In this paper, we extend the derivation of the iterative soft-output Viterbi algorithm (SOVA) for partial response (PR) channels, and modify its decoding process such that it works consistently for arbitrary high code rates, e.g., rate 64/65. We show that the modified SOVA always outperforms the conventional SOVA that appears in the literature with a significant difference for high code rates. It also offers a significant cut down in the trace-back computations. We further examine its performance for parallel and serial concatenated codes on a precoded Class IC partial response (PR4) channel. Code rates of the form $\frac{k_0}{k_0+1}$($k_0$ = 4, 8, and 64) are considered. Our simulations indicate that the loss suffered by the modified SOVA, relative to the APP algorithm, is consistent for all code rates and is at most 1.2 dB for parallel concatenations and at most 1.6 dB for serial concatenations at $P_b$ = $10^{-5}$.

Design methodology of Interactuve Measuring Part Program Generating Tools(IMPPGT) realized on the FANUC 15MA using touch trigger probes and interactive macro functions of the CNC was described in this paper. Measuring G codes have been designed according to probe ste up, basic and applied inspection items by using measuring arguments. Menu driven measuring and inspection functions of the IMPPGT were studied and implemented on the CNC through the macro executor and ROM writer. Using the developed measuring G code system on the machine tool, untended measurement and inspection operation was able to be realized in precision FMS lines.

최근 모바일 시스템은 하나의 단말로 다양한 서비스망에서의 운용을 위한 Multi-core 시스템 형태로 연구되고 있다. 따라서 하나의 단말로 WCDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiple Access), MC-CDMA(Multi Carrier-Code Division Multiple Access), CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access), WiBro(Wireless Broadband)를 지원할 수 있는 모바일 시스템들이 출현할 것으로 예상된다. 다양한 서비스망을 지원하기 위한 모바일 시스템은 SoC(System one Chip) 기술과 더불어 하나의 칩셋으로 구현이 가능하며 그에 따른 모뎀 구조가 필요하다. 4세대 이동통신 서비스를 위한 시스템은 고속데이터 전송을 필요로 하므로 OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 방식은 필수적으로 적용 되어야 한다. 그런데, OFDM 신호는 독립적으로 변조된 많은 부반송파들로 구성되므로 이들이 동 위상으로 더해질 때 신호의 진폭이 증가하여 PAPR(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio)문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 4세대 이동통신 서비스를 위한 모뎀 구조를 제안하고 PAPR 문제를 해결하기 위한 PAPR 감소 기법을 제안한다.

In this study, general bacterial counts and coliform counts, which are hygienic indicator microorganisms, were tested for candy, chocolate, and jelly which are easily available and enjoyed around. After dropping each sample on the desk, indoors, and outdoors, it is immediately collected, or washed and collected to confirm the myth of the 3-second rule. Immediately after removing the wrapping paper, each sample was dropped on the desk, indoors, and outdoors, and after 3 seconds from the moment of contact with the surface, and then collected in a sample bag using sterilized sanitary gloves. After the same operation, each sample was rinsed for 5 seconds using sterilized sanitary gloves and sterilized distilled water, and then collected in a sample bag. The number of bacteria detected in non-washing candies was 41 CFU/g at outdoor and the number of bacteria detected in non-washing chocolate was 76 CFU/g at outdoor. The number of bacteria detected in non-washing jellies was 79 CFU/g at outdoor. Coliform group was not detected in all samples. This showed good results at the level of m = 10,000 or less, which is an allowable value suggested in the Food Code. Also, effect of washing on contaminated food was confirmed. This result is remarkably low compared with the microorganism specimens shown in Food Code, and it is confirmed that contamination occurs but not high value. Therefore, the myth of the 3-second rule is true compared to the figures based on Food Code. However, it showed the characteristics of bacteria that could survive and cross-contaminate on dry food surfaces and emphasized the importance of hygiene through food contact to unsanitary surfaces to minimize the risk of food poisoning.

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명의 핵심 기술인 사물인터넷 기술의 기술 융복합 분석에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 특허문헌의 주분류-부분류 CPC 코드 관계 활용하였다. 우리나라에 2014년 이후 출원된 사물인터넷(Internet of Things) 특허 중 주분류 CPC 코드가 G06Q50/10(전자상거래 서비스)인 특허문헌 77건에 대해 집중 분석하였다. 분석 결과 사물 인터넷 기술은 "전자상거래 서비스(G06Q50/10)"분야에서 부분류 서브 클래스에 해당하는 G06Q(49건), H04L(40건), G08B(24건), G05B(21건), H04W(21건), H04N(16건) 등과 강한 결합 관계를 가지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 CPC 코드의 기술 융복합 분석을 활용하면 여러 신기술간 기술 융복합 가능성을 예측하고, 새로운 특허를 개발하여 기업의 기술전략 수립과 새로운 가치 창출에 기여할 수 있다.

In this paper, we propose a downlink power control scheme to apply in the unequal error protection multi-code CDMA mobile medicine system. The mobile medicine system contains (i) blood pressure and body temperature measurement value, (ii) ECG medical signals measured by the electrocardiogram device, (iii) mobile patient's history, (iv) G.729 audio signal, MPEG-4 CCD sensor video signal, and JPEG2000 medical image. By the help of the multi-code CDMA spread spectrum communication system with downlink power control scheme and unequal error protection strategy, it is possible to transmit mobile medicine media and meet the quality of service. Numerical analysis and simulation results show that the system is a well transmission platform in mobile medicine.

Failure code system must include data of maintenance history, classification of failure, affective range and situation when failure occur. But the present failure code system have used a simple code system for classification to include only merchandise and tools. Advantageously, expansional standard code system that will be developed, it make that users can take steps of standardized overhaul and inspection as proposal maintain contents when failure occur or something wrong in vehicle of urban transit. Standardized failure codes must be developed and used that manufacturing companies and urban transit operating companies in order to give effect to maintenance works.

It is important for an ICRF full wave code to simulate the SOL (Scrape Off Layer) plasma as well as the core inside of the LCFS (Last Closed Flux Surface) for the precise prediction of the coupling between the antenna and the core plasma in tokamaks. To this end, a two dimensional full wave code based on a Fourier spectral algorithm has been developed. The spectral algorithm and procedures are described and the simulation results for the minority heating in KSTAR are reported including electric field, power absorption and power flux.

This paper presents a numerical simulation of the failure behaviour for the pipeline which has external corroded parts along the axis. The numerical study for the pipeline failure analysis is based on an FEM with an elastic-plastic and large-deformation. The predicted failure assessments for the simulated corrosion defects are compared with ANSI/ASME B31G code and a modified B31G method.
