저속 장행정 박용디젤기관의 속도제어에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE SPEED CONTROL OF A LOW SPEED-LONG STROKE MARINE DIESEL ENGINE)

  • Speed of a diesel engine is usually controlled by the hydraulic governor which uses the centrifugal force of rotating fly balls for sensing the error speed. But for a recently developed high efficient, low speed and long stroke 2 cycle marine diesel engine, this governor doesn't work well enough because of too much changes of toraring force during one revolution of engine and too long uncontrollable time due to small numbers of cylinder. For improvement of jiggling phenomena and unstability various studies are being carried out, but they are not enough for a steep load change in a small ship's generator plant or at rough sea condition in a propulsion engine. In this paper, authors propose a new method to control a fuel before the change of angular velocity due to load change by feedforward the change of load, and find that the proposed method shows quite a good control performance in comparision to the customary PID control method by simulation using a digital computer for the various load change.

  • Depth-sensing indentation is wifely used for evaluation of mechanical properties of thin films. It is generally accepted that the most significant source of uncertainty in nanoindentation measurement is the geometry of the indenter tip. Therefore the successful application of the technique requires accurate calibration of the indenter tip geometry. The direct measurement of geometry of a Berkovich indenter was determined using a atomic force microscope. The indentation geometrical calibration of contact area was performed by analyzing the indenter tip profile. The equations of area functions were proposed for nanoscale thin films..

  • According to DEKRA (a Germany Certification and Inspection Agency)'s accident rate analysis by vehicle defect factor, as a result of analysis of the causes of accidents by flaws, it was found that braking devices accounted for 41%. Defects in the braking system are closely related to the accident, so it is very important to find faulty brking systems to ensure safety. The EU and USA uses ISO brake tester and the Korea is brake teater is first introduse in Japan for vehicle inspection and maintanance. KOTSA introduce the ISO brake tester in order to promote the advanced standardization of the inspection equipment and inspection tecnology, and examined the detection characteristics and applied it to the improvement direction of the brake tester to secure the driving safety.

  • Flexible parts comparing with rigid parts can be deformed by contact force during assembly. for successful assembly, information about their deformation as well as possible misalignment between mating parts is essential. Howecer, because of the complex relationship between parts deformation and reaction forces, it is difficult to acquire all required information from the reaction forces alone. In this paper, we measure parts deformation and misalignments by using the visual sensing system presented for flexible parts assembly. Experimental results show that the system can be effectively used for detecting parts deformation and misalignments between mating parts.

  • This paper attempts to study the evolution of the Solar System including the earth through various existing hypotheses and the occurrence of earthquakes on the earth. From the analysis of the various theories it can be inferred that the Mystery regarding evolution of Solar System is a complex problem which requires continuos research. The occurrence of the earthquake is also affected by the earth's rotation, which produces Centrifugal Force, which together with convection current causes plate displacement resulting in earthquakes. The extent of displacement varies with the size and density of the plates.

  • 휴머노이드 로봇은 기구적으로 불안정성을 내포하고 있기 때문에 이것에 대한 안정화를 하기 위해서 연구자들은 많은 방법을 사용하고 있다. 본 연구자는 실험 계획법(Design of Experiments)을 통해 본 연구자가 개발한 ISHURO-II의 발의 설계를 변경하였다. 퍼지 알고리즘을 이용하여 아랫부분에 장착된 FSR(Force Sensing Resistor)센서에서 ZMP(Zero Moment Point)의 값을 비교하여 더욱 안정된 보행이 가능하도록 하였다. 적용된 안정화 알고리즘의 성능은 VC++ 및 동역학 해석 프로그램을 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • A review of mechanical sensing techniques based on magnetic methods is presented, with special reference to magnetoelastic strain gauges and force sensors. A novel strain sensor based on soft amorphous ribbons is described. Other types of magnetic sensors, for the measurement of torque and displacement are briefly discussed. An overview of magnetic actuators based on giant magnetostrictive materials, with some practical examples, is presented. Recent advances in the development and application of magnetic shape memory materials are discussed, together with the analysis of recent studies for the description of magnetic shape memory phenomena.
