용역폭력의 실태와 대책에 관한 논의 (Realities of Violence Committed by the Private Security and its Solutions)

  • 오늘날 민간경비는 공경비의 부족한 치안수요의 보조적 역할을 수행하며 급성장하였다. 이러한 일련의 성장에는 긍정적인 측면이 많지만 부정적인 측면도 적지 않다. 그 중 용역폭력은 대표적인 민간경비업의 부정적인 측면이다. 본 연구에서는 민간경비업체의 용역폭력의 근절을 위한 논의를 필두로 용역폭력의 사례를 제시하고 제시된 사례에 따른 문제점을 개선하기 위한 방안을 모색하는데 중점을 둔 연구이다. 용역폭력이 근절되지 않는 한 민간경비산업의 확장이 어려운 것은 자명한 일이기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 용역폭력의 제한 규정을 강화해야 한다는 점, 경비원에 대한 감독과 관리 책임에 있어 적극적으로 용역을 수주한 경비업체의 책임성을 강화해야 한다는 점, 마지막으로 경비업무에 대한 철학적 정체성을 확립해야 한다는 점을 대안으로 제시하였다.

염화철과 탄산나트륨 용액에 의한 철 침전물의 열반응 (Thermal Reaction of Iron Precipitates Prepared by Adding Sodium Carbonate Solution to Ferrous Chloride and Ferric Chloride Solutions)

  • The iron precipitates were prepared by adding sodium carbonate solution to ferrous chloride and ferric chloride solutions to pH=9 and pH=4.5, respectively. The thermal reaction of the iron precipitates was investigated by means of TGA, DTA and X-ray diffraction. In the former the crystallization of $\alpha$-$Fe_2O_3$ begins at about 35$0^{\circ}C$, while in the latter at about 30$0^{\circ}C$, during the calclnation in air. In the iron precipitate from ferrous chloride solution, the activation energy for the crystallite-growth or $\alpha$-TEX>$Fe_2O_3$ in air is about 7.6$\times$104J/mole between 800 and 100$0^{\circ}C$. As the result of X-ray diffration for the reduction product of hematite, it was found that maghemite, magnetite and wustite are formed and that hematite is transformed to magnetite through maghemite.

The Impact of Tax Evasion on Afghanistan's Economy

  • The simple regression model (SRM) is used in this study to look at potential economic growth-influencing factors. The sample's period runs from 2005 to 2019. The data was gathered from various ministries and government agencies such as the Central Bank of Afghanistan's Statistical Bulletin, the World Bank, the United Nations (UN), World Bank open data, NASA, Ministry of Finance (MoF), Ministry of Economy (MoE), and Central Bank of Afghanistan's Statistical Bulletin (CBA), as well as the internet and news. There is an urgent need to ensure that taxes are collected in the most efficient manner possible because one of the enormous management gaps in Afghanistan over the last two decades has been tax evasion. According to the results of this study, tax evasion has a negative and significant impact on Afghanistan's economic growth. We can affirm that the subject of this article is among the most significant topics recently discussed in my country. If the right solutions are implemented, It can significantly contribute to quickening the cycle of the developing Afghan economy and turning it from an unstable to a sustainable one.

Under-Developed and Under-Utilized Eclipsing Binary Model Capabilities

  • Existing but largely unused binary star model capabilities are examined. An easily implemented scheme is parameterization of starspot growth and decay that can stimulate work on outer convection zones and their dynamos. Improved precision in spot computation now enhances analysis of very precise data. An existing computational model for blended spectral line profiles is accurate for binary system effects but needs to include damping, thermal Doppler, and other intrinsic broadening effects. Binary star ephemerides had been found exclusively from eclipse timings until recently, but now come also from whole light and radial velocity curves. A logical further development will be to expand these whole curve solutions to include eclipse timings. An attenuation model for circumstellar clouds, with several absorption and scattering mechanisms, has been applied only once, perhaps because the model clouds have fixed locations. However the clouds could be made to move dynamically and be combined into moving streams and disks. An area of potential interest is polarization curve analysis, where incentive for modeling could follow from publication of observed polarization curves. Other recent advances include direct single step solutions for temperatures of both stars of an eclipsing binary and third body kinematics from combined light and velocity curves.

The Impact of Foreign Direct Investment, Aid and Exports on Economic Growth in Vietnam

  • Foreign factors play an important role in the socio-economic development of each country, in which foreign direct investment (FDI), foreign aid and exports of goods and services are always given top priority in undeveloped countries as well as developing countries. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the various factors such as FDI, foreign aid, exports and economic growth in Vietnam. The empirical method employed secondary time-series data set during the period 1997-2018 to determine the impact of FDI, foreign aid and exports on economic growth in Vietnam by using a linear approach. For this study, data is collected from the World Bank and relevant agencies in Vietnam. An empirical model is built with a correlation and regression analysis between economic growth (GDP, current) and three independent variables (FDI, aid, exports of goods and services). The results show that the relationship between FDI (net inflows), aid, exports and GDP (current) has a positive effect at a 1% significance level. Based on these findings, the article recommends that Vietnam continues to seek effective solutions to maintain high economic growth rates by attracting FDI inflows, official development assistance (ODA), and increasing exports of goods and services.

다양한 배양액 조성이 코이어 수경재배 딸기 '매향'의 생육과 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Various Composition of Nutrient Solution on Growth and Yield of Strawberry 'Maehyang' in Coir Substatrate Hydroponics)

  • 본 연구는 딸기 '매향'의 양수분 흡수율을 고려하여 개발한 배양액을 검증하고자 이온 조성이 다른 5종 배양액으로 8개월 동안 수경재배하면서 생육과 수량에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 2015년 9월 22일 코이어 고설베드에 딸기 묘를 정식하고 1개월 후 다섯 종류의 배양액 농촌진흥청 딸기 배양액(RDA), 야마자키 딸기 배양액(Yamazaki), PBG 딸기 배양액(PBG), 서울시립대 딸기 배양액(UOS) 및 새로 개발된 서울시립대 딸기 배양액(NewUOS)을 사용하여 EC $1.0dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$, pH 6.0으로 1일 주당 150~300mL 공급하였다. 정식 60일 후 엽폭, 엽병장은 배양액 종류에 차이를 보였으며, 광합성은 RDA와 NewUOS 배양액 처리에서 높았고, PBG 배양액 처리에서 낮았다. 영양생장기 배액의 EC는 공급수준보다 낮은 EC $0.7{\sim}0.8dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$, 이후는 EC $1.0{\sim}1.2dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$로 안정되었다. 배액 pH는 Yamazaki 배양액 처리에서 6.2~6.8로 높은 반면, UOS 배양액은 5.1~5.2로 낮았다. 영양생장기 배액의 무기이온은 질산태 질소의 흡수가 가장 활발하였으며, 화방전개 이후 칼륨 흡수가 NewUOS, UOS 및 Yamazaki 배양액 처리에서 높았다. 정식 6개월 후 지상부와 지하부 생체중과 건물중은 UOS와 NewUOS 배양액에서 높았으며, 지상부 건물율은 Yamazaki 배양액에서 43.5%로 낮았으며, 지하부 건물율은 NewUOS배양액에서 30.6%로 낮았다. 12월부터 2월까지 수확된 딸기의 과장, 과폭, 과중, 당도는 배양액 차이에 의한 유의성은 없으나, NewUOS 배양액에서는 주당 과수와 평균 과중이 높아 수량이 높았다. 3월부터 5월까지 Yamazaki 배양액에서 수확된 딸기는 주당 과수와 수량이 높았다. 따라서 이온 조성 차이에 따른 배양액 5종으로 수경재배하였을 때 '매향'의 생육은 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 시기별 상품성 향상을 위해 정식 후 ~ 2월까지는 NewUOS 배양액을, 고온과 화방당 착과량이 많아지는 3월 이후에는 Yamazaki 배양액으로 재배하는 것이 적합하리라 본다.

  • We estimate the interior Lipschitz norm and maximum of the solution for degenerate parabolic equations with absorption. Also obtain the growth rate of the solution $u$ in terms of time $t$. From this we show the uniqueness of solution with respect to the initial trace.

  • Fire and smoke can from a small ignition source develop rapidly. Active systems in combination with Passive Fire Protection measures will offer highest safety standards to the building's developers and occupants. Nevertheless, the fire growth is very unpredictable and it is therefore essential at the planning stage that tested solutions are well selected according to National codes and later on installed by qualified contractors to ensure optimum performance. This demonstrates that Passive Fire Protection as safety measure cannot be neglected. Recent fire cases all over the world still proof that fire can develop any time and any where even in countries of high safety standards.

두개골 조기유합증의 수술적 교정에서 BoneSource®의 보조적 사용 (The Supplementary Use of BoneSource® in the Surgical Correction of Craniosynostosis)

  • Craniosynostosis is a congenital anomaly characterized by premature closure of cranial sutures. Surgical intervention should be performed during infancy. However, surgical correction of craniosynostosis remains bone defect and secondary angle occasionally. Currently, publications investigating solutions to bone defect and secondary angle created by cranioplasty are getting much interest. We have used $BoneSource^{(R)}$ which is relatively safe as an implantable substance for providing solutions for this problem. From June 2002 to January 2004, five children with craniosynostosis underwent frontocalvarial contouring using $BoneSource^{(R)}$ and concurrent cranial vault remodeling. The patient ages ranged from 8.0 months to 4.9 years(mean, 2.5 years). The quantity of $BoneSource^{(R)}$ implanted ranged from 10 to 25g, with a mean of 13g. This paper presents the first series of children treated with $BoneSource^{(R)}$ for frontocalvarial contouring in the surgical correction of craniosynostosis. No patients experienced any complications. Our results shows excellent retention of contour without causing asymmetry or irregularity. No visible evidence of interference with craniofacial growth were observed. Through our experiences, $BoneSource^{(R)}$ is found to be very useful for frontocalvarial contouring in children undergoing correction of craniosynostosis.
