스월유동이 분무특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Study on the Effect of Swirl Flow on Spray Characteristics)

  • It is well known that the flow and spray characteristics is critical factor on the performance and emission of a direct injection diesel engine. So this study aims to investigate the interaction of flow and spray characteristics. At first, in cylinder flow distributions in swirl adaptor for 4-valve cylinder head of DI Diesel engine were investigated under steady conditions for different SCV angles mounted on the cylinder head with steady rig test and 2-D LDV. And the in-cylinder flow was quantified in terms of mean flow coefficient and swirl ratio/tumble ratio. It was found that the swirl ratio is controlled between 2.3 and 3.8. Then spray characteristics of the intermittent injection were investigated. PDA system was utilized for measurement of a droplet size and velocity. The analyses of the PDA results are carried out with Time Dividing Method. It was found that there is a correlation between the swirl flow and SMD. The droplet size and the velocity were nearly constant value with each SCV angle. And the swirl ratio is higher, SMD smaller. The swirl ratio was helpful factor to the atomization of droplet.

태양열의 성층축열과 주택이용에 관한 연구(성층축열) (Thermally Stratified Hot Water Storage)

  • 본 실험연구에서는 탱크의 직경에 대한 높이의 비(H/D)가 3이고 유입 유량이 8LPM, 유입수의 온도와 기존 저장수와의 온도차, ${\Delta}T=30^{\circ}C$일때, 운동량교환을 최소화하여 가장 좋은 성층을 얻었고 또한 실험에서 사용한 유입구(Inlet Port)의 경우 수정 Richardson수(Modified Richardson Number), Ri가 0.004(Q=10LPM, ${\Delta}T=30^{\circ}C$) 이하의 값에서는 완전 혼합(Fully Mixing)이 발생하고 H/D가 작아질수록 혼합층의 두께($H^*/H$)가 증가하여 성층 축열에는 바람직하지 못하였다. 그리고 성층은 성층을 촉진시키기 위하여 Distributor를 사용했을 때가, Distributor를 사용하지 않은 유입구(Inlet Port)의 경우 보다 잘 형성되어 저장효율이 Distributor를 사용한 경우(Q=8LPM, ${\Delta}T=30^{\circ}C$, H/D=3)에 Distributor를 사용하지 않은 유입구(Inlet Port)의 최저효율 63%(Q=12LPM, ${\Delta}T=30^{\circ}C$, H/D=3인 경우)보다는 31% 정도, 최대효율 84%(Q=8LPM, ${\Delta}T=30^{\circ}C$, H/D=3인 경우)보다는 11% 정도 높은 95%까지 저장 효율을 증가시킬 수 있었다. 더 나아가서 단면이 균일한 원형 Distributor(A=D=Constant)의 경우에, 유량이 8LPM인 경우에 관내의 압력차가 작아 부분혼합(Partial Mixing)이 감소하여 안정된 성층을 얻을 수 있었다. 그리고, Distributor의 직경을 다음식과 같이 $$\frac{D}{D_L}=(\frac{x}{L})^{1/2}(1+\frac{fL}{2D})-\frac{fx}{2D_L}$$ 길이에 대하여 변화시켜 Distributor를 제작함으로써, 보다 안정된 열성층과 높은 열저장 효율을 얻을 수 있을 것으로 예상한다.

  • 연구에서는 국내 D 석탄 화력발전소에서 비회 이송량 35,800 kg/h의 용량으로 운전 중인 비회 이송설비를 대상으로 최대 비회 이송량을 예측하였다. 수평거리 550 m, 수직거리 40 m, 엘보우 9개소, 직경 0.254 m의 이송관으로 구성된 비회 이송관로와 트립(trip) 정압 1,163 mmH2O, 풍량 5,040 m3/h인 용적식 비회 이송 송풍기로 이루어진 비회 이송 시스템에서 최대 비회 이송량은 비회 이송량의 증가에 따른 비회 이송 시스템의 압력 손실과 용적식 비회 이송 송풍기의 트립 정압이 같아질 때이며, 이 조건 하에서 가능한 최대 비회 이송량은 52,600 kg/h로 예상되었다.

  • Combustion experiments are carried out to obtain the fundamental data for application of a internally circulating fluidized bed combustor to the combustion of paper sludge wastes. Experimental parameters are identified as secondary air ratio, sludge weight and water contents. The secondary air ratio was varied from 0 to 20% and water content was 14%, 25%, 35%, 45%, 62% and sludge weight was 30g, 60g, 90g. As a result, carbon conversion ratio was higher than injection of primary air. Emission of CO and NOx reduced with an increase of secondary air injection.

Effect of thickness on properties of ZnO film prepared by direct current reactive magnetron sputtering method

  • Effect of thickness on ZnO properties including the compositional ratio and crystallinity has been systematically investigated using a variety of characterization tools of x-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, x-ray fluorescence and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Interestingly, it was observed that ZnO films below 80 nm in thickness were in oxygen deficiency, while the oxygen ratio was increased in the films above the thickness, although the compositional ratio of ZnO film was not linearly varied with increasing film thickness. Also, ZnO crystallinity, which is characterized by (002) diffraction pattern, was clearly improved with increasing film thickness. The properties of ZnO film with different sputtering time and the nature of direct current reactive sputtering process were discussed in terms of compositional ratio, especially oxygen ratio in ZnO film.

서원의 외부공간 특성 -상주지방의 사례연구- (External Space Characteristics of the Seowon -A case Study of Sangju Area-)

  • The research deals with external space Seowon(lecture hall) dedicated to education and memorial rises in Sangju area of Choson Dynasty. Characteristics of Seowon as follow; 1. Seowon of Sangju area were built from the middle of 17C to the beginning of 18C. Ideological background of building functioning were grafted into the belief in the three God governing Childbirth, the theory of feng-shui(wind-and water-magic) which is in close connection with the principles of yin and yang, and confucianism and the philosophy of lao-tze and chung-tze. The formation of space were horizontally arrangement and vertical arrangement as the first-learning and then-ancestor shrine of Youngnam provinces. 2. Background and factors of site selection were applied geographical feature, tried to connect owner home town. 3. The shape of path of flow were simple of vertical and curved composition, were continued, were stabilized through composition of human scale's space by reasonable internal. A case of Sangju area, D/H ratio of the front area of buildings and courts was as follows. D/H=1>Hyangkyo> houses on the river>temples>lecture halls. D/H ratio ot the backside areas is as follows. D/H=1>Hyangkyo>houses on the river>lecture halls. 4. Inner garden were planted deciduous than evergreen trees with Lagerstroemia indica. Enclosed dominant trees were planted by Pinus densiflora, Querces seuata.construct GEM strain, and examined for the expression and functional stability in microcosms.

디퓨저에서 벽면으로의 방출유로에서의 압력손실 (Pressure Loss in the Discharge Flow Path from a Diffuser to a wall)

  • The exit edges of a diffuser are smoothly rounded, and a wall is located perpendicularly to a diffuser exit. The fluid is discharged towards the radial direction of a diffuser after impinging against a wall from a diffuser. In this flow path, pressure loss coefficients have been calculated by the variables of Reynolds number at a diffuser inlet, distance between a diffuser exit and a wall, and turbulence models. As a result, it was calculated that $h/D_0$ ratio between $0.35\sim0.4$ has the minimum pressure loss coefficient regardless of Reynolds number and turbulence models. It was also found that in case of the flow with relatively high Reynolds number at a diffuser inlet, the pressure loss coefficients by RNG $k-\varepsilon$ model have a tendency to be near to those by standard $k-\varepsilon$ model at small ratio of $h/D_0$, but to those by RSM at large ratio.

평면 충돌제트의 불안정특성(2)-원통음- (Characteristics of Plane Impinging Jets(2)- Cylinder-tone -)

  • The objective of this study is to obtain the instability characteristics of the plane jet impinging on circular cylinder associated with the cylinder-tone. It is found that the characteristics depends upon he ratio of the cylinder diameter to the nozzle width, D/h, and the jet velocity. When the ratio is oderate the cylinder-tone is similar to the edge-tone. With increase of the ratio, its characteristics ecomes similar to that of the plate-tone in which only the high-speed tone associated with turbulent et is generated. When D/h 〈1. the frequency range, especially the lower limit of frequency, is ignificantly influenced by the cylinder diameter. At around D/h = 1/2, while low speed tones are nduced with the antisymmetric mode of instability and affected by the vortex shedding from the ylinder, high-speed tones are generated, at first, with the symmetric mode of instability. and then, ith antisymmetric mode, as the jet velocity increases.

SmBCO 초전도 선재 특성에 대한 Sm:Ba:Cu 조성비의 영향 (Effects of Sm:Ba:Cu Composition Ratio on the Superconducting Properties of SmBCO Coated Conductor Prepared by using a Composition Gradient Method)

  • 조성경사법을 이용하여 LMO/IBAD-MgO template 상에 EDDC 증착법을 이용하여 $Sm_{1+x}Ba_{2-x}Cu_{3+y}O_{7-d}$ 초전도 박막을 증착하였다. 테이프 형상의 기판상에 길이방향으로 $Sm_{1+x}Ba_{2-x}Cu_{3+y}O_{7-d}$ 박막의 조성비가 연속적으로 변하는 샘플을 얻을 수 있었고, 비접촉 Hallprobe를 이용하여 임계전류를 측정한 결과 조성비에 대응하는 연속적인 임계전류분포를 측정할 수 있었다. 본 조성비 영역 중 Sm:Ba:Cu = 1.01:1.99 :4.87의 조성비에서 최대의 임계전류를 보였다. 이 조성비에서 SmBCO 박막표면에 전체적으로 roof tile 형상의 결정립들이 관찰되었으며 국소적으로 2차상들이 관찰되었다. 조성 경사법을 이용하면 광범위한 조성비영역에서 신뢰도 높은 초전도특성, 결정배향성, 박막표면 형상 등을 조사할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.
