Global pig production has increased by 140% since the 1960s. The increase in global population, coupled with improving socioeconomic conditions of many countries has led to an increased consumption of meat globally, including pork. To keep up with demand and capitalize on economic opportunities, the countries of China, the United States (US), and the European Union (EU) have become the top 3 pork producers globally. China is of particular interest, as it is the both the largest country in pork production and pig numbers, as well as being the largest importer of pork from other countries. Globally, the efficiency of pork production has improved, in relation to the integration of pig production and the dramatic increase in research efforts in pig nutrition and production. Through integration, large producers can consolidate resources and maximize profits and efficiency. The increased research interest and efforts in pig production have given scientists and producers the opportunity to collaborate to adapt to challenges and identify possible solutions to issues brought on by a volatile global market. Intestinal health (23%), general nutrition and growth (23%), and amino acid nutrition (15%) were the top 3 areas (61%) leading research trends in pig nutrition and production. Major dietary interventions with feed additives evaluated include functional amino acids, feed enzymes, pre-/pro-/post-biotics, and phytobiotics with a common goal to improve the growth efficiency by enhancing nutrient utilization and intestinal health. With increasing global issues with environment, pig producers and the supporting scientists should continue their efforts to improve the production efficiency and to reduce the environmental footprint from pig production.

Decentralized filtering for a formation flight instrumentation system by INS/GPS integration is considered in this paper. An elaborate tuning method of the measurement noise covariance is suggested to compensate modeling errors caused by decentralizing the extended Kalman filter. It does not require large data transfer between formation vehicles. Covariance analysis exhibits the superior performance of the proposed approach when compared with the existent decentralized filter and the global filter, which has the target-filter performance.

교육활동에서 교사는 핵심적인 역할을 수행하고 있으며, 교육활동에 대한 교사들의 인식과 지향은 교육의 실천적인 맥락에서 핵심적인 요소로 작동한다. 따라서 과학교사의 지구계 수업에 대한 인식과 지향을 분석하는 것은, 지구계 교육의 목표가 현실에서 어떠한 모습으로 구현될지 가늠할 수 있게끔 한다. 이러한 생각을 바탕으로 이 연구에서는 두 명의 과학교사가 작성한 교수 학습계획안과 심층면담을 통하여 이들이 지구계 교육에 대한 인식을 알아보고, 교사의 지향을 수업에 대한 일반적 관점과 통합의 관점에서 분석하였다. 연구 결과 지구계 교육의 궁극적 겨냥점인 '전지구적 과학소양'에 대한 교사의 충분한 이해가 선행될 때 그 취지가 충분히 반영된 지구계 수업이 실천될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 교사가 전 지구적 과학 소양을 함양하기 위해서는 네트워크 통합을 포함한 다양한 통합의 상(像)이 교사에게 구체적으로 제시될 것이 요구되었다. 아울러 현장에서 지구계 수업을 활성화하기 위해서는 지구계 교육 커리큘럼 구성에 대한 제도적인 뒷받침이 필요한 것으로 보인다.

This paper attempts to review of recent development of ASEAN financial integration and to evaluate it and predict its future aspect. For this purpose, we first examine the historic aspect of ASEAN financial integration such as ASEAN financial service open agreement or ASEAN capital market forum report and currently agreed integration plan. In addition, we study the development stages of ASEAM member countries in terms of its economic size or income level. Finally, we look at the financial market and institutional aspect of ASEAN member countries and the recent development of global financial market. From these analyses, we find several important facts. First, it is true that ASEAN, in general, will enjoy the effect of expanding regional investment and improving the quality of financial service through the financial integration. We think that its long term benefit is too large for ASEAN member states to avoid. Second, as a result, it is certain that ASEAN will corporate further to make its financial market to be integrated in the future. Third, however, despite these benefits and continuing efforts, we expect that it will be very difficult for ASEAN to reach a stage of financial integration as suggested in the Blueprint of ASEAN Economic Community by the year of 2015. The large difference among member states in term of economic and financial development will not allow for them to reach a single goal within a short time. Instead, we expect the following scenario for the integration process will hold. First, ASEAN will reach an agreement on the institutional framework by 2015 and afterwards, slowly the markets will begin to integrate. Second, at the earlier stage, not all but some countries will start the integration process. We expect that the financial market of ASEAN 5 will first be integrated and other 5 will join to it later.

Since the accuracy of Global Positioning System (GPS)-based vehicle positioning system is significantly degraded or does not work appropriately in the urban canyon, the integration techniques of GPS with Inertial Navigation System (INS) have intensively been developed to improve the continuity and reliability of positioning. However, its accuracy is degraded as INS errors are not properly corrected due to the GPS signal blockage. Recently, the image-based positioning techniques have been started to apply for the vehicle positioning for the advanced in processing techniques as well as the increased the number of cars installing the camera. In this study, Single Photo Resection (SPR), which calculates the camera exterior orientation parameters using the Ground Control Points (GCPs,) has been integrated with the INS/GPS for continuous and stable positioning. The INS/GPS/SPR integration was implemented in both of a loosely and a tightly coupled modes, based on the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). In order to analyze the performance of INS/SPR integration during the GPS outage, the simulation tests were conducted with a consideration of factors affecting SPR performance. The results demonstrate that the accuracy of INS/SPR integration is depended on magnitudes of the GCP errors and SPR processing intervals. Additionally, the simulation results suggest some required conditions to achieve accurate and continuous positioning, used the INS/SPR integration.

본 연구에서는 유통경로 상의 지배구조 유형이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 실증적으로 검증해 보았다. 수출유통의 성과를 극대화 하기위한 일반적 전략대안은 수직적 통합에 의한 성과관리이다. 그러나 수출유통에 있어서 소유구조에 의한 수직적 통합은 용이하지 않은 경우가 대부분이다. 본 연구의 결과, 소유구조 이외에도 다양한 관계전략으로 유통성과 관리가 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 전략적 시사점으로, 수출유통경로결정에 있어서, 소유구조이외에도 거래관계구조 상의 정보교류, 협력관계, 신뢰관계 확립 등을 통하여 유통경로의 수직적 통합과 같은 수준의 성과를 이루어 낼 수 있다는 것을 제시할 수 있다.

Along with the trend of financial globalization, Vietnam has undergone a process of increasing financial integration. The great capital inflow poses a problem for the monetary policy's ability to follow a planned target during the changes in the global financial markets. This paper aims to examine the impact of financial integration on monetary policy independence in Vietnam and investigate the role of foreign exchange reserves on this relationship. The research borrows from Mundell-Fleming's Trilemma theory. The results show that increasing financial integration reduces the independence of monetary policy in the short term, and foreign exchange reserves have not shown an apparent role in Vietnam. In addition, increasing exchange rate stability has a negative impact on the independence of monetary policy, but it has an impact on growing market confidence and partly supporting the management process of monetary policy in the short term. Therefore, in the long run, Vietnam needs to allow exchange rate flexibility more, but there should not be sudden changes; the size of foreign exchange reserves should be strengthened to facilitate the implementation of an independent monetary policy with an obvious impact in the context of an increasing scale of international capital flows in the future.

To maintain the traditional notion of global serializability in multidatabase systems has been recognized as one of difficult problems due to the autonomy of participating local database systems. In this paper, we propose a global concurrency control algorithm based on the relaxed concurrency control criterion in distributed MDBs, which can be applied to applications in which the database integration has no effect on the integrity constraints. In the proposed algorithm, the process to determine whether a global transaction can be executed or not consists of intra-validation phase and inter-validation phase.

The rapid growth of Korean SI(System Integration) Industries have established the largest marketplace in Korean software markets. It is the high value added industry, which is knowledge-centered and technology-intensive. Korean SI industries are going on participating the global market as well as the foreign high technical services are introduced to Korea by WTO's contracts. In this thesis, we analysis Korean SI industries present state and characteristics, futhermore suggest the plan to expand the SI industries of Korea in the global competitive market.

We categorize partnership types between network operators and a global video streaming or over-the-top service provider, Netflix from 2011 to the first quarter 2018. The options are based on the integration of over-the-top (OTT), Netflix with pay TV and telecommunication operators in the form of carrier billing, access to over-the-top (OTT) via devices or the development of their tariff plans. Options of the Type 3, 'cooperation' or the Type 4, 'agreement' entails a kind of the technical involvement between two partners and commercial agreement. The types of partnership are evolving from one to others. Some partnerships have characteristics of more than one type. The majority of technical or service integration cooperation of Type 3 entail bundling and marketing promotion of Type 2 and Type 1. Similarly, the 'agreement' of Type 4, co-branded or white-label service initiative entail tariff or device user interface (UI) integration of the 'cooperation' of Type 3 and joint marketing initiatives of Type 1.
