The purpose of this study is to find an expression method for Korean fashion design that can have competitiveness in the global fashion market. For this, fashion specialists at home and abroad were interviewed, focusing on their opinions on the Korean motifs outlined in existing literature studies. First, aesthetic sense and expression characteristics that have appeared in existing studies on Korean art, Korean traditional costume, and Korean fashion were explored. As a result, they were categorized into: Modesty/plainness, freewheelingness, religion/custom, and humor/joke. During this process, Korean design motifs were extracted based on the aesthetic characteristic and expression method of aesthetic sense. According to the opinions on Korean design motifs and Korean fashion design works drawn from the interviews with fashion specialists at home and abroad, Changhomun was the favorite design motif to be utilized in Korean fashion design. The Korean specialists thought that visual design motifs were important, while the overseas specialists had more interest in abstract design motifs, which embody the background and story behind the motif. Regarding the fashion design associated with the Korean design motif, all specialists at home and abroad favored the design using ceramics and wrapping cloth. Regarding the choice of fashion image, Korean specialists chose the design utilizing Hangeul as the most Korean, while the foreign specialists chose designs reflecting the design motifs of Hangeul and Hanbok for women. The Korean specialists chose relatively more Korean images, while the foreign specialists chose more eastern images or other images than Korean images.

최근 초고속 인터넷과 대용량 데이터베이스 기술의 발전으로 웹 문서의 양이 크게 증가하였으며, 이를 효과적으로 관리하기 위하여 문서의 주제별 자동 분류가 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한글 형태소 및 키워드 분석에 기초한 문서 특성 추출 방법을 제안하고, 이를 이용하여 웹 문서와 같은 비구조적 문서의 주제를 예측하여 문서를 자동으로 분류하는 방법을 제시한다. 먼저, 문서 특성 추출을 위하여 한글 형태소 분석기를 사용하여 용어를 선별하고, 각 용어의 빈도와 주제 분별력을 기초로 주제 분별 용어인 키워드 집합을 생성한 후, 각 키워드에 대하여 주제 분별력에 따라 점수화한다. 다음으로, 추출된 문서 특성을 기초로 상용 소프트웨어를 사용하여 의사 결정 트리, 신경망 및 SVM의 세 가지 분류 모델을 생성하였다. 실험 결과, 제안한 특성 추출 방법을 이용한 문서 분류는 의사 결정 트리 모델의 경우 평균 Precision 0.90 및 Recall 0.84 로 상당한 정도의 분류 성능을 보여 주었다.

The study was focused on surveying the cultural identity and the origin of T-shirts, and examining their functions. Six cities were selected to categorize the design motifs of cultural identity appearing in the design of contemporary T-shirts. These cities include a city in France, United Kingdom, Italy, United States and Japan where collections are currently presented at, and also a city in China that has shown a high economic growth as one of the most popular sightseeing cities. Cultural identity was presented in the T-shirts that were examined in this study through diversified design motifs. Motifs used in T-shirt designs to reflect cultural identity included national flags, notable places, letters, names of geographic places, and individuals. A national flag is a motif that signifies national identity and it was used in the front of T-shirts as it is or was just partially used. Also, many world-renowned structures or architectural buildings were applied to T-shirt design. Noted places such as the White House, the Statue of Liberty in the U.S., Tienanmen Square in China and the Eiffel Tower in France were used. The unique characters of language, such as Hangeul in Korea were used as design elements to reflect the structural characteristics of letters. Names of geographic places were used as design elements through the disclosure of the name of a symbolic city or a tourist site in each country. In terms of figures, not only the historical figures or celebrities from each country were used, but the image of bodies and faces that represent each culture were used as well. In addition, this study was used to develop T-shirt designs that reveal the cultural identity of Korea.

국립중앙박물관 소장 금속활자는 약 50만자로 앞서 연구된 조선 금속활자에 기초해 갑인자(甲寅字)활자 33점, 을해자(乙亥字)병용한글활자 29점 등 조선 전기 금속활자 62점의 형태 조사, 비중을 측정하고 조성성분을 바탕으로 통계분석하였다. 갑인자활자 33점, 을해자병용한글활자 24점은 2성분계 청동(구리-주석)([A]그룹), 을해자병용 한글활자 5점 중 4점은 3성분계 청동(구리-주석-납)([B]그룹) 1점은 2성분계 청동(구리-주석)([C]그룹)으로 주석 함량이 높다. 본 연구에서 다수의 활자 성분 통계분석을 토대로 조선 후기 임진자(壬辰字)활자와 비교한 결과, 후기 활자는 구리 함량이 낮고 아연, 납 함량이 높은 특징이 있어 조선 전기와 후기 활자의 분류 가능성을 확인하였다.

국립한글박물관에서 소장하고 있는 언더우드 영문 타자기(한기6863)의 보존처리를 실시하였다. 근·현대 시대에 제작된 타자기는 부품의 유실, 부식, 도료의 탈락 등의 손상양상을 보였으며, 복합재질로 이루어져 재질에 따른 보존처리를 진행하기 위해 처리 전 상태조사 및 과학적 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 금속, 도료, 고무 등으로 타자기가 제작되었음을 확인하였고, 보존처리는 각 재질이 안정한 조건에서 '이물질 제거 → 강화처리 → 복원' 순으로 진행하였다. 손상이 심한 도료층을 강화처리하고 유실된 다리받침을 복원하여 안정한 상태로 보존처리를 완료하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 근대시기 초반에 제작된 타자기의 재료 및 특징을 파악할 수 있었으며 추후에 진행될 타자기 보존연구에 기초 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

소니컴퓨터엔터테인먼트의 플레이스테이션(R)이나 마이크로소프트의 엑스박스(R)등의 비디오 게임기가 차지하고 있는 시장의 크기가 점점 커지고 있고, 이에 적용되는 기술도 점점 발전하고 있다. 최근에는 무선랜이나 블루투스 등의 기술을 통한 네트워크 연결을 통해 인터넷 접속이 가능해졌고, 간단한 문서 편집이나 개인 정보 관리 기능도 추가되었다. 이러한 기능들이 추가되면서 비디오 게임기에 문자를 입력하는 방법의 필요성이 일어나고 있다. 하지만 비디오 게임기의 기본 입력 장치인 아날로그 스틱을 이용하여 한국어를 입력하는 방법에 대한 연구는 부족한 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 한글의 창제원리를 이용하여 자음과 모음을 각각 아래쪽, 위쪽, 왼쪽, 오른쪽의 네 가지 기본 그룹으로 분류하고, 시계 방향 회전과 반시계 방향 회전을 이용해서 자모를 매핑하는 새로운 한국어 입력 방법인 ASK-HIM을 제안한다. ASK-HIM 은 화면 키보드와 비교를 하였을 때 좀 더 좋은 결과를 보여주었고, 단순한 방식으로 사용이 편리하다는 장점을 지니고 있다.

For a rule-based conversion of Hangout into the Roman alphabet rather than a word-for-word conversion, one must come up with a faultless model for the Korean standard pronunciation rules, which are the basis of the Romanization. It is on this foundation that the Korean-Roman alphabet conversion table can be created. For linguistic modeling using PetriNet, modeling boundary and notation of modeling can be defined. In order to describe PetriNet, which is a dynamic modeling tool, as a static one, one can model the standard Korean pronunciation rules and the Hangout-Roman alphabet notation by conversion into incident matrix Thus, this research attempts to develop a mathematical modeling tool for a natural language using PetriNet, and create a Korean-Roman alphabet conversion table.

In this paper, a variable length block code for real time compression and decompression of hanguel and chinese character bit map font is proposed. The proposed code shows a good compression ratio in complete form of hangeul myoungjo and godik style and chinese batang and doddum style bit map font. Besides, a compression and decompression ASIC is designed and simulated on CAD. The 0.8 micron CMOS sea of gate is used to implement the ASIC in amount of 5,200 gates, and it runs at simple hardware and compress and decompress at 33M bit/sec at maximum, which is ideal for real time applications.

현재 우리나라의 표준 자판은 두벌식이며, 한글 입력기에 대한 연구도 두벌식을 중심으로 되어 왔다. 물론 세벌식도 있지만 널리 보급되지 못한 상태이며, 연구를 한다고 해도 글쇠배열 쪽으로 편향해 있지, 세벌식 구조자체에 대한 평가와 연구가 제대로 이루어지지 못한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 <날개셋> 한글 입력기라는 새로운 입력기를 개발하여, 세벌식 글쇠배열을 응용한 효율적인 한글 입력 방식을 제안한다. 기존 연구들이 한국어와 한글 맞춤법의 특성을 살린 것이거나 세벌식과 두벌식을 절충하는 것이라면, 본 연구는 세벌식 자체의 장점을 살려 입력기의 내부 기능을 향상시켰다. 그래서 세벌식의 당위성을 단순한 글쇠 배열 차원의 능률이 아닌, 구조적이고 원천적인 관점에서 역설했다. 이들 고급 기능들은 초/중/종성을 순서 없이 쳐도 조합이 성립될 수 있는 세벌식 모아치기 원리에 근거를 두고 있다.

본 논문용 preview 기능을 갖는 한글 전자출판 시스템에 관한 것이다. 논리구조와 레이아웃 구조로 구조화된 문서를 작성 할 수 있는 문서작성 전용 에디터를 설계하였다. 이는 문서내용의 논리적 특성에 맞게 문서를 작성할 수 있는 내용 중심의 문서작성 에디터로, high level 적으로 문서를 만들 수 있게 한다. 아울러 문서내에서 context sensitive 한 성질을 갖는 그림 및 도표의 영역은 시스템이 자동으로 할당하도록 하는 알고리즘을 구현하였다. 이렇게 자동 할당된 그림 및 도표의 위치와 크기를 페이지 단위로 이동, 조정 할 수 있게 하므로서 이에 따른 텍스트도 적응적으로 처리되게 하였다. 또한 레이아웃 처리된 출력결과를 하드카피 하기 전에 디스플레이상에서 확인할 수 있는 preview 기능을 설계하였다. 본 시스템은 크게 압력부, 레이아웃 처리부, preview부, 출력부로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 압력부와 레이아웃 처리부, preview부에 중점을 두어 설명하고 처리된 문서의 출력 결과를 보인다.
