무인기용 상향링크 대역확산 송수신기 설계 및 개발 (Design and Development of DSSS Modem for UAV Uplink)

  • 본 논문은 무인기용 대전자전 송수신 장치 개발에 대한 연구로 재밍(jamming) 환경에 강건한 대역확산(DSSS) 송수신기 개발에 대해 기술한다. 대역확산 방식은 데이터의 전송률 보다는 재밍마진이 중요하기 때문에 송수신 장치의 개발 목표로 재밍마진이 15dB 이상이고, 확산코드를 변경 가능한 송수신기를 제작하는 것이다. 멀티패스 성분을 이용하기 위한 레이크 수신기와, FEC로 부호이득이 7.2dB인 터보 코드를 적용하였다. 본 논문에서는 대역확산 송수신 장치의 전체적인 구조와 설계방법, 기능시험 결과를 기술하고 결론을 맺는다.

Margin Adaptive Optimization in Multi-User MISO-OFDM Systems under Rate Constraint

  • In this paper, we focus on the total transmission power minimization problem for downlink beamforming multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems while ensuring each user's QoS requirement. Although the linear integer programming (LIP) solution we formulate provides the performance upper bound of the margin adaptive (MA) optimization problem, it is hard to be implemented in practice due to its high computational complexity. By regarding each user's equivalent channel gain as approximate independent values and using iterative descent method, we present a heuristic MA resource allocation algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm efficiently converges to the local optimum, which is very close to the performance of the optimal LIP solution. Compared with existing space division multiple access (SDMA) OFDM systems with or without adaptive resource allocation, the proposed algorithm achieves significant performance improvement by exploiting the frequency diversity and multi-user diversity in downlink multiple-input single-output (MISO) OFDM systems.

  • 본 연구는 칼만(Kalman) 필터 적용에 따른 LQG 제어기의 안정도 여유 상실을 극복하기위해 적용한 LTR 제어 시스템의 성능을 시간영역과 주파수영역에서 분석해 보고, 설계에 중요한 요소인 안정도 여유의 회복이 DUOX 구조물에 대해서도 실현되는지 여부를 확인해 보고자 함에 그 목적이 있다. 제어 대상의 구조물은 4층 골조로서 상부에 TMD와 AMD로 구성된 DUOX 시스템이 설치된 하이브리드 시스템이다. LTR/DUOX 제어기법으로 제어한 결과, 주파수응답의 Bode 선도를 통해 구한 게인 여유가 약 30dB로써 LQG/DUOX 제어기의 유실된 게인 여유를 20배 이상 회복시켜 보다 안정도 강인성이 우수한 제어기 설계가 구현되었다.

  • In this paper, a robust mixed H$_2$/H$\_$$\infty$/ output feedback control method is applied to the design of loop filter for PLL carrier phase tracking. The proposed method successfully copes with large S-curve slope uncertainty and a significant decision delay in the closed-loop that may exist In modern receivers due to a convolutional decoder or an equalizer. The objective is to design an output feedback controller which minimizes the H$_2$performance while satisfying the H$\_$$\infty$/ performance to guarantee the gain margin and phase margin for linear time invariant(LTI) polytopic uncertain systems. LMIs based approach is given to solve this problem. We can verify the H$\_$$\infty$/ performance satisfaction and minimize the phase detector error through the simulation result.

  • This paper presents a nonlinear controller design for optical disk drive systems to improve anti-shock performance. The nonlinear anti-shock controller is added parallel to the original linear servo control loop. In the previous work, dead-zone nonlinear element is used for nonlinear controller and PID control method is used for linear controller. Although this strategy improves anti-shock performance, it has a narrow stability bound. In this paper, we propose dead-zone with saturation nonlinear element for the nonlinear controller. Since this nonlinear element improves stability margin, we can use higher gain of dead-zone than the controller with dead-zone only. In the linear controller design, we show that lead-lag control has improved stability margin over PID control. Numerical simulation results show that the proposed method can get better performance to the external shock than previously proposed method.

  • In this paper, the relative stability of magnetic bearing system for the flywheel energy storage is evaluated using both simulation and experimental analysis. We make the simulation model for the magnetic bearing flywheel system using the rigid body shaft model. According to international standard ISO 14839-3, We experimentally analyzed the relative stability of magnetic bearing system. Additionally using both the simulation model and experimental tests, Phase margin and Gain margin is acquired through Nyquist plot.

  • This paper presents robustness properties of the Kalman Filter ad the associated LQG/LTR method for linear time-invariant systems having delays in both the state and output. A circle condition relating to the return difference matrix associated with the Kalman filter is derived. Using this circle condition, it is shown that the Kalman filter guarantees(1/2, .inf.) gain margin and .+-.60.deg. phase margin, which are the same as those for nondelay systems. However, it is shown that, even for minimum phase plants, the LQG/LTR method can not recover the target loop transfer function. Instead, an upper bound on the recovery error is obtained using an upper bound of the solution of the Kalman filter Riccati equations. Finally, some dual properties between output-delated system and input-delayed systems are exploited.

  • As patients have concerned the esthetics of dental restorations, the porcelain fused to metal restorations have gain their popularity due to their strength and esthetic appearance for many years. However, metal collar in subgingival level of porcelain fused to metal restoration often causes black shadows. Inadequately positioned metal collar causes plaque depositions, gingival inflammations, black shadows, and discolorations of margin area. Those problems can be avoided by a clear finishing line, well-fabricated provisional restorations with precise margin and fine polishing, collarless porcelain fused to metal restoration, and all ceramic restoration. In this case report, collarless porcelain fused to metal restoration was used to treat cervical discoloration from old restorations.

시간 지연 요소를 이용한 PI 제어기 자동 동조 알고리즘 (An Auto-tuning Algorithm of PI Controller Using Time Delay Element)

  • 본 논문에서는 PI 제어기를 설계해야 하는 경우인 임계 주파수 부근에서 이득 감소가 적은 시스템을 구별할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 임계 주파수 부근에서 이득감소가 적은 시스템을 구별하기 위해 시간 지연 요소를 이용하여 이득 감소율을 구하는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 크기 마진과 위상 마진이 주어진 경우 PI 제어기를 설계하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 시간 지연요소와 포화함수를 이용하여 PI 제어가 가능한 한점의 좌표값을 계산하는 방법을 사용하였다. 제안된 방법은 시뮬레이션을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • In order to increase competitiveness and to gain economic benefit, companies ask more and more how to recycle their products in a efficient way. So far, to answer this question, companies are not sufficiently supported by suitable methods specially in the area of disassembly process planning. For this reason, we develop in collaboration with an industrial partner a new method for generating an optimal disassembly sequence. In the presented paper this method will be described in detail by considering the exiting assembly information, disassembly method and disassembly depth. PLM (Profit-Loss Margin) curve that is used to determine disassembly depth consists of profit value, disassembly cost and disassembly effect. Using assessment parameters, generated alternative disassembly sequences are evaluated and optimal disassembly sequence is proposed. This method is applied to generate the optimal disassembly sequence of Door Trim as an example.
