Simplified fabrication method of Functional materials (기능성 재료의 간소화된 합성법)

  • Superconducting ceramics of YBaCuO was fabricated on SrTiO substrate by chemical fabrication method using fine powder of YBaCuO having diameter less than 1um. The pattern of the fabricated superconducting bulk was linear and the thickness of it can be controlled in the range of 50um. The structure of the surface of film by diffraction pattern and composition. The tape like YBaCuO bulk with width of 10mm was formed on substrate using similar method. Tape like film is expected to utilize as material of superconducting tape.

  • Perovskite niobates and tantalates have been placed on a short list of functional materials for future technologies. This article was investigated ferroelectric materials $Ag(Ta,Nb)O_3$ thick film. In this study, we have fabricated the $Ag(Ta,Nb)O_3$ thick film on the $Al_2O_3$ substrates by screen printing method. The $Ag(Ta,Nb)O_3$ thick film were fabricated by the mixed oxide method. The sintering temperature and time were 1,150$^{\circ}C$, 2 hr. The electrical properties of $Ag(Ta,Nb)O_3$ thick film were investigated at 30~100$^{\circ}C$.

  • In this research, we accomplished in order to improving color fastness of sublimation for Poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA)-iodine polarized film. The poor iodine sublimation problem has greatly improved by $O_2$ low temperature plasma treatment. We obtained the followings: (1) plasma treatment has contributed in adhesive ability via peel strength, AFM image and roughness were investigated, But the improvement in adhesive strength was not linearly proportional to the treatment time. (2) $O_2$ plasma treated PVA-iodine polarized film was good enough as to maintain the transmittance and polarization even after iodine cone. of 0.05mol/L and dipping time of 50sec. (3) $O_2$ low temperature plasma treated PVA-iodine polarized film has obtain high durability because of good adhesive strength.

  • The raw materials requiring new technology have been introduced to the market as highly functional cosmetics have been popularized recently. The doublesphere which is the new capsulation is thus born. The deublesphere is double-layered capsulation of which the primary film is the nanocapsulation of liposome and the secondary film is the visible capsulation. The main component of the primary film is lecithin and that of the secondary film is alginlcarrageenanslagarfcellulose. The doublesphere is characterized by that it is possible to keep active beautifying components stable and to improve the moisturizing effect, penetration power into the skin, roughness of the skin, etc. in view of its efficacy and effects since it is double-layered capsulation. The doublesphere-retinol is made in order to measure the stability, efficacy, and effects in the present study.

  • Polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) film is widely used in various industrial fields such as mobile phone, display pannel, notebook etc. Recently PET film attached on indium tin oxide (ITO) surface has a role of high pencil hardness, high refractive index etc. So we synthesized two types of multi-functional monomer which are epoxy modifed acrylate and unmodified acrylate type using recyclable resource like phloroglucinol, derived from trinitrotoluene. We studied the effect of multi-functional monomer's chemical structure on the various properties such as refractive index, optical transmittance, and pencil hardness. We characterized synthesized multi-functional monomer by qualitative analysis through H NMR. We observed that pencil hardness of 1,3,5-triepoxide benzene and 1,3,5-triacrylate benzene they have the range of 2~3 H at high UV dosage of 300 mW. Refractive index appeared the value of 1.54~1.57. Transmittance of all multi-functional monomers has more than 93%.

The Assessment of the Postural Control Ability of the Volleyball Players With Functional Ankle Instability Using Balance Master System

  • The present study was aimed at investigating the postural control ability of volleyball players with functional ankle instability. The subjects were 26 male volleyball players were divided into 2 groups (13 subjects with functional ankle instability and 13 subjects with ankle stability) who could evaluate Questionnaire. All the male participants were tested by a Balance Master System. This study were to measure of static balance ability, dynamic balance ability, motor function the difference between functional ankle instability group and control group. Ankle instability group and stable group in postural sway ($^{\circ}/sec$) on film surface with eye closed in modified clinical test sensory interaction on balance, and left unilateral stance with eye opened and closed were significantly different (p<.05). The ankle instability group and stable group in limit of stability were significantly different (p<.05). The ankle instability group and stable group in left/right rhythmic weight shirt were significantly different (p<.05). The ankle instability group and stable group in turn time (sec) & turn sway ($^{\circ}$) during step/quick turn and end sway ($^{\circ}/sec$) in tandem walk were significantly different (p<.05). This study showed that volleyball players with functional ankle in stability were effected postural control ability by static balance & dynamic balance ability. Further study is needed to measure various athletic with functional ankle instability for clinical application.

  • In response to the continuous changes in current consumer demands and market trends for postharvest produces, the functional application for agricultural packaging is becoming increasely significant. This paper focuses on the overview of important changes in physical and chemical status related to postharvest physiology and applications of the functional packaging materials for maintaining the freshness of fruits after harvest. During postharvest treatment and storage periods, fresh fruits undergoes the ripening process in quality attributes of the fruit such as major changes of texture, color, and flavor. Major fruit packaging technologies are concerned with correct gas permeable film and functions of ethylene removal, antimicrobial, and antifogging substances to keep the effective freshness. Application guidelines for the functional packaging in fresh produces were studied.
