본 연구는 전문 D/B의 본문 필드를 텍스트 언어학적 상부구조로 분할하고 태그를 부여함으로써 이용자의 목적이나 상황에 따라서 필요한 부분만을 검색할 수 있는 전문탐색기법의 타당성을 고찰하였다. 한 문헌은 다수의 텍스트 단위로 구성되며, 이 텍스트는 의사소통이나 인지과정의 기본 단위로써 문헌 전체를 통괄하는 상부구조에 의해 연결된다. 상부구조는 텍스트의 생성과 이해에 중요한 매개체 역할을 하며, 정보요구의 상황이나 목적과 밀접하게 관련되어 있음을 밝히고 정보검색시스템의 주요 대상인 학술문헌의 상부구조를 고찰하였다.

As people's interest about food service rises, curiosity about correct foodservice company's information is rising on own inclination and necessity than usual foodservice company. Full text search site that do to foodservice company hereupon is operated, it is becoming menu that do not fall in name of ' Eumsikjeomchatgi ' in a representative search site such as Yahoo, Empas, Hanmir and so on. But, is not beam margin battle array that these search engines find data that they want being applied perfectly in site FACE that is use up to now. Also, is looked that there is problem about practical use service and search. Because search effect of site by that investigate consumers' awareness and practical use turkey for foodservice company search site and diagnose present level, it is thing to grope improvement. This research may supply one suggestion point establishing by more effective marketing communication strategy through internet hereafter.

Flash memory has the advantages of nonvolatile, low power consumption, light weight, and high endurance. This enables the flash memory to be utilized as a storage of mobile computing device such as PMP(Portable Multimedia Player). Potable device with a mass flash memory can store various multimedia data such as video, audio, or image. Typical index systems for mobile computer are inefficient to search a form of text like lyric or title. In this paper, we propose a new text index system, named EMTEX(Embedded Text Index). EMTEX has the following salient features. First, it uses a compression algorithm for embedded system. Second, if a new insert or delete operation is executed on the base table. EMTEX updates the text index immediately. Third, EMTEX considers the characteristics of flash memory to design insert, delete, and rebuild operations on the text index. Finally, EMTEX is executed as an upper layer of DBMS. Therefore, it is independent of the underlying DBMS. We evaluate the performance of EMTEX. The Experiment results show that EMTEX can outperform th conventional index systems such as Oracle Text and FT3.

STN(The Scientific & Technical Information Network) is a fee-based, comprehensive, online search service that provides. accurate, up-to-date information from over 200 scientific, technical, business, and patent databases. STN Easy(http: //stneasy.cas.org) provides point-and-click access to 59 selected key STN databases on the web, and it gives drawings and 3-dimensional chemical structures as well as citation-abstract informations. And information searchers are now able to access full-text documents from key scientific publishers and patent offices through STN Easy via the ChemPort(http://www.chemport.org) connection.

The purpose of this study is to seek how to effectively acquire a full-text using LHI(Loca1 Holdings Information) when we search bibliographic DB. For this study, the pre-investigation of LHI within Online and CD-ROM DB was made using local and overseas literature. The questionary survey was made of librarians and users who have used CD-ROM. The finding of this study is that LHI is not very widely used in libraries, thus more study on ,LHI within Online and CD-ROM DB is required to get high quality information service.

Creating digital document by scanning paper or using a digital camera or using a computer is a daily task at every office. Digital document is increasing at high pace. The quantity of digital document is almost beyond the maximum capacity of the online storage and is destroying searching efficiency. To solve these problems, we developed a document management system(ChronoStar) by integrating various searching methods(Picture, Full-Text Related), 3D graphic and a DVD changer.
