The current global spread of communal residential culture and the trend of continuing increase of newly built apartment environment are increasing the demand of home network products for each residential space and among households. The continuing advancement of ubiquitous and the introduction and development of home network system are promoting the demand for the product design. The residential culture change and the apartment interior design change are having mutual effects on the lifestyle of residents and the product design and demand new product design. Coordination with interior products, interior style and products, product and fashion design and reconstruction and fusion between the products and their element factors are the core element of this design study. Based on this, integrated design strategy and concept research and analysis were studied for the design process, and have been expressed in three dimension design through which the design functionality and the external aesthetical design can correspond to each other. It's because the aspect of the future development prospect can be predicted in detail by presenting practical design plan.

The objective of the study is to review trends of clothing export in important countries of the world and thus to know the present stage of clothing export in Korea. For the purpose, changes of export amount, competitiveness and product life cycle were analysed in the countries from the 1960's to the 1990's. The results are as following: First, on the aspect of export amount, industrialized countries lost the lead to newly industrializing countries from the 1960's. Developing countries, as China, win the lead. Second, on the competitiveness aspect, industrialized countries lost competitiveness to newly industrializing countries before the 1960's. And newly industrializing countries were outpaced by China in the export competitiveness from the early 1990's. Third, on the aspect of product life cycle, industrialized countries go first through each period of product life cycle, introduction, growth, maturity and decline, and they all, excluding Japan, sustained period of Maturity for a long time. newly industrializing countries and developing countries go orderly through each period of product life cycle after industrialized countries. As to Korea, duration of each period was short. Specially characteristics of decline period appeared partly in the early 1990's. From the results, the theory of product life cycle, helping to explain changes in production and trade in new product lines, estimated to applicable to clothing export. The phenomena, Italy, Hong Kong and America sustain high competitiveness in the world clothing market for a long time, is needed to be studied carefully. The study about strong points in their clothing industries and competitiveness drive program be to influence Korean export policy in the future.

In the current so-called age of emotion marketing, the independent form of handwriting of calligraphy is being revitalized in various fields such as advertising, book designs, film titles, posters, packages, BI, and even fashion. Thus centered on Gyeyang-gu at the city of Incheon, 100 outdoors signs that used calligraphy were chosen and we researched a reform plan that could revitalize calligraphy in outdoor signs by classifying them according to current conditions of the use of calligraphy, actual conditions of practical use, expression tools, and analyzing the use of colors. The result was trial requests not only from the formalities industry, but also the financial sector, public corporations, and several other businesses, but in order to provide not only for franchise brand logotypes manufactured by expensive experts, but also provide production of high-quality calligraphy for low costs for small private enterprises, the development of a diverse calligraphy education program, centered on the regional society, will be needed. In the midst of globalization, in order to advertise the beauty of Korean alphabet and to create our own unique street culture, a variety of tools and tactile expressions are demanded, in the future the research on the calligraphy of outdoor signs must be revitalized.

Silver (Ag) has been widely used in commercial products and medical fields since ancient times because of its antibacterial effect. It is harmless and non-toxic to the human body. For this reason, recent research has actively evaluated antimicrobial activity using silver (Ag). In this study, we investigated the inhibitory effect of a silver-based compound, silver phosphate ($Ag_3PO_4$) on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and the activation of human immunity. First, the inhibitory effect of $Ag_3PO_4$ on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus was confirmed by a growth curve and a colonyounting method. As a result, the growth inhibitory effect increased as the concentration of $Ag_3PO_4$ increased. Specifically, treatment with $5{\mu}g/mL$ of $Ag_3PO_4$ resulted in no bacteria growth, and the colony-counting method showed a remarkable inhibition. In addition, the expression of cytokine IL-8 by $Ag_3PO_4$ was examined to investigate the cellular immune system activation by $Ag_3PO_4$. After pretreatment of Staphylococcus aureus for 1 hour with $50{\mu}g/mL$ $Ag_3PO_4$, an increased IL-8 mRNA expression resulted. In cells treated with $Ag_3PO_4$, we found that the expression of IL-8 was enhanced in a time-dependent fashion compared to non-treated cells. These results indicate that $Ag_3PO_4$ induces antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and activates human immunity. These results are expected to contribute to the future study of the mechanism of silver (Ag) and silver-based compounds in relation to antibacterial activity.

The importance of IT service management to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of IT outsourcing practices or performance has been emphasized in the fields. Accordingly, several methodologies of IT service management have been adopted in a fashion. This case based research tries to analyze the effects of ITIL-based IT service management practice in a company on IT outsourcing performance. The case analysis shows that ITIL-based service management influences systems quality, information quality, and service quality in direct manner. But it does not influence systems use and systems satisfaction in a meaningful way. This study would help IT service managers construct IT service environment which improves the performance of IT outsourcing service delivery and also researchers set up research proposition in a concise way in the future.

With the growing number of people using bicycle, the number of bicycle accidents also has been increasing. It is said that bicycle accident can be reduced up to 11%~44% when riding a bicycle if LED light is used. The headlight of the bicycle makes exposure effect to the opposite side of bike rider while taillight makes exposure effect to the rear bike rider for improving safety. Bicycle safety device capable of displaying a change of direction by LED is implemented in this study in response to control button signal. This signal makes LED light which is installed in pedal and wheel of bicycle as a module type emitting or flickering during the fixed hour. Bicycle auxiliary device in pedal which is able to improve safety using LED when bikers are riding a bike at night is developed in this study. Bicycle safety device applying wireless communication technology will be expected alternative technology in the future to solve a social problem such as energy, environment, and safety.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the subjective evaluation and the characteristics of each type of maternal self-awareness. It was to provide the basic data necessary for the development of clothing that can improve the satisfaction of the body shape of pregnant women. This study was conducted with Q methodology, and was performed for pregnant women over 6 months. Analysis was done with QUANL program. The recognition types of body shape of pregnant women was analyzed as three types: thin limbs and central hemispherical abdominal body shape, under abdomen protruding body shape, and thick upper arm and central abdomen protruding body shape. The thin limbs and central hemispherical abdominal body shape were considered to be normal, with the lowest BMI index before pregnancy. And the limbs were thin and the other parts were not overweight, but recognized that only the belly came out. The under abdomen protruding body shape was overweight with the highest BMI index before pregnancy. In addition to the circumference of the chest and hips, the body was gaining weight and was perceived to have a belly drooping down. The thick upper arm and central abdomen protruding body shape recognized that the middle part of the abdomen protruded like the first type, but it was different from the first type because the upper arm was thickened. In the future study, it would be a meaningful study to compare and analyze the difference with the recognition body of this study through analyzing the actual body shape of pregnant women.

Global sourcing strategy is the one that apparel firms adopt in order to improve efficiency. Souring statesgies are not limited to the decision of sourcing country or vertical integration of sewing process Sourcing strategies include all the ecision of marketing process from the acquisition of fabric to distribution of products. The present study aims to analyze the soucing strategies of Korea apparel industry in global perspectives by applying transaction cost approach and aims to provide the implications for the future. The results are as follows ; (1) sourcing strategies in the dimension of domestic versus offshore soucing are determined by the experience in foreign business and the degree of fashionability of the product. (2) Firms tend to increase affshore soucing as they accumulate the experience in foreign business because they can decrease transaction costs as the perceived risks decrease (3) Also firms tend to source their products in foreign countries when the products are more fashionable. Brand loyalty of the product is a additional factor that increases the proportion of domestic sourcing. (4) Degree of vertical integration of sourcing is determined by the fashionability brand loyalty and the experience in foreign business. That is firms decrease the transaction costs by avoiding the investment to short life fashion products. However firms increase the control over the high reputation product by in house production. As the apparel firms tend to more marketing oriented and the national boundaries of business envrionment becomes permeable more efficient global sourcing strategies should be stablished, Besides the production costs nonproduction costs should be equallly considered in order to analyze the total costs.

Functional inner-wear being currently sold is being made without regard to the characteristics of various sports events. The purpose of this study is to identify this problem and to investigate the effect of sports taping on golf swing when wearing functional inner-wear. The subjects of this study were 8 male golfers belonging to Korea Professional Golf Association, and Launch monitor and Trackman were used to find out golf club action, ball pitch, distance, etc. There are three types of clubs: driver, wood, and iron, and the first experiment was carried out using only functional inner-wear. In the second experiment, we experimented with functional inner-wear after sports taping, and we compared and analyzed the distance depending on each experiment, the speed of the ball and the club, and the accuracy of the club face. The results of the study were as follows. As a result of driving distance, according to the presence of sports taping on functional inner-wear, there was a statistically significant difference in the driving swing and wood swing, for club and ball speed, there was a statistically significant difference only in the driving swing. Regarding the accuracy by the presence of sports taping on inner-wear, there was a statistically significant difference in the driving swing, wood swing, and iron swing. In conclusion, the sports taping in the functional inner-wear had a positive effect on golf performance improvement, and we hope that golf inner-wear these two specifications combing will be developed in the future.

Atopic dermatitis is one of the most common skin disease in children and a characteristic chronically recurrent form of dermatitis with a hereditary tendency, affecting infants and may extend to the childhood or th the adult age. Environmental factors, stress, and foodstuffs such as milk, egg may cause atopic dermatitis. Nc/Nga mice were used as an animal model for human atopic dermatitis. The divided by 4group such as normal group, BMAC group, FK506 group, MR group for this study raised in conventional conditions. To investigate effect of Chamomile German on atopic dermatitis in NC/Nga mice, the serum IgE and IgG1 level were measured while the severity degree of the skin lesion was examined by the naked eyes of two volunteers who were unaware of the treatment status. The results were the followings. 1. The score on the severity degree of skin dermatitis in FK 506 and MR group was lower than that in control group. 2. The serum IgE level in control group was higher 25% than that in normal group. 3. The serum level of IgE in FK506 and MR group compares to control group was decreased. 4. The serum IgG1 level was decreased more than 3.5 times in FK506 compared to control group while MR group had significantly less the serum IgG1 than control group. From the above results, treatment of Chamomile German oil had the effect on atopic dermatitis in NC/Nga mice. If scientific researches on aroma oil are performed in various way, aroma oil will be used to cure skin dermatitis as a alternative therapy in the future.
