전통주택 실내구성요소의 현대적 계승사례에 관한연구 -월간잡지에 나타난 주거공간을 중심으로- (A study on the Adaptation of Traditional Interior Elements in Modern House)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate actual condition of the modern adaptation of interior elements (wall floor ceiling door & window) in traditional house. The examined objects were 316 pictures of residential interior spaces from the 5 different monthly magazines between Jan. 1993 to Dec. 1997 The results of this study were as follows; 1. Mostly they were either parital adaptation from the original or partially transformed adaptation rather than entire adaptation of the original 2. Of the traditional interior elements adapted in residential space only specific elements were being adapted. For example. partial adaptation from the original were oiled paper flooring(Jangpan) rice papered wall (Hanji) a ceiling finish that left the rafters and beams exposed (Yondunt-chonjang) and window or door frame which is vertical lattices accented with horizontal lattices grouped into three sections(Ttisal-mun)And partially transformed adaptation were wood flooring(Chang-maru) rice apered wall(Hanji) Yondung-chonjang wind or door frame of Wan character(Wanja-mum) 3. In regard to space the mostly adapted spaces were bedrooms rather than living or dining rooms.

  • The higher the addition rate, the less difference in kneading was found. This is because most of the cases are mixed with vinyl gloves by hand when immediately mixed in the field, so there is no problem of mixing dough according to the amount of addition. The mean increase temperature for 20 minutes was 31.6℃ for Plain, 38.1℃ for Al, 33.7℃ for Cu, and 5~7℃ for Al 20% added sample, 38.1℃ for Al 20% added sample, but 36.6℃ for Al 5% added sample. This suggests that it is possible to improve its own heat transferability by adding metal powder to epoxy adhesives.

장애인이 거주하는 주택의 욕실 개조에 관한 연구 - 인천시 욕실 개조 사례 17개를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Remodeling of Residential Bathrooms for the Disabled - Based on 17 cases of residential bathroom remodeling in Incheon City -)

  • The bathroom is a space where humans fulfil certain daily needs, but for the disabled, it can be the most difficult space to use and may even be a cause of accidents and a source of danger. Previous studies on the bathroom have mostly proposed an ideal model of bathroom, but the majority of disabled people live in small homes of about $50m^2$ in size. As their bathrooms are usually very small, and existing houses have various structural limitations, more research should be conducted on the remodeling of residential bathrooms. This study analyzed a number of remodeling items in bathrooms, all of which were listed in previous studies. Based on 17 cases of residential bathroom remodeling in the homes of disabled people residing in Incheon in 2009, this study analyzed several remodeling items required according to the subject's characteristics, such as a lifestyle, gender, and family composition; and proposed the following remodeling requirements and improvement measures for ambulatory-disabled persons and sedentary-disabled people. First, as ambulatory-disabled people have lower-limb impairments, they required bathroom remodeling designed to improve their mobility in the bathroom. These subjects desired the installation of grab bars, as well as the elimination of floor level differences, the installation of non-slip flooring, a counter-top, a sink stand, and a shower holder whose height can be adjusted. Second, sedentary-disabled people move around in a sitting or crawling position, so many of them asked to eliminate floor level differences and vertically-installed bathroom furnishings. Basically, both people with ambulatory disabilities and people with non-ambulatory impairments requested the elimination of floor level differences and the installation of non-slip flooring and grab bars for the toilet and bathtub. They also asked for the heights of sinks, faucets, mirrors, shower holders, and cabinets to be adjusted to suit their needs.

Heavy-impact sound insulation performance according to the changes of dry flooring structure in wall structure

  • The floor heating method generally uses a wet construction method including the installation of resilient material, lightweight foam concrete, heating piping, and finishing mortar. Such a wet construction method not only delays other internal finishing processes during curing period for two mortar pouring process, but also has a disadvantage that it is difficult to replace the floor heating layer when it deteriorated because it is integrated with the frame. Dry floor heating construction method can be a good alternative in that it can solve these defects. Conversely, when it applied to the wall structure that is vulnerable to the interlayer noise compared with the column-beam structure, the question about the heavy-impact sound(HIS) insulation performance is raised. Therefore, conventional dry floor heating method is hard to apply to the wall structure apartments. Therefore, for the purpose to improve the applicability of dry floor heating method in wall structure apartments, this study investigated the change of floor impact sound, especially HIS insulation performance which is one of the required performance for the floor structure. This study tried to examine whether the change of heavy-impact sound pressure level(SPL) shows a tendency at the significant level according to the shape and mass of the floor structure. Through filed experiments on wall structure apartment, this study confirmed that the form of the raised floor shows better HIS insulation performance than the fully-supported form. In addition, it was also confirmed that the HIS insulation performance increases with the mass on the upper part. Moreover, this study found the fact that a mass of about 30 kg/m2 or more should be placed on the upper structure to reduce the heavy-impact SPL according to the bang machine measuring method. Although this study has a limit due to insufficient experiment samples, if the accuracy of this study is increased, it will contribute to the diffusion of dry floor heating by setting the HIS insulation performance target and designing the dry floor heating structure that meets the target.

마루판용 합판의 단판 구성요소에 따른 변형 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Deflection Characteristics of Plywood for Wood Based Flooring by Veneer Composition)

  • 1980년대 중반 이후 국내 생산이 시작된 온돌마루(이하 합판마루)는 종전의 주택용 바닥재(PVC 바닥재)의 대체재로서 일반 소비자들의 폭발적인 수요를 얻어왔다. 그러나 최근 마루판 산업은 건축경기 악화 및 산업 환경의 변화로 인한 수요의 감소와 그에 따른 생산율의 저하 등의 근본적인 문제점이 있다. 최근 마루판용 합판의 원재료로 주로 사용된 동남아산 수종의 고갈 및 변화로 인한 양질의 합판원재료 확보가 어려워졌다. 이에 대한 대응책으로 중국산 유칼립투스를 원재료로 부분적으로 이용한 마루판용 합판의 대체이용이 시도되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 유칼립투스 단판을 부심판으로 제조한 복합합판의 마루판용 합판의 원재료로서의 사용 가능성을 실험을 통해 비교분석하였으며, 모든 단판이 동남아산 Meranti로 구성된 합판을 대조군으로 설정했다. 변형에 영향을 미치는 인자로 단판 간 밀도차이와 합판의 밀도경사를 이용하였다. 본 연구의 실험결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 남양재 시험편은 병판의 밀도가 다른 단판의 밀도보다 큰 M자형의 밀도경사, 유칼립투스 시험편은 반대성향의 W자형의 밀도경사를 나타내었다. 2) 종류에 따른 마루판의 변형은 마루 가공 시험편이 합판상태로 가공을 한 경우보다 최소 0.1~최대 6.25 mm 적게 나타났으며, Density Profile 측정 결과 단판 간의 밀도차가 클수록 변형이 많이 발생하였다.

건축용 바닥재로부터의 휘발성유기화합물 방출특성 (Emission Characteristics of Volatile Organic Compounds from Building Flooring Materials)

  • 에너지절감에 대한 인식이 높아짐에 따라 점차 건물이 밀폐화되고 있으며, 이로 인하여 실내공기질에 영향을 미치는 건축자재로부터의 휘발성유기화합물 방출에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러므로 실내공기질을 개선하는데 있어 건축자재로부터의 VOCs 방출특성을 파악하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라가 온돌문화인 점을 고려하여 대표적인 건축자재인 온돌마루와 접착제를 대상으로, 방출챔버시험을 통하여 온도 및 시간경과에 따른 헥산, 톨루엔 및 TVOCs 방출특성을 살펴보았다. VOCs의 방출속도는 온도와 비례관계를 나타내었으며, 바닥재에 존재하는 VOCs 발생원이 어느 위치에, 어떠한 형태로 존재하느냐가 시간의 경과에 따른 방출특성에 크게 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 건축자재로부터의 헥산, 톨루엔의 방출은 전반적으로 초기에 방출속도가 높고 시간이 지남에 따라 점차 줄어드는 경향을 보이고 있으나, 온돌마루로부터의 톨루엔 방출은 다른 양상을 보이는데 시간이 지남에 따라 방출속도가 오히려 증가하여 6시간 경과 후 최대값을 보인 뒤 점차 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 이는 온돌마루에 함유되어 있는 톨루엔 발생원이 자재의 내부에 많이 존재하고 있기 때문에 시간이 경과함에 따라 방출속도가 증가했다가 다시 감소하는 경향을 보인 것으로 추정된다. 바닥재로부터의 VOCs 방출특성 실험결과를 종합하여 살펴보면, 온돌시스템에서 방출되는 고농도의 VOCs에 인체노출을 줄이기 위해서는 이사하기 전에 적어도 72시간 이상의 Bake-out 시간이 필요할 것이라 사료된다.

니들 플레임에 의한 바닥재의 수직 연소 및 탄화 패턴의 해석에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Vertical Combustion and Carbonization Patterns of Floor Materials When Using a Needle Flame)

  • 자체 제작된 니들 플레임을 이용하여 바닥재를 수직 연소시켰을 때의 화염의 성장 특성 및 탄화 패턴을 해석하였다. PVC 장판은 난연성이 있는 것으로 확인되었고, 직사 화염을 받은 곳은 안쪽으로 수축되는 패턴을 나타냈다. 수직 연소가 진행되면 하부에 망울 형태의 고형화가 발생하며, 그을음은 상부로 성장하는 패턴이 형성된다. 강화마루는 난연성이 없는 것으로 확인되었으며, 상부 표면인 라미네이트층의 소실과 불규칙적인 박리가 형성되는 것을 알 수 있다. 좌측면과 우측면의 탄화의 범위는 대칭적 구조를 나타내는 것으로 해석된다. 강화마루와 마찬가지로 카펫은 수직 연소 실험에서 난연성이 없는 것이 확인되었다. 카펫에 축열이 형성되면 화염은 상승기류를 형성하고, 주변에 가연성 물질이 있을 때 화염의 확산은 더욱 촉진하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 직사화염을 받은 카펫 표면의 탄화 패턴은 표면이 용융되어 흘러내렸을 뿐만 아니라 작은 구멍이 다수 발생되는 것을 알 수 있다.

보육시설 실내디자인 현황과 사용자 선호성향 - 실내분위기, 마감재, 색채를 중심으로 - (Current Interior Design and User Preference for Child Care Facilities - Focused on Interior Atmosphere, Finishing Materials and Colors -)

  • As Korea has undergone rapid modernization, urbanization and industrialization, women's social participation has increased. Accordingly, child care facilities have shown continuous growth in numbers. However, according to research, child care facilities in Korea lag behind those in other nations in terms of quality. Given that, it seem urgent to enhance the quality of child care facilities and improve their indoor environment. Above all, overall atmosphere, colors and finishing materials are connected directly with educational effects as well as feelings and health of facility users. This study assesses the current state of child care facilities and preferences by focusing primarily on interior atmosphere, materials and colors. For This Study, 7 facilities were surveyed, and 46 subjects were participated for this study. The findings suggest that "pretty" style is preferred to "natural" style. As regards flooring material, wood floor is preferred. It is recommended to lay pastel colored carpet or PVC flooring material to the wood floor. As for wall, it is desirable to divide the wall spaces by adding wood and painting to simple wallpapers. In case of the ceiling noise absorptive material is recommended to use instead of wallpapers. For the doors, it is desirable to use contrasting materials and colors given accessibility for children. In the meantime, rather than strong primary colors, soft color or pastel colors are desirable for furniture. This study has limitations because of insufficiency of case study samples. However, it is significant in that the study results may be used as primary source of information to improve the environment of child care facilities.

Tribological approach for the analysis of the pedestrain slipping accident II

  • The variations of the surface topographical parameters for the analysis of the pedestrian slip and fall accidents during the sliding friction between the specially prepared floor specimens and three working shoes were investigated. The profile ordinate data for each flooring specimen were obtained at 1.1 .mu.m intervals using a laser scanning confocal microscope system along to the direction of sliding. A number of surface roughness parameters, that is, the centre line average (c.l.a.) and root mean square (r.m.s.) roughness, maximum height (Rtm), maximum mean peak height (Rpm), maximum mean depth (Rvm), and average asperity slope were calculated using a computer program and compared with the dynamic friction results. The analysis showed that the surface parameters undergo marked variations during the sliding process, but the variations were statistically significant. It was found that amongst various surface parameters, the maximum depth (Rvm) and the average asperity slope of the asperities were the biggest variation during the sliding proceeding. This result confirms the previous study and may suggests a new approach to monitoring the flooring environments with their service as the effort to reduce the pedestrain slip accident.

맞춤형 인솔이 산업체 근로자의 작업 후 신체불편지수와 통증에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Customized Insoles on the Post-Work Discomfort and Pain)

  • In many manufacturing occupations, industrial workers reported foot or lower leg problems such as discomfort, pain or orthopedic deformities. This study investigated the effects of two different working conditions upon assembly worker's perception of discomfort and foot pain associated with various body parts. Twenty-three male volunteers performed work in the factory. Ergonomic intervention has been to modify the flooring in an attempt to alleviate the problems associated with constrained standing and walking work. The worker's standing conditions consisted of standing on a hard floor while wearing shoe insoles. Questions were asked regarding body discomfort and foot pain. Significant differences in body discomfort and foot pain were found when comparing the overall effects of wearing shoe insoles on a hard floor (p<.05). This investigation indicated that shoe insoles reduced body discomfort and foot pain (p<.05).
