The Purpose of this study is to give the hydrologically basic data for the development of water resources in Korea and a quantity of daily average precipitation and its frequency in a year are investigated to study the presumption which is affected to river flow. Characteristics of precipitation is poor as source of water resources compared with its efficiency. So, because of such characteristics of precipitation, river flow also is in harmony and distribution of river flow comes to the result of irregularity, that is, range of river coefficiet between the quantity of maximum river flow and others river flow is big, and it is insufficient as source of water resources. Yearly river flow being expressed by daily unit indicates the ratio(%) of distribution to total yearly river flow, and the model of hydrograph is drawn up. The gives the basis to make yearly water balance sheet. This study is not completed, yet but in forth-coming days, the water will try continuously to give more correct basis for the development of water resources according to a great deal of data.

"Saikdong" is a material that represents the Korean aesthetic behavioral pattern of colors. It shows the unique harmony of the color combination with the use of simple combined colors. The objective of this paper is two-folded. First, it is to explore the direction of Korean Design. Secondly, it is to find out aesthetic charateristics and consciousness in Saikdong. 17 traditional costumes made with the designs of Saikdong were selected from three museums in Seoul. The most properly matched color hues selected after comparing each color with the Pantone Textile Color Specifier. The results were shown as follows. 1. Korean design is to recreate the traditional objects considering the contemporary circumstances. 2. Contrast effects in lightness and saturation are very noticeable in Saikdong. Saikdong maintains the same widths of color stripes with the asymmetric balance of hues which give the rhythmical arrangement of colors. 3. Sikdong contains the shamanic wishes that everything is going well and the desire for the beauty. 4. The aesthetic consciousness of Saikdong has turned out to be happiness and harmonizing.rmonizing.

The creation of clothing is a form of aesthetic expression through which feelings and ideas are conveyed. This study tried to find out the mental world and aesthetic consciousness of Ancient Egypt through the costume of the period. The beauty of human body was esteemed and expressed in body exposure, tight costumes and transparent fabrics. Through the silhouette of costume, wig and accessories, the beauty of simplicity was expressed. And the beauty of harmony was sought through the beauty of balance and emphasis. The aesthetic consciousness of Ancient Egypt is the refined elegance and it was composed on the basis of the ideas of nature worship and had been preserved by the spirit of traditionism for about 3, 000 years.

Culture is way of life. And a culture is based on the view of nature and humun being. Korea has many kinds of tradition. Out of them, Korean character Hangul, food and medicine have been succeeded as they were in old days. So I tried to induce Korean view of nature and human being from those traditions. The common principle induced from them is Yin-yang and five elements. Yin-yang and five elements is away to cognize nature by Korean people. That means Yin-yang is thought to be the principle of nature. Nature is what life is born or produced. And mankind is a part of nature. Thus Yin-yang and five elements works on mankind in the same way as they do on nature. Mankind is born and grows on the earth. So human body consists of four, parts of the earth, which are light, air, water and soil. It is essential for human being to maintain balance and harmony in nature with nature and as nature.

Esthetic is one of the prime goal of the orthodontic treatment. It is represented by the word of harmony or balance. There is no absolute esthetic norm but it is important to study about it in orthodontic and orthognatic surgical treatment planning. The purpose of this study is to obtain the norm of Korean female adolescents who were candidates of 1986, 1987 Miss Korea Beauty Contest. The 77 individual samples were selected and studied by cephalometric analysis. Obtained results were as follows: 1 Korean esthetic norm was obtained. 2. Simple correlation coefficient was obtained between each measurements. 3. Holdaway ratio of Korean beauty was 3.3 : 1. 4. To compare with caucasian, profile of Korean beauty had less prominant nose, more prominant lip and deeper sulcus depth.

Health has occupied a position of importance in the human history, whether it be in the East or in the West, and it is a subject in which people have been constantly interested. The concept of health has changed continuously as the society has developed, industrialized and become more structured. The perception of health concept can be an esential factor which is to determine the health behaviors. This study is a descriptive inquiry done to identity high school students' perception of health and what they do as health behaviors. The subject consisted of 503 voctional high school seniors, 129 boys and 374 girls, from a school located in An-san Si, kyong-gi Do. The instruments used for this study were open-ended questionnaires and data were collected by having the students fill out the questionnaires which took 10 minutes, in their first class, April 6, 1995. The collected materials were classified and recorded on the cards according to each question using the terms which students had written. After putting statements which had common meanings together, the representative categories were labelled. The results obtained are as follows. 1. Categorizing and labelling of health concepts What high school students descripted as health concepts were classified as the absence of illness, physical comfort, strong physical strength and physique, not having a deformity, resisting power, self control mental-rest(or psychological comfort), wholesome ideas, self-control, harmony in body and in mind, maintenace of daily life, pleasant life, good friends, peaceful family life and realizing objectives. 2. Categorizing and labelling of health behaviors These were classified as preventive life, good dietary habits and regimen, maintenance of clean body, exercises, preventing obesity, rest, environmental balance or control of environment, limit one's tastes, making use of leisure, peaceful mind, sound thought and regular living habits. The result indicates that the health concepts were positive and included not only absence of illness but also harmony in body and in mind and pleasant life; health behaviors which had high frequency were good dietary habits and regimen, exercises and sound thought. It is hoped that these findings well serve as practical references for teachers when they counsel with, and provide the students with guidance programs which include health care.

In the modern society that is advancing rapidly, the hair art is also advancing and subdividing. The purpose of this study is to investigate unique field of formative as characteristics and forms of copper wire, focused on such a harmony of hair art, the present thesis aims at developing concept of hair art as a creative way, and recognizing the formative characteristics of copper wire as analyze and arrange the concept of hair art, formative, a way of practical application, material aspect, through literature, academic journals, photo data, and researched about prior piece, for example, architecture and costume with hair art, and then pieces of hair art were made. Influenced by the theory, applied the social phenomenon and the formative principles, produced the five pieces which includes balance, composure, flying, harmony, way, spring etc. The results of this research are outlined below. Firstly, It showed that the copper wire can express the mysterious and beautiful formative world, and it could know the possibility of design. Secondly, formative activity using copper wire can differ according to approach and interpretation, and it can be a works with aesthetic value. Thirdly, hair could be express the art of the three-dimensional forms which constitute the mixture of line, surface and space. So, hair art has enlarged the fields with development of technique, and changed to recognition of the hair art, and opened up a new field. Hair art will be positive fields to maximize the possibility, and not only the beauty artist but also the public will be communicate each other.
