무궁화 객차 HVAC 열유동 특성 해석 (Numerical Analysis on HVAC Characteristics of Mugunghwa Passenger Car)

  • Numerical simulation is conducted to clarify the heat transfer and fluid flow characteristics of HVAC(Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning) for Mugunghwa passenger car. The HVAC system is installed under the floor of carbody. This new HVAC system has a lot of merits in respect of the center of gravity of carbody, flow induced noise and reduction of condensation water etc. The standard k-epsilon turbulent model and SIMPLEC algorithm based on finite volume method are used to solve the physical HVAC model. To assure convergence, QUICK scheme for momentum equation and the first order upwind scheme for turbulent equations are used. From the results of simulation, the temperature and velocity magnitude are also distributed uniformly in the interior of car.

  • In recent days, it is usual case to extend the dwelling area to the balcony which is provided by service area. But the use of the extended area can be arisen discomfort with a view point of thermal environment by excessive heat accumulation in summer and excessive cold draft in winter. In this study, the skills were reviewed to improve the thermal environment of the extended area and evaluations were carried out. Additional heat supply by heat-convector installed at the lower end of the curtain wall can improve the thermal environment of the extended area and also arise surface temperature of the curtain wall surface. And aluminum plate installed under the floor could not improve the thermal environment but it was effective to shortening the initial heating time.

  • This study aims at examinating the change of architectural technique in the residential district of Seoktanri(石灘里), and then extracting the restorable types from it. The constructive technique was advanced in the composition of walls and the use of footing. The arrangement of columns was developed to standing them in a row and three rows in the center of interior space. In the light of excavated relics and the position of furnace, the interior space is seperated into cooking-heating, working and storing space. By the difference of height and the slope, the floor is divided into two parts which are low and high. According to the arrangement of column-holes, the types of roofs to be restored are as follows; the gable roof without column-hole, the hipped roof with center-column-holes(中央柱孔) in a row and the gable roof with center-column-holes in three rows.

바닥난방의 쾌적한 온열환경조건에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimum Thermal Environmental Conditions in floor Heating)

  • 지금까지 연구해 온 바닥난방이 인체에 미치는 생리적, 심리적 영향에 관한 실험결과를 종합하여(건강한 여자를 피험자로 한 경우) 바닥난방의 Optimum Thermal Environmental Conditions 를 검토할 때는 다음의 조건을 만족시켜야 한다. (1) 저온 화상의 위험성을 고려하여 접촉부위의 피부온도가 $40^{\circ}C$를 넘지 않을 것. (2) 생리적 영향으로써 평균 피부온도가 $33{\;}-{\;}34^{\circ}C$의 범위일 것. (3) 심리적 영향으로써 온냉감 평가가 열적중성(slightly cool - slightly warm)으로 평가하고, 쾌적감 평가가 쾌적한 것으로 평가할 것. (4) 바닥온도에 대한 만족감 평가가 높을 것. (5) 흑구온도는 직접바닥에 앉는 자세에서는 $17^{\circ}C$ 이상, 의자에 앉는 자세에서는 $19^{\circ}C$ 이상일 것. 이상의 조건을 만족시키는 범위가 바닥난방의 Optimum Thermal Environmental Zone (Fig.7) 이라고 생각된다.

  • This study, as a case study of four university dormitories in Gwangju, examined the situation of interior space and conducted a quantitative survey investigating importance about the interior space and assessment factors of residential environment on users. Then user satisfaction at the assessment factors of residential environment was analyzed to draw problems and explore improvement. The results showed the following problems that should be resolved: Bedrooms should increase the area of convex space; toilets and bathrooms should be changed into a cluster type at least in common use by floor; rest space should reinforce heating and cooling system; robby space should become mixed space for various user's behavior; private fitness rooms should be planned as group fitness space; private libraries should reinforce lighting facilities; and computer rooms should complement and improve HVAC.

The HVAC system is installed under the roof of carbody. In the lay-out of HVAC system, air duct must be installed to supply air to 1st and 2nd floor respectively. The standard k-epsilon turbulent models and SIMPLEC algorithm based on finite volume method are used to solve the physical HVAC model. To assure convergence, QUICK scheme for momentum equation and the first order upwind scheme for turbulent equations are used. From the results of simulation, the temperature and velocity magnitude are also distributed uniformly in the interior of passenger car.

옥상녹화 평지붕의 표면온도 저감효과에 대한 고찰 (A Consideration On The Surface Temperature Reducing Effect Of Green Roof System Flat Roof)

  • This study analyzed the measured value came out by the field test to verify the surface temperature reduction of the flat roof due to green roof, and confirmed the influence of the green roof based on it, and assessed the possibility of saving structures' energy and reducing $CO_2$ emission of structures. For the actual measurement, the differences of the average atmospheric temperature of the green roof and non-green roof flat roof were $8.67^{\circ}C$ and $0.787^{\circ}C$, and the average floor temperature gaps were $11^{\circ}C$ and $2.008^{\circ}C$ in October and November respectively. It was expected that if it's measured on around summer solstice that the temperature gets higher, the deviation of the surface temperature should be bigger, and it was confirmed that the green roof eventually raises insulating effect of structures and will influence on cooling and heating effects such as energy saving and insulating.

  • AU(A plus U-shaped) composite beam was developed for reducing the story height in the residential buildings, and saving the cosrtuction cost of floor structures. Structural performance and economic feasibility of the composite beam have been sufficiently approved through the structural experiments and the analytical studies. Fire safety for the practical application of the composite beam has also been verified through the fire resistance tests and the heat transfer analyses. In this study 2-points bending tests were performed on the four specimens already tested for fire resistance to evaluate the residual bending strength of AU composite beam after fire accident. The same bending test was performed on the one fresh specimen having the same section and span of the specimens for practically comparative study.

  • The higher the addition rate, the less difference in kneading was found. This is because most of the cases are mixed with vinyl gloves by hand when immediately mixed in the field, so there is no problem of mixing dough according to the amount of addition. The mean increase temperature for 20 minutes was 31.6℃ for Plain, 38.1℃ for Al, 33.7℃ for Cu, and 5~7℃ for Al 20% added sample, 38.1℃ for Al 20% added sample, but 36.6℃ for Al 5% added sample. This suggests that it is possible to improve its own heat transferability by adding metal powder to epoxy adhesives.
