ECAM Control System Based on Auto-tuning PID Velocity Controller with Disturbance Observer and Velocity Compensator

  • This paper proposed an ECAM (Electronic cam) control system which has simple and general structure. The proposed cam controller adopted the linear and polynomial curve-fitting method to generates a smooth cam profile curve function. Smooth motion trajectory of master actuator guarantees the good performance of slave motion and has an important effect on the interpolation quality of ECAM. The auto-tuning PID velocity controller was applied to overcome the uncertainties in ECAM, and the gains of the controller are updated continuously to ensure the consistency of system performance under varying working conditions. The robustness of system against the varying load torque disturbances and noises is guaranteed by using the load torque disturbance observer to suppress the disturbance on master actuator. The velocity compensator was applied to compensate the degradation of performance of slave motion caused from the varying driving speed of master motion. The stability and validity of the proposed ECAM control system was verified by simulation results.

Recognition of Radar Emitter Signals Based on SVD and AF Main Ridge Slice

  • Recognition of radar emitter signals is one of core elements in radar reconnaissance systems. A novel method based on singular value decomposition (SVD) and the main ridge slice of ambiguity function (AF) is presented for attaining a higher correct recognition rate of radar emitter signals in case of low signal-to-noise ratio. This method calculates the AF of the sorted signal and ascertains the main ridge slice envelope. To improve the recognition performance, SVD is employed to eliminate the influence of noise on the main ridge slice envelope. The rotation angle and symmetric Holder coefficients of the main ridge slice envelope are extracted as the elements of the feature vector. And kernel fuzzy c-means clustering is adopted to analyze the feature vector and classify different types of radar signals. Simulation results indicate that the feature vector extracted by the proposed method has satisfactory aggregation within class, separability between classes, and stability. Compared to existing methods, the proposed feature recognition method can achieve a higher correct recognition rate.

  • Given a certain target point, the mobile robot's navigation could be mainly considered about two areas, 'how fast and accurate' and 'how safe'. Such problems regarding the velocity and stability possess close relationship with the path in which the mobile robot navigates in. Thus, the system proposed in this research paper was constructed so the mobile robot can obtain the optimum path by utilizing the information according to the environmental map, based on the Global Path Planning. Also by inducing the Local Path Planning method, it was constructed so that the robots can avoid the obstacles, which were not shown in the environmental map on-line. Particularly, by fusing the Local and Global Path Planning together, it is possible for the robots to plan similar path. At the same time, the focus was on the materialization of effective mobile robot's navigation. It was made possible by utilizing the Fuzzy Logic Control. Also, the validity of the algorithm proposed was proven through the trial experiment.

스마트 스페이스 구축을 위한 강인 지능형 디지털 제어기 개발 (Development of Robust Intelligent Digital Controller for Smart Space)

  • 본 논문에서는 강인 디지털 제어기를 통한 스마트 스페이스의 안정도에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 제안된 제어기 설계 방법은 지능형 디지털 재 설계 기법을 적용하는 것이다. 좀 더 구체적으로, 불확실성 및 비선형성이 포함된 아날로그 시스템을 Takagi-Sugeno 퍼지 모델을 사용하여 나타낸다. 그리고 전역적 지능형 디지털 재 설계를 위하여 해당 문제를 볼록 최적화 관점으로 변환 한 후, 에러가 가질 수 있는 놈의 영역을 최소화하여 상태 정합을 이루고자 하였다. 전역적 접근을 통해 정리된 식은 선형 행렬 부등식으로 나타나게 된다. 마지막으로, 설계된 제어기를 HVAC (Heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) 시스템에 적용함으로써 효율성을 입증하고자 한다.

A novel grey TMD control for structures subjected to earthquakes

  • A model for calculating structure interacted mechanics is proposed. A structural interaction model and controller design based on tuned mass damping (TMD) was developed to control the induced vibration. A key point is to introduce a new analytical model to evaluate the properties of the TMD that recognizes the motion-dependent nonlinear response observed in the simulations. Aiming at the problem of increased current harmonics and low efficiency of permanent magnet synchronous motors for electric vehicles due to dead time effect, a dead time compensation method based on neural network filter and current polarity detection is proposed. Firstly, the DC components and the higher harmonic components of the motor currents are obtained by virtue of what the neural network filters and the extracted harmonic currents are adjusted to the required compensation voltages by virtue of what the neural network filters. Then, the extracted DC components are used for current polarity dead time compensation control to avert the false compensation when currents approach zero. The neural network filter method extracts the required compensation voltages from the speed component and the current polarity detection compensation method obtains the required compensation voltages by discriminating the current polarity. The combination of the two methods can more precisely compensate the dead time effect of the control system to improve the control performance. Furthermore, based on the relaxed method, the intelligent approach of stability criterion can be regulated appropriately and the artificial TMD was found to be effective in reducing cross-wind vibrations.

대규모 노천광 연약암반 사면에서의 GPS 계측과 위험도평가에 의한 파괴예측 (Failure Prediction for Weak Rock Slopes in a Large Open-pit Mine by GPS Measurements and Assessment of Landslide Susceptibility)

  • 노천광산에서 사면설계는 안정성과 경제성 측면에서 동시에 접근하여 결정해야 한다. 따라서 일반 사면과 달리 대부분 보강 없이 굴착해야 하기 때문에 사면의 경사가 가장 중요한 설계 변수이다. 본 연구에서는 인도네시아 파시르(Pasir)에 위치한 노천채광방식의 대규모 석탄광산 사면에 대하여 GPS에 의한 변위계측 및 해석을 수행하였다. 파괴시기를 예측하기 위해 계측자료에 대한 역변위속도 분석결과가 현장사면의 사례와 잘 일치하였으며, 이와 같이 불안정한 사면의 파괴시기를 대략적으로 예측할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한 퍼지이론과 계층분석절차 기법을 접목하여 대규모 석탄 노천광산의 상대적 사면붕괴 위험도를 평가할 수 있는 GIS 분석모델을 제시하였다. 분석모델은 7개의 영향인자들(사면의 각도, 사면 높이, 지표수 영향, 굴착계획, 인장균열, 단층, 배후 저수지)을 동시에 고려하여 채굴적 연약사면의 상대적 붕괴 위험도를 평가할 수 있었다. 따라서 변위계측에 의한 사면파괴시점 예측과 사면붕괴 위험도 평가기법을 동시에 수행한다면 예측시기 및 파괴지점에 대한 정밀도를 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

자기부상시스템에서 레일 이음매 통과시 공극 처리방법 (Air-gap Signal Treatment at rail-joint in Maglev System)

  • Maglev using EMS becomes unstable by unexpected big air-gap disturbance. The main causes of the unexpected air-gap disturbance are step-wise rail joint and large distance between rail splices. For the stable operation of the Maglev, the conventional system uses the threshold method, which selects one gap sensor among two gap sensors installed on the magnet to read the gap between magnet and guide rail. But the threshold method with a wide bandwidth makes the discontinuous air-gap signal at the rail joints because of the offset in air gap sensors and/or the step-wise rail joins. Further more, in the case of the one with a narrow bend-width, it makes Maglev system unstable because of frequent alternation. In this paper, a new method using fuzzy rule to reduce air-gap disturbances proposed to improve the stability of Maglev system. It treats the air-gap signal from dual gap sensors effectively to make continuous signal without air gap disturbance. Simulation and experiment results proved that the proposed scheme was effective to reduce air-gap disturbance from dual gap sensors in rail joints.

러프 엔트로피를 이용한 범주형 데이터의 클러스터링 (lustering of Categorical Data using Rough Entropy)

  • 객체를 분류하기 위하여 유사한 특징을 기반으로 하는 다양한 클러스터해석은 데이터 마이닝에서 필수적이다. 그러나 많은 데이터베이스에 포함되어 있는 범주형 데이터의 경우에 기존의 분할접근방법은 객체간의 불확실성을 처리하는데 한계가 있다. 범주형 데이터의 분할과정에서 식별불가능에 의한 동치류의 불확실성에 대한 접근논리가 러프집합의 대수학적인 논리에만 국한되어서 알고리즘의 안정성과 효율성이 떨어지는 요인으로 작용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 범주형 데이터에 존재하는 속성의 의존도를 고려하기 위하여 정보이론적인 척도를 기반으로 러프엔트로피를 정의하고 MMMR이라는 알고리즘을 제안하여 분할속성을 추출한다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 분석하고 비교하기 위하여 K-means, 퍼지에 의한 방법과 표준편차를 이용한 기존의 방법과 비교우위를 ZOO데이터에 국한하여 알아본다. ZOO데이터를 이용하여 기존의 범주형 알고리즘과의 비교우위를 살펴보고 제안된 알고리즘의 효율성을 검증한다.

LNG 냉열을 활용한 인천항 냉동·냉장 클러스터 입주요인 분석 및 활성화 방안 연구 (An analysis of the Factors of Moving in and Activation Strategies for Incheon Cold-Chain Cluster using LNG cold energy)

  • 냉동 냉장창고의 집적단지인 '콜드체인 클러스터' 구축이 물류업계의 현안으로 급부상하고 있다. 인천항만공사는 한국가스공사와 협력하여 송도 LNG 인수기지에서 발생하는 냉열 에너지를 이용한 냉동 냉장 클러스터를 구축하기 위한 사업을 진행 중에 있다. 본 연구에서는 CFPR 방법론을 활용하여 냉동 냉장 클러스터 활성화 방안을 제시하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 분석결과, 상위요인에서는 안정성과 수익성 요인이 0.281로 가장 중요시 되는 요인으로 파악되었다. 세부요인으로는 지속가능한 물동량 확보가 가장 높게 나타났고, 임대료 수준, LNG 냉열 활용기술의 지속 가능성과 일반 냉동 냉장창고와의 경쟁, 시설 중복투자 배제 등의 순으로 중요도가 평가 되었다. 향후 연구에서는 활성화 요인을 활용하여 국내 지역별 냉동냉장클러스터를 평가할 필요가 있다.

비행 전구간 유도제어 HILS 기법을 적용한 구동제어 알고리즘 성능 평가 연구 (Performance Evaluation for Several Control Algorithms of the Actuating System Using G/C HILS Technique)

  • This paper describes the whole development phase for the underwater vehicle actuating system with high hydroload torque disturbance. This includes requirement analysis, system modeling, control algorithm design, real time implementation, test and performance evaluations. As for driving control algorithms, fuzzy logic, variable structure and PD(Proportional-Differential) algorithm were designed and implemented on board controller using a single chip microprocessor. Intel 8797. And test and performance evaluation is carried out both single test and wystem integration test. We could confirm the basic performance of actuating system through the single test and gereral developing work of any actuating systems was finished with a single performance test of actuating system without system integration test. But, we suggested that system integration test be needed. System integration test is carried out using G/C HILS(Guidance and Control Hardware-In-the -Loop Simulation) which is constituted flight motion simulator, load simulator, real time host computer and the related subsystems such as inertial navigation system, power supply system and Guidance and Control Computer etc.. The most important practical contribution of this paper is that full system characteristics such as minimal control effort, enhancement of guidance and autopilot performance by the actuating system using G/C HILS technique are investigated. Through full running G/C HILS, in spite of the passing to single tests, some control algorithm resulted in failure as to stability of full system and system time frame.
