Nowadays, Korean society is quickly transforming into an aging society. There are lots of problems resulting from old aged society. First of all, in the case of medical service, it is an urgent task to find out what is the most proper care for the elderly in order to reduce medical expenses. It can be said that the geriatric hospital has to be designed to give adequate medical service to the elderly. However, it is hard to find out what the differences is between the general hospital and the geriatric hospital. Especially, the plan of the patient room has to reflect thoughtful consideration relating to characteristics of the elderly due to the fact that there is a close connection between the patient room and residence. Therefore this study aims to suggest the guideline and the plan of the patient room for the elderly.

Alluvium is sedimentary stratum and composed of gravel, sand, silt, clay. Permeability of alluvium is the higher. If alluvium have lots of aquifer, will be of great use heat source and heat sink of heat pump. Alluvium aquifer contain the thermal energy of surrounding ground. Also geothermal heat pump using alluvium aquifer reduce expenses than general geothermal heat pump, because geothermal heat pump using alluvium aquifer make use of single well. In this study geothermal heat pump using alluvium aquifer was installed and tested for a building. The heat pump capacity is 30USRT. Temperature of ground water is in $12{\sim}17^{\circ}C$ annually and the quality of the water is as good as living water. The heat pump cooling COP is 4.4 ~ 4.7. The system cooling COP is 3.25 ~ 3.6. This performance is as good as BHE type ground source heat pump.

This study is to diagnose the present superintendent election and education standing committee system for improvement based upon Constitutional values of local education system. The findings are the followings. To improve the election system of superintendent it is recommended to maintain present election system rather than change it drastically since the present system ensure relatively more autonomy, expertise, and political neutrality of local education system. However, the qualification such as years of educational experiences of superintendent candidates need to be restored. Regarding education standing committee it suggest that all or at least 2/3 members need to be educational representatives rather than general representatives. For superintendent as well as education standing committee election, it needs to elaborate the vote ballet such as change of candidates name order by voting place to reduce its effects to election results. It also needs to strengthen public management of election such as expenses and TV forums among candidates.

Recently, it is increased by degrees to construct complex and large structures. In general, in order to solve the dynamic problem of these structures they have used finite element method(FEM). In this method, however, it is necessary to prove whether its results are correct or not. Therefore it requires much effort, time and many expenses for dynamic analysis of complex and large structures. Authors have developed the transfer dynamic stiffness coefficient method(TDSCM) which is the new vibration analysis method for complex and large structures on personal computer, and confirmed that the results of this method are good for these structures on personal computer. In this paper, TDSCM is applied to the torsional vibration analysis for the shaft system which consist of concentrated disks and shafts of continuous body. First, we formulate algorithms for torsional free and forced vibration analysis, and compare the results of TDSCM and FEM.

The purpose of this study was to examine the trend of conflict of elderly coresiding adult children and to find out what behaviors they choose to cope with conflicts. Also this study tried to investigate how those coping behaviors affected elderly parents' psychological adjustment. The subjects of this study were 218 elderly parents coresiding with adult children in Seoul metropolitan areas. Data were analyzed by using statistics such as factor analysis t-test one-way ANOVA Pearson's correlation through SPSS/PC computer programs. The major findings were as follows: In general elderly parents perceived low level of conflicts with their adult children. Elderly parents with bad health condition no religion lack of personal expenses and low level of statndard of living showed more conflicts. Each of four major coping behaviors was affected by different factors. The most effective variables affecting elderly parents' psychological adjustment was active problem solving activity.

In general, standard TCP/IP (transmission control protocol-internet protocol), which is called TCP/IP, is using as the communication basis protocol between any collections of networks that is connected. In this paper, using this TCP/IP implementation of remote control system and suitable program for long distance communication is proposed. This system can make system, which basic Ethernet and TCP/IP used system, to mini modeling, so all module that is using here can be used. Therefore, intention of this paper is to reduce expenses, to effective manage for plant and to increase of productivity as linking each plant of several factory to TCP/IP and Ethernet, and then many control plant and manager minimize the needed course.

Today women's social participation is highly increasing, and especially the middle-aged women's activity is amazing. However, many ladies have trouble in wearing suits or jackets. Because the current ready-made apparels focus on young and slender women, and accordingly the current size system is made for them. So it is necessary to develop new size system for general ladies who are hardly well-proportioned figures. The survey of mid-life ladies in this Paper vividly reveals the above Problem. Many ladies dissatisfied with the fitness of the existing apparels. Therefore updating the current size system of ladies' apparels is badly needed. It also helps reducing corporates' stock-holding costs and customer's clothes-adjusting expenses.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine cognition about harmful use of alcohol among female university students. Methods: The data were collected by questionnaire from the 389 female university students. The analysis of the data was used by SPSS program(ver. 18.0). Technical statistics analysis was used in general characteristics and drinking related characteristics and drinking related cognition of objects. Logistic regression was used in factors affecting on cognitive degree of drinking evil. Results: Cognitive degree of drinking evil was low as more drinking related outlay expenses and was low as more moderation in drinking and publicity experience. Conclusions: University and the government authorities must consider the seriousness and importance of the problem and enforce moderation in drinking and publicity for female university students and develop education program and prepare the publicity material.

The purpose of this analysis is to collect the information on managerial aspects for improving the profitability of silk reeling industry in Korea. Various finacial statistics including balance sheet, profit and loss statement and manufacturing cost statement were analyzed by use of 21 randomly selected enterprise data prepared report by Korea sericultural association during 1972∼1974. The results are as follows. 1. The ratio of profit to sales is the most important factor affecting the profitability of silk reeling industry. 2. This ratio is controlled by the general management and selling cost. 3. The ratio of manufacturing expenses shows a high correlation to the production cost of raw silk.

Surgery is a very hands-on area of medical care, in that surgeons identify problems in patients' bodies and directly change them through operations. Therefore, it is not only necessary for surgeons to have a high level of expertise, but also to take considerable responsibility for the outcomes of each operation. However, surgery, which was once an object of envy, has long been a process to avoid, due to various circumstances, such as abnormal medical expenses in the medical field and social phenomena that avoids difficult work. It is unfortunate that medical professionals do not receive sympathy from others within the same medical field because of the general difficulties of the profession. The fundamental problem in this situation is the abnormal profit structure of the Korean medical system. Efforts by various related organizations will be needed to objectively evaluate the problems of the current medical insurance system and to make reasonable adjustments considering the difficulty, frequency, and resource-intensiveness of medical care.
