Fuzzy C-means 클러스터링 기법을 이용한 콘 관입 데이터의 해석 (Analysis of Cone Penetration Data Using Fuzzy C-means Clustering)

  • Methods of fuzzy C-means have been used to characterize geotechnical information from static cone penetration data. As contrary with traditional classification methods such as Robertson classification chart, the FCM expresses classes not conclusiveness but fuzzy. The results show that the FCM is useful to characterize ground information that can not be easily found by using normal classification chart. But optimal number of classes may not be easily defined. So, the optimal number of classes should be determined considering not only technical measures but engineering aspects.

  • The transmission network clustering using a fuzzy entropy function are proposed in this paper. We can define a similarity measure through a fuzzy entropy. All node in the transmission network system has its own values indicating the physical characteristics of that system and the similarity measure in this paper is defined through the system-wide characteristic values at each node. However, to tackle the geometric mis-clustering problem, that is, to avoid the clustering of geometrically distant locations with similar measures, the locational informations are properly considered and incorporated in the proposed similarity measure. In this paper, a new regional clustering measure for the transmission network system is proposed and proved. The proposed measure is verified through IEEE 39 bus system.

  • 강화학습(reinforcement learning)은 온라인으로 환경(environment)과 상호작용 하는 과정을 통하여 목표를 이루기 위한 전략을 학습한다. 강화학습의 기본적인 알고리즘인 Q-learning의 학습 속도를 가속하기 위해서, 거대한 상태공간 문제(curse of dimensionality)를 해결할 수 있고 강화학습의 특성에 적합한 함수 근사 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 개선하기 위해서, 온라인 퍼지 클러스터링(online fuzzy clustering)을 기반으로 한 Fuzzy Q-Map을 제안한다. Fuzzy Q-Map은 온라인 학습이 가능하고 환경의 불확실성을 표현할 수 있는 강화학습에 적합한 함수근사방법이다. Fuzzy Q-Map을 마운틴 카 문제에 적용하여 보았고, 학습 초기에 학습 속도가 가속됨을 보였다.

  • In this paper, we introduce a genetic optimization of fuzzy set-fuzzy model using successive tuning method to carry out the model identification of complex and nonlinear systems. To identity we use genetic alrogithrt1 (GA) sand C-Means clustering. GA is used for determination the number of input, the seleced input variables, the number of membership function, and the conclusion inference type. Information Granules (IG) with the aid of C-Means clustering algorithm help determine the initial paramters of fuzzy model such as the initial apexes of the, membership functions in the premise part and the initial values of polyminial functions in the consequence part of the fuzzy rules. The overall design arises as a hybrid structural and parametric optimization. Genetic algorithms and C-Means clustering are used to generate the structurally as well as parametrically optimized fuzzy model. To identify the structure and estimate parameters of the fuzzy model we introduce the successive tuning method with variant generation-based evolution by means of GA. Numerical example is included to evaluate the performance of the proposed model.

GA 기반 TSK 퍼지 분류기의 설계와 응용 (A Design of GA-based TSK Fuzzy Classifier and Its Application)

  • 본 논문은 주성분분석기법, 퍼지 클러스터링, ANFIS(Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System)와 하이브리드 GA(Hybrid Genetic Algorithm)를 이용하여 GA 기반 TSK(Takagi-Sugeno-Kang) 퍼지 분류기를 제안한다. 먼저 구조동정은 주성분분석기법을 이용하여 데이터 성분간의 상관관계가 제거하도록 입력데이터를 변환하고, FCM(Fuzzy c-means) 클러스터링과 ANFIS의 융합을 통해 초기 TSK 퍼지 분류기를 구축한다. 구축된 초기 분류기의 파라미터를 초기집단으로 발생시켜 AGA(Adaptive GA)와 RLSE(Recursive Least Square Estimate)에 의해 파라미터 동정을 수행한다. 이렇게 함으로서 퍼지 클러스터링의 효율적인 입력공간분할로 ANFIS의 문제점을 해결할 수 있고, AGA에 의해 집단의 다양성 유지와 전역적인 최적해의 수렴을 가속화할 수 있다. 마지막으로, 제안된 방법은 Iris 데이터 분류문제에 적용하여 이전의 다른 논문에 비해 좋은 성능을 보임을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents a PI controller tuning method for high performance permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives under load variations using clustering fuzzy algorithm. In many speed tracking control systems PI controller has been used due to its simple structure and easy of design. PI controller, however, suffers from the electrical machine parameter variations and disturbances. In order to improve the tracking control performance under load variations, the PI controller parameters are modified during operation by clustering fuzzy method. This method based on optimal fuzzy logic system has simple structure and computational simplicity. It needs only sample data which is obtained by optimal controller off-line. As the sample data implemented in the adaptive fuzzy system can be modified or extended, a flexible control system can be obtained Simulation results show the usefulness of the proposed controller.

  • An image segmentation approach based on the fuzzy worm searching and MIN-MAx clusterng algorithm is proposed in this paper. This algorithm deals with fuzzy worm value and min-max node at a gross scene level, which investigates the edge information including fuzzy worm action. But current segmentation methods based edge extraction methods generally need the mask information for the algebraic model, and take long run times at mask operation, wheras the proposed algorithm has single operation ccording to active searching of fuzzy worms. In addition, we also genetic min-max clustering using genetic algorithm to complete clustering and fuzyz searching on grey-histogram of image for the optimum solution, which can automatically determine the size of rnages and has both strong robust and speedy calculation. The simulation results showed that the proposed algorithm adaptively divided the quantized images in histogram region and performed single searching methods, significantly alleviating the increase of the computational load and the memory requirements.

  • Autoencoder와 Fuzzy c-Means 알고리즘을 이용하여, 불완전한 데이터의 군집화를 위한 알고리즘이 본 논문에서 제안되었다. 본 논문에서 제안된 Optimal Completion Autoencoder Fuzzy c-Means (OCAEFCM)은 손상되어 불완전한 데이터의 최적 복원과 데이터의 군집화를 위해 Autoencoder Neural Network (AENN) 과 Gradient-based FCM (GBFCM)을 이용하였다. OCAEFCM 의 성능평가를 위해 IRIS 데이터와 금융기관에서 취득한 실제 데이터를 사용하였다 기존의 Optimal Completion Strategy FCM (OCSFCM)과 비교했을 때, 제안된 OCAEFCM 이 OCSFCM 보다 18%-20%의 성능 향상을 보여준다.

조건부적인 퍼지 클러스터링을 이용한 온-라인 적응 뉴로-퍼지 제어 (On-line Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Control using Conditional Fuzzy Clustering)

  • The main idea of the proposed neuro-fuzzy system is conditional clustering whose main objective is to develop clusters preserving homogeneity of the clustered patterns with regard to their similarity in the input space as well as their respective values assumed in the output space. In the proposed neuro-fuzzy system, the structure identification is used with conditional fuzzy clustering, the parameter identification carried out by the hybrid learning scheme using back-propagation and total least squares.

  • This paper proposes remotely sensed image classification method by fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm using average intra-cluster distance. The average intra-cluster distance acquires an average of the vector set belong to each cluster and proportionates to its size and density. We perform classification according to pixel's membership grade by cluster center of fuzzy c-means clustering using the mean-values of training data about each class. Fuzzy c-means algorithm considered membership degree for inter-cluster of each class. And then, we validate degree of overlap between clusters. A pixel which has a high degree of overlap applies to the maximum likelihood classification method. Finally, we decide category by comparing with fuzzy membership degree and likelihood rate. The proposed method is applied to IKONOS remote sensing satellite image for the verifying test.
