Recognition and Intent-to-Participate of Rural Migrants on Urban and Rural Exchange Business in Namhae County, South Korea

  • Background and objective: Rural migrants are an important human resource in urban and rural exchange (URE) business, therefore it is necessary to enhance their awareness and intent-to-participate. This study was to analyze the rural migrants' recognition and intent-to-participate of URE business and to propose the enhancement of them both. Methods: The questionnaire was designed to analyze the socio-demographic background, motivations, satisfaction with settlement, intent-to-persist, and intent-to-participate of URE business including tourism. The data of 144 respondents was subject to the statistical analysis. Results: The motives of migration were to enjoy leisure life after retirement, increased tiredness of city life, health problems, etc. The satisfaction with settlement was 3.67 at 5-point Likert scale. The intent-to-recommend and intent-to-publicize were 3.40 and 3.46, respectively. The intent-to-participate was 3.45, which was affected by the necessity of URE business and the support of central/local governments, and also showed a significant correlation with the satisfaction with settlement, intent-to-recommend, intent-to-publicize, tourism resources for green tourism or rural tourism, driving a car in Namhae county, and the service and price of meals. They thought the missions that the Namhae county office must focus on were to establish an internal/external public relations systems, establish a support system of central/local governments, and foster/support local leaders. Conclusion: It is necessary to improve the satisfaction with settlement and intent-to-persist, expand exchanges with local people, improve internal/external public relations systems, foster/support leaders, improve transportation in the county, enhance the service and price of meals, and develop/operate URE programs including tourism.

  • In terms of accessibility and time the tram rail and bus transportation system is equipped with all the benefits of. In addition, construction and operating costs than light rail trams reduce AGT, and by car from the city center by inhibiting the transport demand management, pedestrian-oriented transportation system, including city jaebuheung can expect several effects, depending on the expected introduction of trams are. In this study, in Korea as a way to introduce a tram tram to enhance the safety and reliability challenges for the advancement and promotion of foreign tram with the safety regulations and accident cases learn safety measures to strengthen the domestic transportation. The expected introduction of the tram fits the matter at issue and the perception of citizens and the passengers can make changes to present policies, the successful national introduction of trams and safety study aims to review.

자작형 하이브리드카의 제작 및 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Manufacture and Control of a Self Manufacturing Hybrid Electric Vehicle)

  • In this paper, Hybrid Electric Vehicle is directly designed and manufactured for base study of HEV's system and Green Car. Foundation design consists of power train design and the frame design. The power train concept includes motor, engine, generator and battery. And the concept of the frame is the single-seat of this self-made HEV. A frame installed in hybrid system contains suspension, steering wheel, seat, accelerating pedal, brake pedal, clutch handle and various chassis parts with bearings. Electromagnetic clutch is equipped to transmit engine power to drive axle. The control algorism make using LabVIEW to control of an engine and a motor depending on drive condition. A parallel type hybrid system is manufactured to control operation of a motor and an engine depending on vehicle speed.

전산유체해석을 통한 RE엔진 냉각수 코어의 성능 개발 (Performance Development of Coolant Core for Range Extender Engine Using CFD Simulation)

  • 본 논문에서는 RE엔진에 적용하기 위한 냉각수 코어를 CFD 기술을 활용하여 개발하였다. 개선 모델은 배기밸브 주위와 사이의 온도를 저감하기 위한 냉각수 우회부를 추가하였다. 2번 실린더 블록 주위와 배기밸브 사이의 유량이 증가하였기 때문에, 베이스 모델대비 개선 모델의 유량 정체가 개선되었다. 결과적으로, 배기밸브 주위에서의 열전달이 향상되고, 전 유량 구간에서 기존 모델 대비 약 5%의 압력 강하량 저감 효과를 보이는 개선 모델을 얻을 수 있었다. 압력 강하량의 저감은 상응하는 냉각수 펌프의 부하를 저감하고 연비에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단된다.

고속 운전조건을 고려한 하이브리드 자동차용 ISG 모터 방열설계 및 해석 평가 (Thermal Design and Analysis Evaluation of ISG Motor for Hybrid Electric Vehicles considering High-speed Driving Condition)

  • Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) system improves the fuel economy of hybrid electric vehicles by using idle stop and go function, and regenerative braking system. To obtain the high performance and durability of ISG motor under continuously high load condition, the motor needs to properly design the cooling system (cooling fan and cooling structure). In this study, we suggested the enhanced design by modifying the thermal design of the ISG motor and then analyzed the improvement of the cooling performance under high-speed condition and generating mode by CFD simulation. The temperatures at the coil and the magnet of the enhanced model were decreased by about $4^{\circ}C$ and $6^{\circ}C$, respectively, compared to those of the conventional model. Therefore, we verified the cooling performance enhancement of the novel thermal design in the case of core loss increment due to the higher speed condition.

  • It is predicted that Japan will be in super-aged society at 2010. Recently elderly house buildings with self-supporting life and personal care senior house types have supplied over the area. So Elderly house buildings in Japan were studied for characters of room arrangement, through documents and internet from Jan. 2007 to Apr. 2007. Five cases built since 2000 were examined. There were self-supporting life house type, personal care senior house type, convenient facilities, etc. There were not lots of facilities in the building. Generally multi-purpose dining room and general bath room, lots for car and bicycle or restaurant or kindergarten or home helper station or green food shop or day service or moving service or clinic were there. These facilities were shared with local community. The reason of not being many facilities in the building was that the houses were located at urban with good transportation and convenient facilities. The residents in the building were get the utmost of regional facilities and the local people did the facilities in it because scare facilities in the building and fluent facilities in region. So strong community was composed of the residents and local people, on the contrary.

I. 아동의 외부활동을 위한 공간으로서 대구시 단독주택지 주거환경과 거주자 의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Housing Environment of Detached Housing Area and Resident's Consciousness as the Space for Children's Outdoor Activities in Daegu)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the information about improvement method of the detached housing area for children's outdoor activities. This study was accomplished by two research methods; the evaluation of physical environment of two detached housing areas, and the analyzation of satisfaction & consciousness of 190 residents. Outdoor spaces of detached housing area were divided into 6 areas (play space, education facility, commercial facility, green space, street space, and empty space & parking lot). And then, 6 outdoor spaces were evaluated about the physical characters such as accessibility, network, safety, variety, functional, natural elements. Also, the survey for resident's satisfaction and consciousness was used the Likert scale. According to the result of this study, many parts of the detached housing area were not good for children's outdoor activities, and the resident's satisfaction was low. In the sample detached housing areas, negative factors were car and motorcycle. And many residents pointed out the lack of natural elements, variety, and safety of outdoor space in dwelling area. Finally, this study suggested the several constitution method for the children's activities based on the results of evaluation and survey.

멀티헤비테이션의 발전 가능성 및 수요특성 분석 (A Study on the Growing Trend of Multi-habitation and its Demand Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the concept, the necessity, and the increase of popularity of multi-habitation, a new life style in which inhabitants in urban areas reside in primarily condominiums during weekdays and retreat to dwellings in rural areas on the weekends. This paper also focuses on finding implication messages from analyzing the demand of multi-habitation in a survey which was conducted for 735 people who live in Seoul and the surrounding metropolitan areas in July 2009. Analysis of literature shows that based on five aspects (population structure, social economy, lifestyle, tourism, and housing market) this dynamic lifestyle, multi-habitation, is believed to be common in South Korea, and may increase in popularity in the near future. The results of the survey illustrate that the respondents show high interest in multi-habitation, and their most preferred locations are the green areas around the Seoul metropolitan area, which are one to two hours away by car. Moreover, regarding the participants' preferences in rural areas they were classified into three groups; those who want to reside in a nature environment, those who want to reside near family and in a close community, and those who want to reside in an environment that has essential facilities and easy accessibility.

최적교통정보 (Optimal Traffic Information)

  • 요즈음에는 GPS 및 GIS을 기반으로, 운전자에게 최단 경로탐색 및 예상도착시간을 인터넷 및 휴대폰으로 검색할 수 있다. 그러나, 아무리 좋은 자동항법 장치도 평균차량속도가 10- 20 Km 일 때에는 최단경로를 생성할 수 없다. 그러므로 승용차대기시간과 평균차량속도를 개선하기 위해서, 서로 다른 교차로 길이 및 교차로 차선수 일 때에도, 퍼지 적응 규칙을 이용한 최적녹색시간 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷을 이용해서 위험한 도로, 공사중인 도로 및 목적지 예상 도착시간 및 최적의 교통상황을 예보하는 기능을 제공할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • Recently the research for lightening the railway vehicle is actively made according to the demand of the environment-friendly technology development contributing to the energy cost reduction and the green growth. The railway vehicle lightweight research is expanded to the load-supporting first structure from the secondary structure which doesn't support the load. After the composite car body development used in the Korean tilting train is completed, the composite bogie frame development in which the weight reduction efficiency is large is progressed. In this paper, distributed strain was monitored when the train load was added to the central part of the composite bogie side-frame. By using the optical fiber which was attached to the lower part of the side-frame and the developed Brillouin correlation domain analysis (BOCDA) system, the strain distribution could be measured with 3cm step over 3m section. This strain distribution was compared with the design value by the FE analysis when the load of 14ton and 18ton added. This experiment can verify the manufactured composite bogie side-frame.
