실내 원예활동이 초등학생의 주의집중력 향상에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Indoor Horticultural Activities on Improvement of Attention and Concentration in Elementary School Students)

  • 본 연구는 세 가지 원예활동이 초등학생의 주의집중력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 실시되었다. 경상북도 영천시 J초등학교 내 Wee Class 상담실을 이용하는 초등학생을 대상으로 실험군 10명에게는 꽃장식, 심기, 압화 등 원예활동을 실시하였고, 실험에 참여하지 않은 10명의 대조군을 두었다. 각 원예활동은 주 1회 총 3회씩 실시되었고, 주의집중력 검사지와 Harris 격자판은 원예활동 실시 1주일 전과 9회기 종료 후 대조군과 실험군을 대상으로 조사되었으며, 특히 Harris 격자판은 실험군을 대상으로만 매주 원예활동 후 실시하였다. 검사지를 이용한 주의집중력 평가 결과, 원예활동 후 정서적인 문제에서 9.2점, 관리기능상의 문제에서 7.8점, 그리고 전체 점수도 19.0점 감소하여(P < 0.05) 실험군의 주의집중력이 대조군과 비교하여 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다. Harris 격자판을 이용한 주의집중력 검사 결과, 꽃장식, 심기 및 압화 활동은 실시 전 6.00점에 비해 실시 후 각각 2.22, 2.49, 그리고 2.41점이 높아졌는데(P < 0.05), Harris 격자판 점수의 증가는 주의집중력 향상을 의미한다. 원예활동 실시 후, 꽃장식, 심기 및 압화 활동은 대조군의 7.10점에 비해 각각 1.12, 1.39, 1.31점을 증가시켰다(P < 0.05). 결론적으로 꽃장식, 심기 및 압화 등 실내 원예활동은 초등학생의 주의집중력 향상에 효과적이었다.

Research on UAV access deployment algorithm based on improved virtual force model

  • In this paper, a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) access deployment algorithm is proposed, which is based on an improved virtual force model to solve the poor coverage quality of UAVs caused by limited number of UAVs and random mobility of users in the deployment process of UAV base station. First, the UAV-adapted Harris Hawks optimization (U-AHHO) algorithm is proposed to maximize the coverage of users in a given hotspot. Then, a virtual force improvement model based on user perception (UP-VFIM) is constructed to sense the mobile trend of mobile users. Finally, a UAV motion algorithm based on multi-virtual force sharing (U-MVFS) is proposed to improve the ability of UAVs to perceive the moving trend of user equipments (UEs). The UAV independently controls its movement and provides follow-up services for mobile UEs in the hotspot by computing the virtual force it receives over a specific period. Simulation results show that compared with the greedy-grid algorithm with different spacing, the average service rate of UEs of the U-AHHO algorithm is increased by 2.6% to 35.3% on average. Compared with the baseline scheme, using UP-VFIM and U-MVFS algorithms at the same time increases the average of 34.5% to 67.9% and 9.82% to 43.62% under different UE numbers and moving speeds, respectively.

한방음악치료가 스마트폰 중독 청소년의 불안과 분노표현 및 주의집중력 향상에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Korean Medicine Music Therapy on Anxiety, Anger Expression, and Concentration of Smart phone Addicted Adolescents)

  • Objectives : As of 2013, South Korea ranked number one in the world in smartphone penetration rate with 67.6%. Unfortunately, with the rise of smart phone use, side effects such as fraud, loss of personal information, identity theft, formation and widening of a mobile information gap, and last, but not least, smart phone addiction, also increased. Methods : Seventh (7th)graders from a girls' junior high school in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, we reevaluated the Smart phone Addiction Proneness Scale (S-scale). Among the 9 students classified as high risk users, 5 were randomly selected for a study group, and the remaining 4 students, meanwhile, were designated as a control group. The study group received Korean medicine music therapy (KMMT) in a total of 8 sessions, each session lasting 50 minutes. Both pre- and post-interventions, the two groups completed the S-scale, Harris and Harris' concentration grid exercise, STAI, and STAXI-K. We analyzed the data by t-test and paired t-test using IBM SPSS Statistics. Results : KMMT had a significant influence on proneness to smart phone addiction (t=3.130, p=.035). KMMT had positive effects on concentration improvement (t=-2.935, p=.043), trait-anxiety symptoms improvement (t=2,992, p=.040), and anger-expression control (t=4.416, p=.012). Conclusions : KMMT had positive, improving effects on trait anxiety and anger expression, which in turn enhanced the improvement of concentration as well as the decrease of smart phone-addiction proneness.
