Infection Status of Isthmiophora hortensis Metacercariae in Dark Sleepers, Odontobutis Species, from Some Water Systems of the Republic of Korea

  • Present study was performed to survey on infection status of Isthmiophora hortensis (formerly Echinostoma hortense) metacercariae (IhMc) in dark sleepers, Odontobutis spp., from some water systems of the Republic of Korea. A total of 237 Odontobutis spp. was collected in the water systems of 5 rivers, i.e., Mangyeong-gang (gang means river), Geum-gang, Tamjin-gang, Seomjin-gang, and Nakdong-gang. They were all examined with artificial digestion method for 5 years (2013-2017). A total of 137 (57.8%) Odontobutis spp. were infected with 14.8 IhMc in average. The prevalence was the highest in Nakdong-gang areas (62.9%) and followed by in Mangyeong-gang (57.1%), Geum-gang (56.3%), Tamjin-gang (54.8%), and Seomjin-gang (53.9%) areas. Metacercarial densities were 28.1 (Geum-gang), 13.9 (Mangyeong-gang), 13.3 (Nakdong-gang), 13.1 (Tamjin-gang), and 2.3 (Seomjin-gang) per infected fish. Especially, in case of Yugucheon (cheon means stream), a branch of Geum-gang, IhMc were detected in all fish (100%) examined and their density was about 48 per fish. By the present study, it was confirmed that the infection status of IhMc is more or less different by the surveyed areas and the dark sleepers, Odontobutis spp., are suitable fish hosts of I. hortensis.

'Reorganization of 『BenChaoGangMu』' of medical practitioners in Joseon Dynasty in the 19th-20th centuries (19-20세기 조선 의가들의 '『본초강목』 재구성하기')

  • There are three kinds of books written by different authors in different regions in the 19th century. These books include "BonChoYuHam (本草類函)" (1833), "BonChoBuBangPyeonRam (本草附方便覽)" (1855) and "BonChoBang (本草方)" (1860?). However, these books are very similar in terms of content and format. They were written in the format of large medical books and they contained prescriptions made up with 1-2 kinds of herbals depending on diseases. These three books which could not affect each other appear to have these commons. The reason is that these books were newly edited based on Bubang (附方) in "BenChaoGangMu" depending on diseases and "BenChaoWanFangZhenXien" (1712) written by Cai, lie Xian (蔡烈先) was used as the reference. Woodblock printed book of "BenChaoGangMu" viewed by medical practitioners in Joseon Dynasty in the 19th century mostly had "BonChoManBangChimSun" which could be called '"BenChaoGangMu" Bubang index' as the appendix. All authors of three books tried to make 'reorganization of "BenChaoGangMu"' by using "BonChoManBangChimSun" as the important reference. Work of 'reorganization of "BenChaoGangMu"' focusing on symptoms being made in the 19th century was made a few times in the 20th century. "YangMuSinPyeon" and "SuSeBiGyeol" published in 1928 were outcomes of these works in the 20th century. 'Reorganization of "BenChaoGangMu"' being made in 19th-20th centuries showed great interest for "BenChaoGangMu" in the medical community in the late Joseon Dynasty. In addition, the practical scholarship of Joseon Dynasty gave "BenChaoGangMu" the value as the collection of prescriptions rather than the concept of book for herbal medicine. Prescriptions of reorganized "BenChaoGangMu" have been spread out to many books in the late Joseon Dynasty. Thus, the impact of "BenChaoGangMu" on society in the late Joseon Dynasty seems to be much larger than what has been known so far.

Infection Status with Metagonimus spp. Metacercariae in Fishes from Seomjin-gang and Tamjin-gang in Republic of Korea

  • To grasp the infection status of Metagonimus spp. metacercariae (MsMc), the freshwater fishes were surveyed from Seomjin-gang (river) and Tamjin-gang in the Republic of Korea. Total 1,604 fishes from 7 local sites of Seomjin-gang and 1,649 fishes from 2 sites of Tamjin-gang were examined for 6 years (2012-2017) by the artificial digestion method. MsMc were detected in fishes from 7 sites, i.e., Osucheon in Imsil-gun (36.3% fish in 6 spp.), Seomjin-gang in Sunchanggun (49.8% in 18 spp.), Songdaecheon in Namwon-si (64.5% in 8 spp.), Seomjin-gang in Gokseong-gun (72.4% in 14 spp.) and in Gurye-gun (78.8% in 17 spp.), Hoengcheon (75.9% in 11 spp.) and Namsancheon (58.9% in 7 spp.) in Hadong-gun. Their average densities were 4.2, 86.8, 39.9, 43.1, 246.5, 173.6 and 67.5 per fish infected respectively. Prevalence with MsMc in rasborinid fish from Seomjin-gang was 89.2% and their intensity was 73.6 per fish infected. Endemicities of MsMc in rasborinid fish from Seomjin-gang were significantly higher in fishes from the lower reaches (prevalence: 98.7%; density: 137) rather than in fishes from the middle (93.5%; 38) and upper (72.4%; 13) reaches. MsMc were also detected in 56.1% and 66.4% fishes from 2 surveyed areas, i.e., the middle reaches in Jangheung-gun and the lower reaches in Gangjin-gun, of Tamjin-gang, and their densities were 147 and 121 per fish infected. In susceptible fishes from Tamjin-gang, the prevalence was 84.1% and density was 227 per fish infected. By the present study, it was confirmed that MsMc is highly prevalent in the fishes from Seomjin-gang and Tamjin-gang in Korea.

  • 2020년 기준 국내 게임 시장은 작년 대비 21.3%가 증가하였으며, 그 중 모바일 게임 시장은 전체 게임 시장의 57.4%를 점유하고 있다. 이는 전년 대비 약 40% 성장한 모습으로 모바일 기기의 접근성과 성능의 향상으로 질 좋은 게임들을 장소에 구애받지 않고 즐길 수 있기 때문이다. 본 논문은 "김 탐정과 이상한 마을"이라는 모바일 게임을 설계하고 구현한다. 김탐정이 이상한 마을의 촌장에게 의뢰를 받아 마을에서 일어나는 사건들을 조사하여 사건들을 해결하는 스토리기반 텍스트추리 모바일게임이다. 게임의 스토리를 바탕으로 도트 프로그램과 포토샵을 이용하여 게임 배경, 캐릭터 디자인을 하였으며, 유니티를 이용하여 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문은 "PBTI"라 명명한 웹사이트를 설계하고 구현한다. 요즘 유행하는 성격 유형 설문조사인 MBTI에서 영감을 받아 피부타입과 퍼스널 컬러를 검사할 수 있는 온라인 쇼핑몰 웹사이트를 제작하게 되었다. 체계적이고 다양한 질문을 통해 사용자들의 피부타입을 검사하고 해당 피부타입 결과에 따른 상품을 추천해주는 알고리즘이 탑재되어 사용자에 맞는 상품을 추천해준다. PBTI의 이러한 기능들은 다른 온라인 뷰티쇼핑몰과 극명한 차별점을 만들고, 쇼핑몰 매출을 크게 증대시킬 것으로 기대한다. 데이터베이스를 구축하기 위해 오라클을 이용하였고, 웹페이지를 구현하기 위해 스프링을 이용하였으며 팀원들과의 협업을 위해 깃허브를 사용하였다.

  • 본 논문은 사용자의 피부 상태에 따라 사용자에게 적합한 화장품을 소개해주는 화장품 추천 웹 쇼핑몰, "PBTI"를 개발한다. 요즘 유행하는 성격 유형 설문조사인 MBTI에서 영감을 받아 피부 유형과 퍼스널 컬러를 검사하고 이를 기반으로 화장품을 추천하는 온라인 쇼핑몰 웹사이트를 제작하게 되었다. 바우만 교수의 피부 유형 지표를 바탕으로 제작된 질문을 통해 사용자들의 피부 유형을 검사하고 해당 피부 유형 결과에 따른 상품을 추천해주는 알고리즘이 탑재되어 사용자에게 맞는 상품을 추천해준다. 텐서플로우 기반의 인공지능을 탑재하여 퍼스널컬러 테스트를 제작하였다. PBTI의 이러한 무료 테스트 서비스 제공은 다른 온라인 뷰티 쇼핑몰과 극명한 차별점을 만들고, 쇼핑몰 매출을 크게 증대시킬 것으로 기대한다.

A Study on the Life of Kang Myeong-gil and His Medical Theories (강명길(康命吉)의 생애(生涯)와 의학사상(醫學思想)에 대한 고찰)

  • Gang Myeong-gil(康命吉) wrote Jejung sinpyeon(濟衆新編), one of three major medical books produced in the latter half of the Joseon Period. Jejung sinpyeon, edited at the behest of King Jeongjo, was intended to overcome the shortcomings of the then best medical book, Donguibogam(東醫寶鑑), and to update medical knowledge in a bid to spread that knowledge widely to the general public. Jejung sinpyeon contains the life and medical theories of the physician Gang Myeong-gil. In order to examine Gang Myeong-gil's life and medical theories, which influenced the edition and characteristics of Jejung sinpyeon, this paper studies his family lineage, medical records and the editorial characteristics of Jejun sinpyeon. Gang Myeong-gil and his ancestors served in government medical offices for some 200 years, and Gang Myeong-gil himself served as a physician at Naeuiwon for thirty years. His descendants also served as physicians upon passing the state-administered examination. Gang Myeong-gil preferred to prescribe drugs, and this inclination led him to include Yakseongga in Jejung sinpyeon, and he took an open and practical attitude towards the editing of the book. This approach is supported by the chapter on experience-based prescriptions in Jejung sinpyeon and the prescriptions of the Royal Infirmary, thus revealing his humanitarian and open thinking on medicine.

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 아두이노 무선센서 모듈과 Raspberry Pi, 웹서버를 이용한 IOT 기반 환경정보 수집시스템과 기상청 API를 통한 기상정보, 상점 서비스를 매시업하여 상품추천시스템을 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 사용자가 주변 환경의 데이터를 정확하게 확인하고 그에 맞는 상품을 추천받을 수 있도록 한다. 상품추천시스템에서는 상점 외부에 부착된 환경정보 수집시스템에서 측정한 데이터와 기상청 API 데이터를 DB에 저장하고 DB에 저장된 데이터를 이용하여 상황에 맞는 기후화면디자인과 환경정보 데이터를 html로 구성하여 보여준다. Raspverry Pi에 연결된 모니터를 통해 실시간으로 정보를 보여주며 일정 시간 간격으로 관련 상품 광고를 보여주며 필요한 물건을 추천해준다.

  • 본 논문에서는 시간과 공간의 제약없이 작물의 생육환경을 관측하고 자동 및 원격으로 제어할 수 있는 스마트팜 플랫폼을 설계 및 구현하였다. 스마트팜 플랫폼은 환경 데이터 수집을 위한 다양한 아두이노 센서 모듈, 웹과 데이터베이스 서버, 애플리케이션을 이용한 자동 및 원격 제어, 총 3가지 기술로 구성된다. 사용자가 앱을 통하여 언제 어디에서나 농장 주변의 환경 정보를 조회하고 원격으로 제어하면 농사에 대한 노동력 절감 뿐만 아니라 시간적·공간적 구속으로부터 자유로워져 여유시간도 늘고 삶의 질도 개선될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
