  • Early morning delivery possesses distinct characteristics that differentiate it from standard delivery services. This service typically involves delivering products to customers during the early morning hours, primarily before 7 AM. While online early morning delivery offers various advantages from a customer perspective, it also presents challenges that sellers and online shopping companies need to overcome. The early morning delivery market is experiencing significant growth in the online food retail sector, incorporating both PC-based online shopping and mobile shopping. The objective of this research is to identify the factors influencing customer satisfaction and the intention to reuse in the context of early morning delivery for online shopping. To model the online shopping environment with early morning delivery, independent factors were categorized into three types: System Properties, Product Characteristics, and Delivery Characteristics. This study examined the relationships among these three independent factors, the mediating factor of customer satisfaction, and the dependent variable of the intention to reuse. To conduct this research, empirical validation of the research hypotheses was carried out using the final dataset for analysis. Within this study, the previously explored System Properties, Product Characteristics, and Delivery Characteristics were established. Summarizing the findings of the analysis, it was discovered that System Properties and Product Characteristics played a significant role in determining the quality of early morning delivery services for online shopping. While product diversity and convenience had a positive impact, it is noteworthy that Delivery Characteristics did not influence customer satisfaction. Consequently, it can be concluded that there is no effect on the intention to reuse.

  • The study tested the old wines of Château Latour 1953 and tried to analyze the differences from the old wines. Even if not the great vintage, the quality change of old wine gives a new flavor, so it requires analysis results from empirical concepts, decanting, and testing. Based on the analysis results, the government wanted to re-evaluate the old wine and give consumers joy and implications for the wine. The wine to be studied is Château Latour 1953 and is an old wine from the French province of Pauillac. Wine blending is known to be 75% of cabernet sauvignon, 20% of melot, 4% of cabernet franc and 1% of petit verdot. The alcohol level is 13% and the test date is July 2-7, 2018(decanting period 5.4 days/15:00 p.m. on July 7). The testing site was a wine cafe in Daegu City, and the tester consisted of one FICB Korean grand commander and one KOV Finland commander and selected Japchae of Korean food as a mariage. The ullage of Chateau Latour 1953 was 3.0cm and was set up for one month for testing. Decanting time was applied to the calculation formula 2018(current year)-1953(vintage year)/12=5.4 days, which was investigated in this study. Aroma smelled of cork, old grapes, tobacco, leaves and leather, the bouquet was identified in five stages, and the testing was analyzed in seven stages.

  • Perilla plant is a special crop that is used as oilseed and food in Korea. Root lesion nematodes have caused great damage to perilla plants, so for effective management of root lesion nematodes, it is necessary to understand their ecology in perilla. In this study, we investigated the effect of temperature in the development of Pratylenchus penetrans (Pp) and Pratylenchus vulnus (Pv) when the nematodes infected the perilla plant. To estimate the effect of temperature, we assessed the reproduction factor (RF); final population/initial population(Pf/Pi) of these two nematode species. We used perilla plants as inoculated hosts and investigated the density of nematodes at 10 weeks after inoculation. As a result, the RF of Pp was highest at 20℃ (0.41 (1st test), 2.2 (2nd test)) followed by 25, 30, and 15℃. The RF of Pv was highest at 30℃(9.84 (1st test), 31.39 (2nd test)), followed by 25, 20, and 15℃. Comparing the RF by temperature between Pp and Pv, Pv was higher than Pp at all temperatures used in the test. This study showed the optimal development temperature of Pp was 20-25℃ and Pv was 30℃, respectively.

  • Construction of a blockchain network needs a cumbersome and time consuming activity. To overcome these limitations, global IT companies such as Microsoft are providing cloud-based blockchain services. In this paper, we propose a blockchain-based construction and management tool that enables blockchain developers, blockchain operators, and enterprises to deploy blockchain more comfortably in their infrastructure. This tool is implemented using Hyperledger Fabric, one of the famous private blockchain platforms, and Ansible, an open-source IT automation engine that supports network-wide deployment. Instead of complex and repetitive text commands, the tool provides a user-friendly web dashboard interface that allows users to seamlessly set up, deploy and interact with a blockchain network. With this proposed solution, blockchain developers, operators, and blockchain researchers can more easily build blockchain infrastructure, saving time and cost. To verify the usefulness and convenience of the proposed tool, a blockchain network that conducts electronic voting was built and tested. The construction of a blockchain network, which consists of writing more than 10 setting files and executing commands over hundreds of lines, can be replaced with simple input and click operations in the graphical user interface, saving user convenience and time. The proposed blockchain tool will be used to build trust data infrastructure in various fields such as food safety supply chain construction in the future.

  • This study explored the effect of corporate field teacher and corporate education satisfaction on apprenticeship education satisfaction and student job competency development focusing on NCS job standards and industry-academia-integrated apprenticeship school project group. As a result of the study, satisfaction with corporate field teachers in the electrical, electronic, and food service sectors was found to have a positive influence on improving students' job competency, while satisfaction with corporate education was important in the management, accounting, office, and information and communication sectors. In the analysis by type of project group, the satisfaction of corporate field teachers in the joint practice type and industry-led type had a strong influence on improving job competency, but in the base school type and single school type, corporate education satisfaction had a greater influence on capacity improvement. Therefore, it is necessary to redefine the competencies of corporate field teachers and to establish and implement an industry-academic integrated apprenticeship school operation plan with the relationship between the type of project group and NCS job standard classification.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify how to efficiently integrate long-term care facilities into geriatric hospitals. We conducted a survey on the current operations of facilities and medical services of 2009 of 192 long-term facilities and 168 geriatric hospitals in Korea between October and November. Technical statistics and chi-square test were conducted on the collected data using the SPSS 13.0/Win program. There was a difference between the two facility types in terms of the co-payment levels of the food services. Both types selected the budget deficit as their major management problem. Ease of access and the surrounding environment were critical factors used to select the location of both types of facilities. Facility users benefited from the discounted co-payments of both facility types. However, facility users wanted more frequent visits and support from their family members during their stay at the facilities. It was discovered that users in the long-term care facilities stayed longer, that is until they died, compared to their counterparts in geriatric hospitals. The two types of facilities provided their services totally separately to users. Users of the two types of facilities are poorly supported and cared for by their families. This study suggests that setting reasonable service fees, paying caretakers, introducing an integrated facility, strengthening facility assessment standards, introducing the family doctor system, and introducing the handling of long-term care insurance by geriatric hospitals would allow the integration between long- term care facilities and geriatric hospitals to be beneficial.

  • This study analyzed the disturbance process of river wetlands based on modern and contemporary maps and aerial photographs, and analyzed land cover and NDVI changes in the hydro-ecological impact zone around the Wangjin District. A stable sandbar was formed near Wangjinnaru and was naturally connected to the agricultural land within inland, but after the sandbar and river wetland were destroyed due to heavy floods, embankment construction, land readjustment, and comprehensive river management, artificial replaced wetlands and ecological parks were created, and sandbars in the form of river island were restored again. The change in land cover in the hydro-ecological impact zone showed that rice paddies and fields in agricultural areas decreased from 36.3% in 2013 to 22.9% in 2022, with the largest change in area to 814,476m2. It was confirmed that the land cover was undergoing vegetation over time. Since the vegetation condition is good, a healthy food chain is formed in the waterfront ecosystem, which can be expected to be biodiversity-positive. Summarizing seasonal changes in the vegetation index, the overall change in the vegetation index was the largest in spring (March), followed by summer (June), and the change in autumn (September) was the smallest except for water. By land use, the overall vegetation index (NDVI) increased, including 39.1% improvement in alternative wetlands, 38.2% improvement in load, 44.3% improvement in ecological parks, 35.6% improvement in agricultural areas, and -8.1% decrease in water.

  • Objectives : This study aimed to determine the status of thermal stimulation devices approved in Korea for medical applications over the past 10 years, and based on this, to obtain insight for future thermal treatment in Korean medical institutions. Methods : We searched the item classification list entitled "Regulations on Medical Device Items and Rating by Item" from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety Notice No. 2021-24, 2021 (Enforced March 19, 2021; www.mfds.go.kr) for individually licensed heaters using the terms "heat" and "heating". Results : We identified 17 items of thermal stimulation product group, of which 1,308 devices were licensed by February 4, 2022, and 53.2% of them (n=696) were devices with valid permits for distribution in Korea. Among the licensed devices, heating pad systems under/overlay (electric, home use) were approved the most, but combinational stimulator (for medical use, home use; Grade 2) accounted for the highest percentage among the current valid permission. Moxibustion apparatuses were licensed separately for electrical use and non-electrical use, and occupied a low percentage of the total devices. We analyzed 307 devices that were accompanied by technical documents and found that the heat sources were wires in 145 (47.2%), infrared rays in 44 (14.3%) and ultrasonic waves in 42 (13.7%) devices. Most (83.1%) devices were used for pain relief, while other applications included beauty, cancer treatment, maintenance of infant body temperature, and healing fractures. Conclusions : Thermal stimulation devices accounted for about 0.9% of all medical devices, and among them, combinational stimulators and heating pad systems under/overlay had the most valid permits. Thermal stimulation devices using heating wires and infrared rays were the most prevalent, and most were used to relieve pain. In order to develop a range of thermal stimulation devices that can be utilized in Korean medical institutions, it is imperative that they have potential applications beyond pain management, addressing various medical purposes. To achieve this, foundational research is necessary to effectively apply diverse heat sources based on medical objectives.
