  • We define the fuzzy uniformly continuous map and investigate some properties of fuzzy uniformly continuous maps. We will prove the existences of initial fuzzy uniform structures induced by some functions. From this fact, we construct the product of two fuzzy uniform spaces.

  • We will define a fuzzy quasi-uniform space and investigate some properties of fuzzy quasi-uniform spaces. We will show that the fuzzy bitopology and the fuzzy quasi-proximity can be induced by a fuzzy quasi-uniformity.

  • We study some properties of smooth uniform spaces. We investigate the relationship between smooth topological spaces and smooth uniform spaces. In particular, we define a subspace of a smooth uniform space and a product of smooth uniform spaces.

  • Using the idea of intuitionistic fuzzy set due to Atanassov, we define the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces as a natural generalization of fuzzy metric spaces due to George and Veeramani and prove some known results of metric spaces including Baire's theorem and the Uniform limit theorem for intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces.

  • In this paper, we introduced the notion of (L,$\bigodot$)-quasi-uniform spaces and (L,$\bigodot$)-neighborhood systems on a strictly two-sided, commutative quantale lattice L. We investigate their properties and give the examples. In particular, we study the relations between (L,$\bigodot$)-quasi-uniform spaces and (L,$\bigodot$)-neighborhood systems.

  • The aim of this paper is to study L-fuzzy uniformizable spaces. A new kind of topological fuzzy remote neighborhood system is defined and used for investigating the relationship between L-fuzzy co-topology and L-fuzzy (quasi-)uniformity. It is showed that this fuzzy remote neighborhood system is different from that in [23] when $\mathcal{U}$ is an L-fuzzy quasi-uniformity and they will be coincident when $\mathcal{U}$ is an L-fuzzy uniformity. It is also showed that each L-fuzzy co-topological space is L-fuzzy quasi-uniformizable.

  • The weighting strategy has received a great attention and has been widely applied to multicriterion optimization. This gaper examines a global criterion method (GCM) with the weighting objectives strategy in fuzzy structural engineering problems. Fuzziness of those problems are in their design goals, constraints and variables. Most of the constraints are originated from analysis of engineering mechanics. The GCM is verified to be equivalent to fuzzy goal programming via a truss design. Continued and mixed discrete variable spaces are presented and examined using a fuzzy global criterion method (FGCM). In the design process a weighting parameter with fuzzy information is introduced into the design and decision making. We use a uniform machine-tool spindle as an illustrative example in continuous design space. Fuzzy multicriterion optimization in mixed design space is illustrated by the design of mechanical spring stacks. Results show that weighting strategy in FGCM can generate both the best compromise solution and a set of Pareto solutions in fuzzy environment. Weighting technique with fuzziness provides a more relaxed design domain, which increases the satisfying degree of a compromise solution or improves the final design.
