  • Various nondestructive prospecting method were applied to detect the flaws of concrete structure, but the satisfactory result could not be obtained, yet. Fracture and cavities existing concrete structure will have a bad effect on physical and mechanical characteristic of concrete. This study deal with detection of flaws using seismic first arrival and various inversion method in theoretical model. And ultrasonic seismic method is tried to experimental model to detect fracture and cavity.

  • With the continuous advancement in electronics technology, especially the usage of new materials and the introduction of new and immature manufacturing process, stress and time dependent types of physical, chemical and mechanical imperfections are introduced to the electronic hardware. These types of imperfections are called flaws. A reliability stress screening process(RSS) is a process which involves the application of operational and/or environmental stress to electronic hardware on a 100% basis, for the purpose of precipitating inherent, as well as process-induced, flaws while neither destroying nor degrading in a significant way the hardware being stressed.

  • In this study, we made a comparative study of backpropagation neural network and probabilistic neural network and bayesian classifier and perceptron as shape recognition algorithm of welding flaws. For this purpose, variables are applied the same to four algorithms. Here, feature variable is composed of time domain signal itself and frequency domain signal itself, Through this process, we confirmed advantages/disadvantages of four algorithms and identified application methods of few algorithms.

  • As optical connectors dominate the performance of optical transmitters or receivers, they need an ultra-precise processing and are composed of optical fibers, ferrule and optical glass lenses. Therefore, this study suggests a nondestructive evaluation technique or a system using resonant ultrasound spectroscopy to evaluate flaws in a optical glass lens. It also conducted a nondestructive evaluation for flaws that are commonly found in a optical glass lens and reviewed the results.

Improved Secure Remote User Authentication Protocol

  • Recently, Holbl et al. proposed an improvement to Peyravian-Jeffries's password-based authentication protocol to overcome some security flaws. However, Munilla et al. showed that Holbl et al.'s improvement is still vulnerable to off-line password guessing attack. In this paper, we provide a secure password-based authentication protocol which gets rid of the security flaws of Holbl et al.'s protocol.

  • The growing number of web applications in the global economy has made it critically important to develop secure and reliable software to support the economy's increasing dependence on web-based systems. We propose an intercepting filter approach to mitigate the risk of injection flaw exploitation- one of the most dangerous methods of attacking web applications. The proposed approach can be implemented in Java or .NET environments following the intercepting filter design pattern. This paper provides examples to illustrate the proposed approach.

영향계수를 이용한 원통용기 축방향 표면결함의 응력확대계수의 계산 (Stress Intensity factor Calculation for the Axial Semi-Elliptical Surface Flaws on the Thin-Wall Cylinder Using Influence Coefficients)

  • For integrity analysis of nuclear reactor pressure vessel, including the Pressurized thermal shock analysis, the fast and accurate calculation of the stress intensity factor at the crack tip is needed. For this, a simple approximation scheme is developed and the resulting stress intensity factors for axial semi-elliptical cracks in cylindrical vessel under various loading conditions are compared with those of the finite element method and other approximation methods, such as Raju-Newman's equation and ASME Sec. Xl approach. For these, three-dimensional finite-element analyses are performed to obtain the stress intensity factors for various surface cracks with t/R = 0.1. The approximation methods, incorporated in VINTIN (Vessel INTegrity analysis-INner flaws), utilizes the influence coefficients to calculate the stress intensity factor at the crack tip. This method has been compared with other solution methods including 3-D finite clement analysis for internal pressure, cooldown, and pressurized thermal shock loading conditions. The approximation solutions are within $\pm$2.5% of the those of FEA using symmetric model of one-forth of a vessel under pressure loading, and 1-3% higher under pressurized thermal shock condition. The analysis results confirm that the VINTIN method provides sufficiently accurate stress intensity factor values for axial semi-elliptical flaws on the surface of the reactor pressure vessel.

금속 표면결함 검출용 자기유도 마이크로 박막 센서 (Inductive Micro Thin Film Sensor for Metallic Surface Crack Detection)

  • 비자성 및 자성 금속 시편의 표면 결함을 검출하기 위하여 교류자기장을 이용하였다. 비파괴 센서 프로브는 자성 박막 요크와 박막형 코일로 구성된 신호 검출부와 시편에 교류자기장을 인가하기 위한 단일 직선을 이용한 여기 코일로 이루어져 있다. 박막형 유도 코일 센서는 스퍼터, 전기도금, 건식 식각과 사진식각 공정을 이용하여 제작되었다. 시편에 교류자기장을 인가하기 위하여 0.7 MHz-1.8 MHz 주파수 영역에서 0.1A-1.0A의 교류전류를 여기코일에 인가하였다. 센서의 특성은 최소 0.5 mm의 깊이와 폭을 가진 인위적인 슬릿 형태 비자성체 Al과 자성체 FeC 결함 시편을 이용하여 측정하였다. 측정된 신호는 높은 감도를 갖고 결함 시편위의 슬릿결함의 위치와 일치함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 박막형 유도 코일 센서를 이용하여 마이크론 크기의 표면 결함을 가진 자성체 FeC의 시편을 비접촉 스캔하여 측정된 유도전압의 변화를 이미지화 하였으며 그 결과를 광학적 이미지와 비교하였다.
