  • Objectives : The objective of this study is to examine the experiences of Internet game experience targeting to University students in Korea. Research topics was "What is meaning of internet game to the University students?" Methods : Classical phenomenology underpinned this study. Seven qualitative studies of University students were conducted between 20 and 23 years old. Semi-structured interviews were conducted. Interviews were audio recorded and transcribed verbatim. Phenomenological thematic analysis of data was undertaken. Results : The findings pivot around three interconnected themes :[Expectations for the emotional needs], [Spend time in the cyberspace], [Relieve stress throughout the game], [Instead of satisfaction from virtual reality], [Internet gaming repeat and desires]. The basic need for getting into internet game was [satisfaction from virtual reality was identified]. While internet games was eliminated stress, [Expectations for the emotional needs] and [Spend time in the cyberspace] were the catalyst that makes them repeatedly getting into Internet the game. Based on the result, I suggest that Internet gaming should be recognized as a tool to relieve stress for college students, But it is not satisfied with the reality in virtual space. Therefore, the strategy must be to recognize reality accompanying. And Using a lot of time in cyberspace make them cause of internet game addiction. Therefore, it requires a systematic strategy for the Internet using time limits. Also the emotional needs met were motivated to repeat an Internet game. So another way to meet the emotional needs to college students should be sought.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of an 8-week competitive exercise program on physical fitness, psychological variables, and video-game playtime in game-addicted adolescents. Methods: All subjects were screened by a game behavior diagnosis scale questionnaire, and a total of 7 game-addicted, male adolescents ($16{\pm}2$ yrs of age) participated in the study. All subjects were informed of the study's purpose, procedures, and risks, and a consent form was obtained from each subject. The 8-week soccer and basketball exercise program included twice-weekly sessions of 120 minutes per session. All data were presented as $mean{\pm}SE$, and the variables were analyzed with a paired t-test. Results: Following the 8-week intervention, cardiovascular endurance and grip strength were significantly increased (approximately 17 and 7%, respectively [p<0.05]). Although there was no statistical significance on flexibility, vertical jump, and zigzag-run, all variables showed an increasing tendency. Anxiety levels changed from a mild anxiety state to a normal state, and depression levels also altered from moderate to a normal state. The video-game playtime was reduced about 20% during weekends and vacation periods. Conclusion: Given these combined results, 8 weeks of regular participation in competitive exercise (soccer/basketball) may contribute to positive effects on physical fitness, psychological variables, and video-game playtime in computer-game addicted adolescents.

  • We think that it is important to develop the metadata for educational game. Because they are applicable to game contents, separate learning sources and studying components in the game-based LCMS. But markets of eduainment and educational games are newborn field, so systematic development of metadata is not advanced yet. Therefore in this paper, we first established the design process of educational game metadata, and then according to the rule, we suggested this as a prototype. And we defined the extracted data as metadata for educational game through inspection of an expert group. If these metadata prototype are operated by adopting through standardization stage of public institutes, we can provide the convenience of searching, managing and recycling these metadata to learner, instructor and the developing institute. And we can also expect the prevention of overlapping investment.

  • Game bots distribute a large amount of goods or items used in a game, thereby lowering the value of game goods and items. Also, a large number of game bots hunt monsters and collect items, which hinders ordinary users from enjoying content normally. However, no research has been done on the type of user and the type of activity that the increase in bots specifically affects. Therefore, this study provides a practical implication to encourage users to use games by classifying types based on the game users' access data and analyzing the correlation with user departure due to the increase of bots.

  • Based on visual Thinking theory, VR(virtual reality) game changes the traditional form of memory and maps the content into game elements to realize the immersive spatial memory mode. This paper analyzes the influencing factors of game design and system function construction. This paper proposes a hypothesis: with the help of visual thinking theory, VR game is helpful to improve learners' visual memory, and carries out research. The experiment sets different levels of game through empirical research and case analysis of memory flip game. For example, when judging two random cards. If the pictures are the same, it will be judged as the correct combination; if they are different, the two cards will be restored to the original state. The results are analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and AMOS data analysis. The results show that game content using the concept of "Memory Palace", which can improve the accuracy of memory. We conclude that the use of spatial localization characteristics in flip games combining visual thinking can improve users' memory by helping users memorize and organize information in a Virtual environment, which means VR games have strong feasibility and effectiveness in improving memory.
