충남 금산군의 지역정보 분석 (A Regional Information analysis of Geumsan-gun, Chungnam)

  • This study aimed at analyze the Regional Information of Geumsan-gun, Chung-Nam, Korea. The study area, the Geumsan-gun, is located in $35^{\circ}57'{\sim}36^{\circ}17'N$, $127^{\circ}19'{\sim}127^{\circ}39'E$. The Landforms, and Drainage network were analyzed from topographical maps on 1:25,000 & 1:50,000 and field survey. The Climate, Population, Economy, Transportation and etc. were analyzed from regional statistics. The results are as follows: The Centripetal forces of unit areas are not powerful because Geumsan-gun located contiguity with Daejeon metropolitan city. The accessibility of Geumsangun is good and is available for a site of specialized agriculture area.

  • CNTs(Carbon Nano Tube) were employed as an electron source in electron-gun of CRT(Cathode-Ray Tube). The CNTs were grown on the Si substrates and the electron gun by LP-CVD(Low Pressure-Chemical Vapor Deposition). Their physical and field emission property satisfied the requirements of the electron gun of CRT. The fabricated electron gun was inserted into 19 inch-sifted CRT and its operating properly was evaluated for practical usage.

저반동 전차포의 주퇴력 저감 연구 (A Study on Recoil Force Reduction Using a Low-recoil Direct Gun)

  • A low-recoil direct gun is useful in reducing the fire impulse generated by using a traditional shell. To apply a control equation to an AMESim Model, we have formulated a control equation for a recoil mechanism from the free object diagram. By modeling this equation, we have been able to compare the recoil distance and recoil force of a low-recoil direct gun. Here, we can analyze the recoil characteristics between traditional direct guns and low-recoil direct guns with perforated muzzle brakes. It is possible to mount a low-recoil direct gun with a perforated muzzle brake on a lightweight tracked vehicle by reducing its fire impulse.

대구경 화포용 소음기 개발을 위한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study for Developing Silencer Adapted by Large Caliber Gun)

  • In this paper, the silencer for large caliber gun to reduce the propagation of gun-generated noise was studied. The results of structural analysis and firing test were described. Structural analysis was conducted by using a commercial program, ANSYS, and showed that there was not any structural problem. The sound pressure level was diminished about 10 dB by the silencer adapted in front of the gun and the soundness of the material was verified from the internal pressure measurement. The reduction of weight, improvement of durability and speed-up of actuating device have to be studied later to improve the usability of silencer for large caliber gun.

Experimental Investigation on the Turbulence Augmentation of a Gun-type Gas Burner by Slits and Swirl Vanes

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effects of slits and swirl vanes on the turbulence augmentation in the flow fields of a gun-type gas burner using an X-type hot-wire probe. The gun-type gas burner adopted in this study is composed of eight slits and swirl vanes located on the surface of an inclined baffle plate. Experiment was carried out at a flow rate of 450 ι/min in burner model installed in the test section of subsonic wind tunnel. Swirl vanes playa role diffusing main flow more remarkably toward the radial direction than axial one, but slits show a reverse feature. Consequently, both slits and swirl vanes remarkably increase turbulence intensity in the whole range of a gun-type gas burner with a cone-type baffle plate.

  • The gundrill is capable of machining for having large length to diameter ratio in single pass. The techniques of gundrill and gun boring began developing in the late 18th century with the need for more accurate bores in rifle, cannon, machinery part and marine part etc. The main feature of the gun drilling provides a stabilizing cutting force resultant necessary for self guidance of the drill head. A study of the accuracy and surface finish of holes produced would reveal quite useful information regarding the process. The thesis deals with the experimental results obtained during gun drilling on marine part materials for different machining conditions.

  • The present study addresses an analytical investigation to understand the characteristics of gas flow in the High-Velocity Oxy-Fuel(HVOF) thermal spray gun. One-dimensional analysis is extended to involve the effects of the wall friction and powder particle diameter. From the present analysis it is well known that the flow characteristics inside and outside the thermal spray gun is varied depending on the combustion chamber pressure. The thermal spray gun flow is characterized by six different patterns. The powder particle size and wall friction significantly influence the powder particle velocity. The particle velocity decreases with an increase in the powder particle size. This implies that the combustion chamber pressure should be increased to achieve a higher velocity of the powder particle.

  • 저항 스폿 용접은 자동 용접라인 등에서 널리 사용된다. 최근에는, 대량으로 생산하는 산업현장에서 좀 더 정교한 품질 제어가 필요하게 되었고 마이크로프로세서를 채용한 제어의 다양한 적용으로 높은 생산성과 더 나은 용접품질을 얻을 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 인버터 타입 파우어 소스와 용접 서보건을 개발하였다. 그 결과, 기존의 공압건에 비해 몇 가지 장점을 갖게 되었는데 그 중의 하나는 용접공정 중에 정밀한 가압력 제어가 가능하게 되었다. 또한, 작업시간도 줄고 경비도 절감되는 부가 효과를 얻을 수 있다고 판단된다.

흄토치 성능 평가에 관한 연구 (Performance Assessment of Fume Extracting Welding Gun)

  • Fume extracting welding gun is one of the promising options for reducing the welder's fume exposure. The performance of the gun was assessed on the basis of capture efficiency. Capture efficiencies were measured in a test chamber recommended by American Welding Society. The overall capture efficiency was turned out to be above 95%. But it did not include the effect of crossdraft existing in the real work environment because all experiments were conducted in a closed chamber. It thus needs more work in the future. In addition, the future directions for improving the pres ent commercial techniques of the gun were discussed.

  • Resistance spot welding using air gun has been used for joining the sheet metal in automotive manufacturing process. Although air gun has many advantages, it also has the limitation to control the pressure as a factor to improve weld quality. In this study, we apply servo gun using servo motor to resistance spot welding and find the relationship between welding pressure and welding quality. Trough the experiment to change welding pressure during the welding cycle, we can make it clear that the change of welding pressure is greatly influence on the welding quality. To get in a. using response surface methodology, drew out the optimal welding pressure profile for welding quality progresses. We made an optimal profile of welding pressure which improves welding quality using response surface methodology.
