in the prohibition that is promulgated in the period of King Hungduk. In the prohibition, the social limitation according to the Silla Golpum system is closely described, now it is interesting researchers very much. Any times the promulgation of a ordinance has a proper reason. The ordinance of the period of King Hungduk also has no exceptions. It made a reason clear in the introduction - inaccordance with the social position, the list of articles is used with different, in spite of the strict regulation, the distinction of costumes was in disorder because of the trend of luxury and os we have to make right according to law. Some historian think that the prohibition assumes the character of an political innovation. The prohibition contains an social signification, the items of prohibition did not enumerate simply prohibiton items. Through away of research to analyze the hidden meaning contained in the prohibition, we can see the social phenomenon of Silla Dynasty. And compared with the type of clothing, the kinds of clothing mentioned in prohibiton have changed very much. I believe that we can find out political and social change in prohibition.

At the end of 1997, the volatility of the exchange rate intensified as the nation's exchange rate system was converted into a free-floating exchange rate system. As a result, managing the exchange rate is becoming a very important task, and the need for forecasting the exchange rate is growing. The exchange rate prediction model using the existing exchange rate prediction method, statistical technique, cannot find a nonlinear pattern of the time series variable, and it is difficult to analyze the time series with the variability cluster phenomenon. And as the number of variables to be analyzed increases, the number of parameters to be estimated increases, and it is not easy to interpret the meaning of the estimated coefficients. Accordingly, the exchange rate prediction model using artificial neural network, rather than statistical technique, is presented. Using DNN, which is the basis of deep learning among artificial neural networks, and LSTM, a recurrent neural network model, the number of hidden layers, neurons, and activation function changes of each model found the optimal exchange rate prediction model. The study found that although there were model differences, LSTM models performed better than DNN models and performed best when the activation function was Tanh.

A desire to lightness of architecture has continued from the past to today. As Paul Virilio mentioned "The aesthetics of disappearance starts from a desire", the desire of architecture to lightness assumes the connection to hidden dimension of everything over the freedom of materials when it is related to the aesthetics of disappearance. This study assumes that the lightness of an architecture today can be interpreted by means of the aesthetics of disappearance. The lightness of an architecture is a concept for the potential possibility of an architecture. Therefore, it is to analyze the relationship by connecting the features of the lightness which is obtained from the examples of the Cartier foundation of Jean Nouvel and Seattle central library of Rem Koolhaas to the aesthetics of disappearance, that is, the disappearance of the materials, disappearance of the subjects, disappearance of the meaning and disappearance of physical. Based on these, it is also to prove the influence of the aesthetic of disappearance on the architecture as a social phenomenon of technology today.
