농산부산물 기반 SOFC 열병합발전 시스템 열교환망 최적화 (Optimization of Heat Exchange Network of SOFC Cogeneration System Based on Agricultural By-products)

  • 본 연구에서는 농업 분야 에너지 자립 시스템 기술도입의 일환으로 농산부산물 기반 SOFC 열병합발전 시스템의 공정 모사 모델을 구축하고 열교환망 최적화를 진행하였다. 0.3 ton/d급 농산부산물 반탄화 연료 가스화기 실험 결과를 기반 농산부산물 SOFC 열병합발전 시스템 모델을 구축하여 4~20 kW급 SOFC 발전 용량별 열교환망 최적화를 진행하였다. 현재 시스템상에서 8 kW급 농산부산물 기반 SOFC 열병합발전 시스템이 최적으로 도출되었으며, 본 연구 결과를 기반으로 추후 상용 설비 설계 시 기초자료로 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • The Fuel cell Rubber tired Train (FRT), which is now getting the attention as the next generation vehicle with its environment-friendliness, is the transportation for smooth connections of city traffic. It is the revival of the surface-car system with its revaluation of the function and technological development. Accordingly, fixed time operation and high speed driving became possible. FRT is operated together with other vehicles on the regular drive way. While this vehicle can solve the problem of traffic congestion in the urban area, it also can be cost-effective when it is compared to the cost of subway construction. It is also designed to minimize the underground or elevated traffic lane, to introduce the new construction technology, to reduce a term of works, and to cut down the operation cost by unmanned automatic driving system. Furthermore, it is considered as the alternative measure of other transportation due to its potential for the ecological way of speed improvement and the accessability to the disabled, elderly and children by developing the vehicle with folding steps or by building the high boarding platforms. In this research, I concentrated on the user oriented interior design of the FRT to make it passenger-friendly and safe in order to maximize the utilization of the vehicle so that all users including wheelchaired, user with baby carriage, elderly and children can conveniently use this vehicle.

디퓨저 타입 레큐퍼레이터 헤더에서 유동분배에 미치는 베인의 영향 (Effect of Vanes on Flow Distribution in a Diffuser Type Recuperator Header)

  • In a SOFC/GT (solid oxide fuel cell/gas turbine) hybrid power generation system, the recuperator is an indispensible component to enhance system performance. Since the expansion ratio to the recuperator core is very large, generally, the effective header design to distribute the flow uniformly before entering the core is crucial to guarantee the required performance. In the present study, we focus on the design of a diffuser type recuperator header with a 90 degree turn inlet port. To reduce the flow separation and recirculation flows, multiple horizontal vanes are used. The number of horizontal vanes is varied from 0 to 24. The air flow velocity is measured at 40 points just behind the core outlet by using a hot wire anemometer. Then, the flow non-uniformity is evaluated from the measured flow velocity. The experimental results showed that inlet air velocity did not effect on relative flow non-uniformity. According to increasing the number of horizontal vanes, flow non-uniformity reduced about $40{\sim}50%$ than without using horizontal vanes.

  • In this study, realize voltage regulation $220Vac{\pm}10%$ or less, frequency fluctuation $60Hz{\pm}1%$ or less over the independent operation and grid-connected operation technologies for power stabilization relates to the ESS designed and manufactured in conjunction with solar installations and solar to compensate the output reduction due to the polarization of the solar module through the polarization prevention technology for preventing the optical module efficiency is lowered, in conjunction with the BMS inverter efficiency was more than 92%, more than 90% of the charging efficiency to the target. This study was designed in conjunction with the ESS solar power plants, grid-connected operation and independent operation, Peak-Cut, it can stabilize the grid via the Peak-Shifting operation

  • The micro plated heat exchangers were designed to transfer more heat/volume or mass than previous heat exchangers within the context of the design constraints specified. The increase of the surface-to-volume ratio results in an increase of the interfacial area. This enhances considerably the performance of a heat exchanger. This can be an important component in a wide range of applications fuel cell, aerospace, automotive, electronic system and home heating, etc). In this study, the performance evaluation of micro plated heat exchangers under the counter flows with straight and S-shaped channel are carried out. The pressure drop as well as inlet and outlet fluid temperature were measured at steady state under various operating conditions and the total heat transfer rate were also calculated.

  • 본 논문에서는 과도특성을 포함한 연료전지 모델을 입력전원으로 파라미터를 변화시키면서 시뮬레이션을 수행하고 DC전원 입력의 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교하여 과도특성이 부하 에너지와 공급 에너지의 불균형에 미치는 영향을 수치적으로 나타내었다. 또한, 자동차 주행패턴으로부터 부하 수요 에너지를 유도하고 연료전지 모델과 PCS 연동시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 배터리 용량의 최적설계기법을 기술한다.

  • The high pressure hydrogen gas refueling system is required for fuel cell vehicle. In this paper, a commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code, FLUENT is adopted to investigate the gas flow characteristics inside the check valve for various refueling and tank pressures. The results showed that the choking phenomena can occur for certain refueling pressures, therefore refueling processes should be divided by multiple stages. And a design method to prevent the seal departure problem which reported in CNG usages is required.

  • 본 논문에서는, 연료전지 시뮬레이터를 이용한 연료전지용 전력변환기 하드웨어 최적설계기법에 대하여 기술한다. 이를 위해 고분자 전해질 연료전지 모델링을 수행하여 시뮬레이터를 구성하고, 이상적인 직류 전압원과 연료전지 전원 인가에 따른 부스트 컨버터의 동작을 이론적으로 해석하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 이론의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 동특성이 매우 느린 용융탄산염 연료전지 (Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell, MCFC) 스택이 계통 사고 시 추가적인 UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) 없이 비상부하로 전력 공급이 가능하고, 사고 제거 후 즉시 정격전력 발전하여 계통으로 주입할 수 있는 비상부하 추종형 백업 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 MCFC 발전 시스템용 비상부하 추종형 백업 시스템은 3상 인버터로 구성된 PCS (Power Conditioning System) 출력단에 3상 PWM 컨버터를 연결한 구조이고, 비상부하 추종 및 부하량 조절이 가능한 추가적인 제어 알고리즘으로 PWM 컨버터를 제어한다. 제안된 비상부하 추종형 백업 시스템의 회로와 제어 알고리즘의 타당성을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증한다.

  • Future powertrain technologies will be developed focused on applications of eco-friendly technology for internal combustion engine, electric vehicle and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle. But it is expected that these cutting edge technologies will not be applied immediately due to lack of infrastructure, technical and economical reasons. Therefore, numerous developments of internal combustion engine will be carried out for the time being. There have been many turbo engine developments undergoing to maximize the engine performance using turbo charger system in accordance with global trend-green technology and downsizing of engine which coincides with HMC's future development strategy. This study reviews the development process and result of plastic intake manifold module which is firstly developed for turbo engine. CAE simulation and experiments were implanted to evaluate design validity.
