플렉서블 타입 소결 브레이크 패드의 적용 연구 (Application of Flexible-Type Sintered Brake Pads)

  • Metallic sintered brake pads are often applied to mid/high speed train due to their high strength and thermal characteristics. Imbalance contact between discs and pads can greatly influence the life span, one sided wear, discs attack/crack and threat the safety of the train during operation. In this research, we analyzed pressure/temperature distribution between brake pads and disks. Analyzed data had been verified and modified to conduct further tests of flexible brake pads with small/full-scale dynamo test. Flexible brake pads were installed to high speed train to conduct further tests to identify the differences between rigid brake pads and flexible brake pads. In result, Flexible brake pads showed outstanding disk thermal stability, one sided wear, noise and wear rate than rigid brake pad.

  • 곡선통과 새마을호 열차의 주행안전성을 평가하기 위하여 다물체동력학 해석모델이 사용된다. 이 모델과 ADAMS/Rail 사용하여 탈선계수와 관련된 변수의 변화에 따른 민감도해석이 수행된다. 저속에서 우측차륜의 탈선계수와 윤중감소율이 좌측차륜보다 높으나, 고속의 경우는 좌측차륜이 우측차륜보다 높다. 곡선반경의 감소에 따라 탈선계수와 윤중감소율이 감소된다. 완화곡선의 길이가 증가하면 탈선계수는 증가하나 윤중감소율은 변화가 없다. 캔트가 증가하면 탈선계수와 윤중감소율이 증가한다.

국도 4차로 곡선부에서 주행속도의 특성 및 모형 (Characteristics and Modeling of Operating Speed at Horizontal Curves on Rural Four-Lane Highways)

  • 특정 설계속도 기준에 따라 도로의 선형 조건이 주어졌을 때, 설계자가 기대했던 것만큼의 속도로 운전자가 차량을 주행하는지는 도로의 안전성을 좌우하는 기본 틀을 형성한다. 본 연구는 국도 4차로 평면 단곡선부의 1차로를 공간적 범위로 설정하고, 진입부 직선도로∼곡선부도로∼진출부 직선도로로 구분하여 선행차량에 의해 영향을 받지 않는 승용차의 주행속도를 NC-97장비를 이용하여 조사하였다. 다양한 곡선부 기하조건 하에서 직선부 85백분위 주행속도(Vt)와 곡선부 85백분위 주행속도 (Vc) 특성을 분석한 결과, 곡선부에서 평균 S3∼65%정도의 많은 운전자들이 제한속도(80kph) 보다 평균14∼20kph 정도 높게 주행하고, 곡선부 85백분위 주행속도가 낮은 지점은 곡선반경이 작을 때는 곡선부 중앙(2L/4)이었으나 곡 선반경이 커지면 곡선부 L/4지점으로 이동(단, L=곡선장)하고, 곡선반경에 따른 직선부·곡선부 85백분위 주행속도 차이는 곡선반경이 작을수록 커지고 곡선반경이 클수록 작아진다는 연구 결과가 도출되었다. 또, 현장조사결과와 개발한 모형을 통하여 곡선부 주행속도에 영향을 미치는 중요한 인자로는 곡선반경과 직선부 85백분위 주행속도라는 연구결과가 도출되었다.

  • MPEG-2 Advanced Audio Coding(AAC) is widely used in the multi-channel audio compression standards. And it combines hi인-resolution filter bank prediction techniques, and Huffman coding algorithm to achieve the broadcast-quality audio level at very low data rates. The forward and inverse modified discrete transforms which are operated in the encoder and the decoder of the filter bank need many computations. In this paper, we propose suitable recursive structure at IMDCT processing for MPEG-2 AAC real-time decoder. We confirm the memory, the computation speed and complexity of the proposed structure.

레일 캔트 변화에 따른 주행특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Running Characteristic by Rail cant variation)

  • The rail cant produces a wider bearing area between the wheel and the rail by moving the wheel-rail contact area away from the gauge towards the centre of the railhead, thus improving the wear pattern of the railhead and wheel treads. It is essential to keep the rail cant within the allowable range to ensure optimum track geometry. Neglecting the rail cant geometrical parameters in a track quality evaluation can cause safety of railway vehicle and serviceability problems. In this paper, we examined the effect of the rail cant in general geometry state of the railway track using VI-Rail and analyzed running safety when the railway vehicle passing through curves depending on change of the rail cant and running speed.

  • The Light Rail Transit (LRT) System which has medium transport capacity between subway and bus(5,000-25,000 persons per hour) is the most advanced transportation system. It has many benefits, cheap construction, operational costs through driverless and flexible route planning. Also, the rubber tired AGT (K-AGT) of various LRT has a rubber wheels and side guide. The side guide type has an many advantages. but occur a vibration and friction noise through contact between guide rail and wheel. Most of point that decreased comport is vibration thorough the guide contact. In this paper, It is purpose to improve the maximum running speed of rubber tired AGT localization bogie which is currently developed from 70km/h to 80km/h. To satisfy comport index of railway vehicle that is required in performance test. we examined coefficient of bogie suspension which is designed.

  • Safety is soaring up as a core value in accordance with the recent improvement of operating speed & incidents. rolling stock is a kind of system which works together with several components. one component has an effect on the sub-system, which can cause to the train safety operation, therefore reliability management of the major components of rolling stock is a kind of solution to the safety operation of train, but realistically maintenance in korea performed based on period rather than TBO of major components, but Japan does new maintenance system based on the major components, which optimizes maintenance tasks. actually Japan can apply to new maintenance system because they are ready in planning step but in this study, making a reliability data of major components and review the adaptability of new maintenance system to the rolling stock operating in Ansan line.

  • The role of brake is safely to transport passenger & cargo and stop vehicles at emergency in railway vehicle. Brake system reduces the speed by control command of electricity or air. mechanical methods to perform brake are disk brake & tread brake. This study targeted development of highly efficient sintered alloy brake shoe in railway vehicle whose high frictional coefficient, wear resistance, compatibility of the existing tread brake shoe & minimization of wheel's thermal damage and performed development of friction material's formulation, analysis of pressure distribution in wheel tread & brake shoe, optimum form design through analysis of heat flow.

다수 로봇간 공간궤적 동기화를 위한 모션계획 알고리즘 (A Motion Planning Algorithm for Synchronizing Spatial Trajectories of Multi-Robots)

  • Recently the need for cooperative control among robots is increasing in a variety of industrial robot applications. Such a control framework enhances the efficiency of the real robotic assembly environment along with extending the robot application. In this paper, an ethernet-based cooperative control framework was proposed. The cooperative control of robots can multiply the handling capacity of robot system, and make it possible to implement jigless cooperation, due to realization of trajectory-synchronized movement between a master robot and slave robots. Coordinate transformation was used to relate among robots in a common coordinate. An optimized ethernet protocol of HiNet was developed to maximize the speed of communication and to minimize the error of synchronous movement. The proposed algorithm and optimization of network protocol was tested in several class of robots.
