제초제 사용과 잔유 (Use of Herbicides and the Residues)

  • 제초제는 현대 농업에서 필수적인 농자재이나 생리활성을 갖기에 비목적대상생물에 대한 위해성을 배제할 수 없다. 제초제의 문제점중 잔류문제는 가장 중요한 부분이며 그중 인간생활과 밀접한 관계를 갖는 토양, 농작물중의 잔류는 더욱 중요하다. 토양과 통작물중 제초제의 잔류유해성은 토양, 기상, 제초제의 사용 및 작물재배 등의 조건에 따라 현저히 변화되나, 현 시점에서 토양중 제초제의 잔류에 대한 문제점은 후작물에 대한 영향과 같은 국부적인 것을 제외하고는 거의 없으며 농작물중 난류 또한 큰 문제가 없는 것으로 사료된다. 그러나 국민건강, 토양생태계를 비롯 환경에 대한 더 높은 안전성 확보를 위하여 제초제에 대한 모니터링실험과 같은 잔류성 조사가 더 많이 요구되며 사용자는 안전사용기준을 준수해야 하겠으며 제초제개발측면에서는 보다 저독성 약제를 개발하는데 최선을 다해야 하겠다.

Euthidazole was not available for use in pasture establishment because of their long persist of toxic herbicide residues. A great stand redl~ction of subseq ~ ~ c n t oversown pastures was also observed In sodium chlorate treatment. However, normal vegetative stand and grass production was obtained, when thc pasture grasses seeded 45-60 days later herbicide treatments. Glyphosate did not affect subsequent oversown pasture species in both grasses and legumes. fistuccr arundinc~cea and Pou pratensis were the most tolerant pasture species to herbicide residue while 7'rzfi,lium pyatense and Medicugo suti~u showed a wsceptible response regardless of herbicide.

Effect of Herbicide Combinations on Bt-Maize Rhizobacterial Diversity

  • Reports of herbicide resistance events are proliferating worldwide, leading to new cultivation strategies using combinations of pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicides. We analyzed the impact during a one-year cultivation cycle of several herbicide combinations on the rhizobacterial community of glyphosate-tolerant Bt-maize and compared them to those of the untreated or glyphosate-treated soils. Samples were analyzed using pyrosequencing of the V6 hypervariable region of the 16S rRNA gene. The sequences obtained were subjected to taxonomic, taxonomy-independent, and phylogeny-based diversity studies, followed by a statistical analysis using principal components analysis and hierarchical clustering with jackknife statistical validation. The resilience of the microbial communities was analyzed by comparing their relative composition at the end of the cultivation cycle. The bacterial communites from soil subjected to a combined treatment with mesotrione plus s-metolachlor followed by glyphosate were not statistically different from those treated with glyphosate or the untreated ones. The use of acetochlor plus terbuthylazine followed by glyphosate, and the use of aclonifen plus isoxaflutole followed by mesotrione clearly affected the resilience of their corresponding bacterial communities. The treatment with pethoxamid followed by glyphosate resulted in an intermediate effect. The use of glyphosate alone seems to be the less aggressive one for bacterial communities. Should a combined treatment be needed, the combination of mesotrione and s-metolachlor shows the next best final resilience. Our results show the relevance of comparative rhizobacterial community studies when novel combined herbicide treatments are deemed necessary to control weed growth.

  • 제초제(除草劑)는 현대(現代) 농업(農業)에서 필수적인 농자재(農資材)이나 생리활성(生理活性)을 갖기에 비목적대상생물(非目的對象生物)에 대한 위해성(危害性)을 배제(排除)할 수 없다. 제초제(除草劑)의 문제점(問題點)중 잔류문제(殘留問題)는 가장 중요한 부분이며 그중 인간생활(人間生活)과 밀접한 관계(關係)를 갖는 토양(土壤), 농작물(農作物)중의 잔류(殘留)는 더욱 중요하다. 토양(土壤)과 농작물(農作物)중 제초제(除草劑)의 잔류분해성(殘留分解性)은 토양(土壤), 기상(氣象), 제초제(除草劑)의 사용(使用) 및 작물재배(作物栽培) 등의 조건(條件)에 따라 현저히 변화(變化)되나, 현(現) 시점(時點)에서 토양(土壤) 중 제초제(除草劑)의 잔류(殘留)에 대한 문제점(問題點)은 후작물(後作物)에 대한 영향(影響)과 같은 국부(局部)적인 것을 제외(除外)하고는 거의 없으며 농작물(農作物)중 잔류(殘留) 또한 큰 문제(問題)가 없는 것으로 사료(思料)된다. 그러나 국민건강(國民健康), 토양생태계(土壤生態系)를 비롯 환경(環境)에 대한 더 높은 안정성(安定性) 확보(確保)를 위하여 제초제(除草劑)에 대한 모니터링실험과 같은 잔류성(殘留性) 조사(調査)가 더 많이 요구(要求)되며 사용자(使用者)는 안전사용기준(安全使用基準)을 준수(遵守)해야 하겠으며 제초제개발측면(除草劑開發側面)에서는 보다 저독성(低毒性) 약제(藥劑)를 개발(開發)하는데 최선(最善)을 다해야 하겠다.

  • Adequate regrowth control of weeds and shrubs has been one of the important problem for pasture establishment by overseeding on reclaimed forest hilly land. This experiment was carried out on sloping shrub land near Anseong, Gyeonggido to evaluate the effects of herbicide application on growth control of native weeds, shrubs and trees. We evaluated 63 different weeds and wood species in the trials, which are grown common in korean forest. Buthidazol and 4 other herbicides (sodium chlorate, glyphosate, U-46 and gramoxone) were sprayed each at two application rates during the period of the most intensive growth, on 20 July 45 days before overseeding of pasture species. Glyphosate and sodium chlorate gave excellant control of growth of all species. However. Uncus effusus, Carex heterostachya, Polygonatum humile, Rubus corchorifolius, Lonicera coeralea and Rhododendron mucronulatum were classified as a tolerant weed and wood species to herbicides. Herbicide buthidazol showed also successive control of regrowth of weeds and wood species. But buthidazol was evaluated as a none available herbicide for use in pasture establishment. because o! their long persist of toxic herbicide residue in soils after treatments. Herbicide U-46 and gramoxone had almost no effect on regrowth of shrubs and tree species

제초제 저항성 잡초 강피, 물달개비, 올챙이고랭이 동시 우점한 논에서 효과적인 제초관리 (Effective Weed Control in Paddy Field Simultaneously Dominated by Herbicide-Resistant Weeds, Echinochloa oryzoicola, Monochoria vaginalis and Scirpus juncoides)

  • 본 실험은 ACCase 및 ALS 저해제들에 대한 저항성 강피와 sufonylurea (SU)계 제초제들에 대한 저항성 물달개비 및 올챙이고랭이가 동시에 우점한 논에서 이들 잡초들을 효과적으로 방제하는 방법을 구명하기 위하여 실시하였다. 인공기상실 실험에서 저항성 강피 0.5엽기까지는 이앙 전에 사용하는 oxadiazon 12% 유제, pyrazolate 36% 액상수화제, pretilachlor 14% 유제 그리고 thiobencar 50% 유제들이 완전하게 방제하였다. Fentrazamide 1% 입제와 mefenacet 18% 액상수화제는 저항성 강피 2엽기까지, 그리고 triafamone 0.98% 액상수화제는 4엽기까지 효과적으로 방제되었다. SU계 제초제들에 대한 저항성 물달개비와 올채이고랭이는 HPPD 저해제들인 benzobicyclon, mesotrione 그리고 tefuryltrione 액상수화제들이 효과적이었다. 한편, 제초제 저항성 강피, 물달개비 그리고 올챙이고랭이가 동시적으로 우점한 논에서 이앙 전 처리제들 중에서 benzobicyclon + oxadiargyl 유제가 가장 효가 좋았다. 그리고 올챙이고랭이가 동시적으로 우점한 논에서 이앙 후 12일에 처리한 제초제들 중에서 matazosulfuron입제가 이앙 후 60일까지 가장 효과적이었다.

제초제(除草劑)에 대한 식물(植物)의 저항성(抵抗性) (Resistance of Plants to Herbicide)

  • Changes in weed floras and development of plant resistance to herbicides seemed to be closely related with increased and repeated use of herbicides. Herbicide use increased from 5% of the total consumption of pesticide in 1950 to 45% in 1976 in world basis. About 200 herbicides have been introduced to agriculture so as to control about 206 weed species which have been recorded important to human beings. In Korea, there was about 351 times in increased use of herbicides from 1966 to 1982. Interspecific selection by herbicide is mainly responsible for changes in weed floras and resulted in varying tolerance or susceptibility to herbicides, together with the changes of agricultural practices. The present trend toward continuous cereal cultivation throughout world will lead to type of changes in weed floras favorable to therophyte which can survive under unfavorable conditions as seeds rather than the types of geophyte which can survive unfavorable seasons as buds placed below soil surface. However, geophyte such as Sagitaria pygmaea, and Scirpus jurtcoides, and Cyperus rotundus and Cynodon dactylon in temperate warm climate become severe paddy weeds, presumably because of the removal of annual weeds by herbicides. Since differential tolerance to 2,4-D was firstly reported in Agrostis stolofera, about 30 species of weeds in 18 genera are presently known to have developed resistance to triazine herbicides. Resistance of weed biotypes to triazine herbicide is not mainly due to limited absorption and translocation or to the difference in metabolism, but is the result of biochemical changes at the site of metabolic activity, such as a loss of herbicide affinity for triazine binding site in the photosystem II complex of the chloroplast membrane. Genetical study showed that plastid resistance to triazine was wholly inherited through cytoplasmic DNA in the case of Brassica campestris. Plant tissue culture method can be utilized as an alternate mean of herbicide screening and development of resistance variants to herbicides as suggested by Chaleff and Parsons. In this purpose, one should be certain that the primary target process is operational in cell culture. Further, there are a variety of obstacles in doing this type of research, particularly development of resistance source and it's regeneration because cultured cells and whole plants represent different developmental state.

전북지역 제초제 저항성 논 잡초 발생분포 및 제초제 사용실태 (Fact-Finding Survey of Herbicide Use at Farmer's Level and Distribution of Herbicide Resistant Weeds in Paddy Field of Jeonbuk Province, Korea)

  • 전라북도 지역 논에서 발생되고 있는 저항성잡초와 문제 잡초의 발생 모니터링을 통하여 효율적인 논 잡초 방제기술을 확립하기 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 시험을 수행하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 전북지역 논에서의 잡초 발생 분포와 재배농가들이 선호하는 제초제 등을 설문조사한 결과, 우점초종은 피, 올방개, 올챙이고랭이, 물달개비 등이었으며 재배농가들이 선호하는 제초제는 초 중기처리 제초제(48.0%)>이앙전처리 제초제(36.7%)>경엽처리 제초제(15.3%) 순이었다. 논 토양조사에 의해 전북지역 제초제 저항성잡초 발생정도를 조사한 결과, 제초제 저항성잡초 발생면적은 총 재배면적의 18.4%인 24,413 ha 였으며 발생 초종은 4초종으로 올챙이고랭이(39.0%)>물달개비(27.8%)>강피(16.6%), 알방동사니(16.6%) 순으로 발생비율이 높았다. 이러한 정보를 이용하여 전북지역의 제초제 저항성잡초 발생을 예측하고 이에 맞는 제초제 저항성잡초 관리 방안을 수립할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Two-Dimensional Ordination 분석법에 의한 제초제살초 Spectrum 분류와 효과적인 사용법 (A New Approach for Practical Classification of Herbicide and for Effective Use by Two-dimensional Ordination Analysis)

  • In general, herbicides have been classified according to selectivity, mobility. time of application, methods of application, mode of action and chemical property and structure. However, there was no generally accepted classification system for practical use in the field. The primary processes affected by the majority of herbicides are the growth process through cell elongation and/or cell division, the photosynthetic process specifically the light reaction, the oxidative phosphorylation and the integrity of the membrane systems. The usual approach in the study of the mechanism by which herbicides kill or inhibit the growth of plants is to initially determine the morphological phototoxicity systems, The mechanism by which a herbicide kills a plant or suppresses its development is actually the resultant effect of primary and secondary(or side) effects. In most instances, the death of the plant is due to the secondary effects. To induce the desired response, a herbicide must be able to gain entry into the plants and once inside, to be transported within the plant to its site(s) of activity in concentrations great enough. Obstacles to the entry and movement of herbicides in plants are generally classified by leaf and soil obstacles, translocation obstacles and biochemical obstacles, and these obstacles are also strongly influenced by plant species and by environmental factors such as light, temperature, rainfall and relative humidity. And hence, in most instances, results obtained from laboratory or greenhous vary from those of field experiment. Author attempted to classify herbicides from the field experiment using the two-dimensional ordination analysis to obtain practical information for selecting effective herbicides or to choose effective herbicide combinations for increasing herbicidal efficacy or reducing the chemical cost. Based on this two-dimensional diagram, desired herbicides or combinations were selected and further investigated for the interaction effects whether these combinations are synergistic, additive or antagonistic. From the results, it was concluded that these new approach could possibly be give more comprehensive informations about effective use of herbicide than any other systems.
