항공기 레이다의 GMTI 모드를 위한 Sigma-Delta STAP의 적용 설계와 성능 분석 시뮬레이션 (Application Design and Performance Analysis Simulation of Sigma-Delta STAP for GMTI Mode of Airborne Radar)

  • Sigma, Delta 및 Guard 수신 채널을 가진 항공기 레이다의 공대지 GMTI(Ground Moving Target Indication) 모드를 위한 Sigma-Delta STAP(Space Time Adaptive Processing) 적용 방법, GMTI 처리 방법을 제시하였다. 제시한 방법들을 ICM(Internal Clutter Motion) 환경을 고려한 클러터 모의 환경 및 신호처리 시뮬레이션, MDV(Minimum Detectable Velocity)를 통해 성능을 분석하여 그 결과들을 보였다. 제시한 Sigma-Delta STAP 처리 방법 및 GMTI 처리 방법들은 특정 항공기 레이다 시스템에 의한 제약 사항에 덜 영향 받으면서 실제 적용이 용이하다.

점지진원 모델을 이용한 경주 지진으로 인한 지반운동 생성 (Simulation of Ground Motions from Gyeongju Earthquake using Point Source Model)

  • In low to moderate seismic regions, there are limited earthquake ground motion data recorded from past earthquakes. In this regard, the Gyeongju earthquake (M=5.8)occurred on September 12, 2016 produces valuable information on ground motions. Ground motions were recorded at various recording stations located widely in Korean peninsula. Without actual recoded ground motions, it is impossible to make a ground motion prediction model. In this study, a point source model is constructed to accurately simulate ground motions recorded at different stations located on different soil conditions during the Gyeongju earthquake. Using the model, ground motions are generated at all grid locations of Korean peninsula. Each grid size has $0.1^{\circ}(latitude){\times}0.1^{\circ}(longitude)$. Then a contour hazard map is constructed using the peak ground acceleration of the simulated ground motions.

남한 지진의 지속시간과 H/V 비율 (The Duration and H/V ratio of the Ground Motion in Southern Korea)

  • The duration and H/V ratio(the amplitude ratio of the horizontal to vertical components) of ground motions caused by earthquakes in southern Korea are analyzed. Total 329 seismograms of horizontal component recorded at hypocentral distances of 10 to 350 km from 27 earthquakes with local magnitude 2 to 4 are used for the analysis. Simplified relation between the duration of ground motion( $T_{d}$) and the ratio($\chi$) of Arias intensity( $I_{A}$) and squared maximum acceleration($\alpha$$_{max}$$^{2}$) is determined to be $T_{d}$ = 3.423$\chi$$^2$+ 8.200$\chi$ + 0.029, which is useful for the estimation of the duration in southern Korea. There are three distinct distance ranges with different linear variations of the duration in hypocentral distance. They are distance intervals of 10~80km, 80~140km, and the distance greater than 140km. The duration in southern Korea shows clear proportionality to the local magnitude at magnitudes greater than 3.1. The value 1.37 of the H/V ratio obtained in southern Korea is similar to the value 1.4 of ENA(Eastern North America). The H/V ratio in southern Korea increases in the frequency range from 0.3 to 10Hz. The duration and H/V ratio of ground motions derived in this study could be used in the stochastic simulation of strong ground motion.ion.n.n.

  • 2007년 1월 20일 규모 4.8의 오대산 지진 관측기록을 사용하여 강진동 발생에 있어서 지각구조의 영향을 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 강진동을 발생시키는 위상을 규명하였으며, 지진위험성 평가에 있어서의 의미를 고찰하였다. 관측자료와 파형모사 분석 결과, 지각-맨틀 경계에서 반사된 파가 예상보다 큰 지진동을 발생시킴을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 우리나라와 같은 지진활동이 많지 않은 지역에서도 지진위험저감 연구에서 지각구조를 고려하여야 함을 보여주고 있다.

  • A scale model of power tiller-trailer system with the same kinematic characteristics was constructed one eighth of the actual size to validate the effectiveness of mathematical model of motion. The parameters for the scale model of power tiller-trailer system were measured by a series of laboratory experiments. Validation tests for the: scale model was conducted under several ground and operating conditions. The tests were performed on artificial ground surfaces with several kind, of slope and obstacle. The travel path of the scale model was photographed successively in three directions. The travel paths obtained from both the film analysis and the simulation model appeared to be consistent with each other. It was concluded that the simulation model could be used to predict the motion of actual power tiller-trailer system if the parameters for actual power tiller and trailer are provided.

궤도차량을 위한 동특성 해석 프로그램 개발 (Development of a Dynamic Analysis Program for Tracked Vehicles)

  • A simulation program for vehicle dynamic analysis was developed. The Cartesisn coordinate system was used for translational motion and the Euler angle system was used for rotational motion. A three dimensional multi-wheeled vehicle model and equations of motion were derived. Also static equilibrium analysis was added for initial vehicle condition setting. The program user can describe the exact characteristics of suspension spring force and damping force in the user subroutine. A wheel-ground contact model which represents geometrical effect was developed. Two cases of simulation for 16 D.O.F. vehicle model were conducted to validate the developed program by comparing the simulation results with the experimental data.

  • This paper deals with modeling and analysis fer the landing motion of a human-body model. First, the dynamic model of a floating human body is derived. The external impulse exerted on the ground as well as the internal impulse experienced at the joints of the human body model is analyzed. Second, a motion planning algorithm exploiting the kinematic redundancy is suggested to ensure stability in terms of ZMP stability condition during a series of landing phases. Four phases of landing motion are investigated. In simulation, the external and internal impulses experienced at the human joints and the ZMP history resulting from the motion planning are analyzed for two different configurations. h desired landing posture is suggested by comparison of the simulation results.

  • This paper deals with motion planning algorithm for kinematically redundant manipulators that are not fixed to the ground. Differently from usual redundant manipulators fixed to the ground, the stability issue should be taken into account to prevent the robot from falling down. The typical ZMP equation, which is employed in human walking, will be employed to evaluate the stability. This work proposes a feed forward ZMP planning algorithm. The algorithm embeds the 'ZMP equations' indirectly into the kinematics of the kinematic model of a manipulator via a ZMP stability index The kinematic self motion of the redundant manipulator drives the system in such a way to keep or plan the ZHP at the desired position of the footprint. A sequential redundancy resolution algorithm exploiting the remaining kinematic redundancy is also proposed to enhance the performances of joint limit index and manipulability. In addition, the case exerted by external forces is taken into account. Through simulation for a 5 DOF redundant robot model, feasibility of the proposed algorithms is verified. Lastly, usual applications of the proposed kinematic model are discussed.

국내 지진 기록을 이용한 약진 지역에서의 인공지진파 발생에 관한 연구 (Generation of Artificial Earthquake Ground Motions for the Area with Low Seismicity)

  • In the nonlinear dynamic structural analysis, the given ground excitation as an input should be well defined. Because of the lack of recorded accelerograms in Korea, it is required to generate an artificial earthquake by a stochastic model of ground excitation with various dynamic properties rather than recorded accelerograms. It is well own that earthquake motions are generally non-stationary with time-varying intensity and frequency content. Many researchers have proposed non-stationary random process models. Yeh and Wen (1990) proposed a non-stationary stochastic process model which can be modeled as components with an intensity function, a frequency modulation function and a power spectral density function to describe such non-stationary characteristics. This model is based on the simulation for the strong-motion earthquakes with magnitude greater than approximately 5.0~6.0, because it will be not only expected to cause structural damage but also involved the characteristics of earthquake motions. Also, the recorded earthquake motion within this range are still very scarce in Korea. Thus, it is necessary to verify the model by the application of it to the mid-magnitude (approximately 4.0~6.0) earthquakes actually recorded in domestic or foreign area. The purpose of the paper is to generate an artificial earthquake using the model of Yeh and Wen in the area with low seismicity.
