Many depth estimation techniques for magnetic exploration, such as the slope methods, graphica1 methods, spectral analysis, and Fourier ana1ysis have been published. Nevertheless, it appears that the half-slope method of Peters(1949)and the maximum-slop method of Vacquier et. al. (1951)are more popular and widely used by geophysicists in the hydrocarbon exploration industry. The slope methods are not only simpler and easier to use but are also genera1ly reliable. The spectral method is fast, effective, and powerful in the determination of an average depth. The often unreliable results produced from spectral techniques are attributed to their application to isolated magnetic anomaly cases. The reliability and limitations associated with the method are given in order to minimize problems and increase accuracy in the application of the method.

This paper presents design, fabrication, and performance evaluation of a high voltage power supply for Carbon Nano Tube-based planar light sources. The proposed power supply employs an LLC resonant half-bridge converter and a sixfold voltage-multiplying rectifier. Steady-state characteristics of the voltage-multiplying rectifier are analyzed and used to derive the input-to-output voltage conversion ratio of the power supply. The input-to-output frequency response characteristics of the LLC tank circuit are analyzed and utilized in designing a proto-type power supply which produces a 15 KV output using a 400 V input source. The high-voltage transformer is fabricated using a sectional bobbin structure with an epoxy impregnation, in order to provide sufficient insulation for high voltage operations. The performance of the proposed power supply is confirmed with stable and reliable operations at the 15 KV output from no load to nominal load conditions. The proposed power supply is well suited as an electric ballast required stable operations of Carbon Nano Tube-based planar light sources.
The resonant converters cause the high voltage stress according to the input voltage, which increases the conduction loss in converter power switches. The topology of LLC half bridge resonant converter provides ZVS characteristic and also the stress of voltage and current is smaller than that of the general resonant converters. So we can expect the higher efficiency. In this paper, the LLC resonant converter is designed for slim adapter. In the adapter design, we should consider the weight, the size and overheat of the adapter. Thus the optimal design of transformer is the most important facts. Some parameters should be considered in order to get the highest efficiency. The LLC resonant converter input is 390VDC Link voltage of PFC and the output has 16VDC/90W ratings. The efficiency measured is about up to 93%.
The horizontal distributions of $^{224}Ra$ (half life=3.4 days) and $^{223}Ra$ (half life=11.3 days) were measured in surface seawaters of the Nakdong River estuary and the South Sea of Korea in April and October 2002. In order to determine these short-lived Ra isotopes, we used a delayed coincidence counter which is much more rapid and accurate than traditional methods. In an estuarine mixing zone (salinity, ~l6 ppt), the activities of $^{224}Ra\;and\;^{223}Ra$ were much greater than what would be expected from a mixture of freshwater and seawater in the Nakdong River estuary. This excess Ra may be a result of Ra desorption from fresh sediments originating from the river upstream. However, in the more open areas of the Nakdong River estuary (salinity>30 ppt) and the South Sea of Korea, $^{224}Ra\;and\;^{^{223}Ra$ activities decreased exponentially as a function of distance offshore. Using the decrease of $^{223}Ra$ with distance offshore in the South Sea of Korea, we estimated the apparent horizontal eddy diffusivities. The apparent eddy diffusion coefficients in South Sea of Korea are calculated to be approximately $3500-8000\;\textrm{m}^2/sec$.

Compositions of large nuclear cores (e.g. boiling water reactors) are highly heterogeneous in terms of fuel composition, control rod insertions and flow regimes. For this reason, they usually lack high order of symmetry (e.g. 1/4, 1/8) making it difficult to estimate their neutronic parameters for large spaces of possible loading patterns. A detailed hyperparameter optimization technique (a combination of manual and Gaussian process search) is used to train and optimize deep neural networks for the prediction of three neutronic parameters for the Ringhals-1 BWR unit: power peaking factors (PPF), control rod bank level, and cycle length. Simulation data is generated based on half-symmetry using PARCS core simulator by shuffling a total of 196 assemblies. The results demonstrate a promising performance by the deep networks as acceptable mean absolute error values are found for the global maximum PPF (~0.2) and for the radially and axially averaged PPF (~0.05). The mean difference between targets and predictions for the control rod level is about 5% insertion depth. Lastly, cycle length labels are predicted with 82% accuracy. The results also demonstrate that 10,000 samples are adequate to capture about 80% of the high-dimensional space, with minor improvements found for larger number of samples. The promising findings of this work prove the ability of deep neural networks to resolve high dimensionality issues of large cores in the nuclear area.

In order to secure practising rapid pattern(證, zheng) differentiation against acute infectious diseases like corona virus disease-19(COVID-19) showing rapid variation and contagion, a simplified classification of stages centering on the exterior-interior pattern identification with 2 step-subdivision by cold, heat, deficiency, excess pattern and pathogens is proposed. Pattern differentiation by compound patterns of 8 principles is made for the non-severe stage of general cold and the early mild stage of epidemic disease. Compound pattern's names of 8 principles about external infectious diseases are composed of three stages, that is disease site-characters-etiology. Based on early stage symptoms of fever or chilling etc., exterior, interior and half exterior and half interior patterns are determined first, and then cold, heat, deficiency, excess patterns of exterior and interior pattern respectively are determined, and then more concrete differentiation on pathogens of wind, dryness, dampness and dearth of qi, blood, yin, yang accompanied with constitutional and personal illness factors. Summarizing above descriptions, 4 patterns of exterior cold, exterior heat, exterior deficiency, exterior excess and their secondary compound patterns of exterior cold deficiency and exterior cold excess and so on are classified together with treatment method and available decoction for a standard measure of eight principle pattern differentiation.

PIB is the first amyloid plaque PET image tracer reported for the first time in 2003, and is considered to be the best and is still being utilized due to its very high uptake and kinetic properties. Initially, it was synthesized by radioisotope labeling using a precursor containing a methoxy methyl protection group, but now it is synthesized using a 6-OH precursor that can be easily synthesized in one step using [11C]methyl triflate. Carbon-11 has several limitations in clinical studies using PET because its half-life is as short as 20 minutes. In this study, in order to overcome the difficulty of this half-life, a rapid method using Sep-Pak was adopted instead of HPLC purification to significantly reduce the burden of the purification process and attempted synthesis. As a result, the synthesis time was shortened by more than 50%, and the yield of the final compound was higher than the previous result and showed relatively high specific radioactivity, confirming that it is a strategic method with high applicability for various precursors having primary amines.
In order to establish optimal dosage schedules and withdrawal times for sulfamethazine(SMZ) in pigs, pharmacokinetic and tissue distribution experiments were conducted in pigs. For comparative purposes, tissue depletion kinetics are also studied in rats. From three pigs administered with SMZ i.v., the pharmacokinetic profile of SMZ in two pigs was adequately described by a one-compartment open model whereas that in one pig was patterned after a two-compartment open model. Volume of distribution(Vd) was 0.48~0.57 L/kg and biological half-life($t_{1/2}$) was 11.8-16.8 h. From three pigs dosed with SMZ p.o., pharmacokinetic profile was explainable with a one-compartment open model. Time to reach maximum SMZ concentration in serum (Tmax) was 2.8 h, 3.2 h and 7.5 h. Elimination half-life was 2.8-7.5 h. The descending order in concentration of SMZ was plsama > kidney > liver > lung > heart > pancreas > spleen > duodenum > ileum > brain > adipsoe tissue from three pigs sacrificed at 5h, 29h and 54h after the administration of SMZ, p.o.. The protein binding of SMZ in pigs was 55.2%($2.5{\mu}g/ml$), 71.5% ($5{\mu}g/kg$) and 71.5%($10{\mu}g/ml$). The mean systemic bioavailability (F) of SMZ p.o. was 49.1 %. Meanwhile the pharmacokinetic profile of SMZ in rats was adequately described by a one-compartment open model. Absorption of SMZ p.o. in the rat was very rapid. In conclusion, the oral optimal dosage regimen of SMZ for pigs was the initial dose of 45.7 mg/kg followed by the maintenance dose of 30.2 mg/kg for high specific pathogens to SMZ. The time to reach below the stipulated residual allowable concentration (0.1 ppm) was calculated 93 h after oral administration of 200 mg/kg recommended by manufactureres.
The aim of this study was to examine the effects of repeated passive movement (RPM) of different velocities on the improvement of knee joint position sense (JPS) in post-stroke patients with hemiplegia, thereby investigate the possibility of clinical application in the initial stage of rehabilitation for patients with post-stroke hemiplegia. Thirteen hemiplegic patients participated in this study. For the subjects' knee JPS tests, a passive angle reproduction test and an active angle reproduction test were performed prior to and after the intervention, which involved 30 repetitions of passive full-range-of-motion flexion and extension exercise of the knee joints at randomized degrees of $0^{\circ}/s$, $45^{\circ}/s$, and $90^{\circ}/s$. Paired t-test analysis was done in order to compare changes in the pre- and post-intervention knee JPS. One-way repeated analysis of variance was used in order to compare changes in JPS after intervention at three different movement velocities. The level of significance was set at .05. The result was that the subjects' post-intervention knee JPS significantly improved after the RPM exercise at a $45^{\circ}/s$ and a $90^{\circ}/s$ relative to the RPM exercise $0^{\circ}/s$ (p<.05). JPS changes with RPM intervention at the rapid velocity of $90^{\circ}/s$ were most increased, suggesting the most effective enhancement in knee JPS is with intervention at the velocity (p<.05). Therefore, RPM intervention at a half or higher velocity improved stroke patients' knee JPS. During the initial stage of rehabilitation for patients with post-stroke hemiplegia, the efficient application of the RPM exercise at a half or higher velocity will be possible.
