수직원통 주위의 자유표면 층류운동의 수치해석 (Numerical Simulation of Laminar Flows for a Circular Cylinder Vertically Piercing Free Surface)

  • 본 논문에서는 점성유동에 미치는 자유표면의 영향을 조사하기 위하여 자유표면을 수직으로 관통하는 원통 주위의 유동을 수치 시뮬레이션 하였다. 수치해석 방법으로서 Artificial Compressibility Method를 사용하였으며, 계산은 낮은 레이놀드수의 영역에 국한하였다. 계산결과는 자유표면에 가까운 유체영역에서 유선, 점성항력 등에 적지않은 영향이 있음을 보여주고 있다. 자유표면의 존재는 물체 후류 중의 와류를 물체로 부터 분리시키는 방향으로, 점성항력을 감소시키는 방향으로 작용하는 것으로 보인다.

성인 남성의 신사복에 대한 선호 디자인 및 요구 성능 (A Study on the Preference Design and the Demand Performance for Adult Men's Suit)

  • This study diagnosed difference of preference about demand performance with design of men's suit according to demographic characteristic and figured out Needs of adult man consumers for men's suit. This study is survey research. In order to collect data, a questionnaire was used. To analyze the collected data, fact analysis, $\chi^2$, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple comparisons and the rest were carried out with using SPSS 14.0. Result of this study could get as following. According to silhouette and color, there was difference to age, attainments in scholarship and preference according to job. Also young people preferred fitted-silhouette and in occasion of color, all of them preferred best black. It was no difference according to demographic characteristic in preferring pattern but preferred best solid on the whole. Demand performance of men's suit appeared by five main causes of design, practicality, comfort, appearance appropriateness, another person awareness and functional materials. And most main causes showed difference according to demographic characteristic.

Modeling and Forecasting Saudi Stock Market Volatility Using Wavelet Methods

  • This empirical research aims to modeling and improving the forecasting accuracy of the volatility pattern by employing the Saudi Arabia stock market (Tadawul)by studying daily closed price index data from October 2011 to December 2019 with a number of observations being 2048. In order to achieve significant results, this study employs many mathematical functions which are non-linear spectral model Maximum overlapping Discrete Wavelet Transform (MODWT) based on the best localized function (Bl14), autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model and generalized autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity (GARCH) models. Therefore, the major findings of this study show that all the previous events during the mentioned period of time will be explained and a new forecasting model will be suggested by combining the best MODWT function (Bl14 function) and the fitted GARCH model. Therefore, the results show that the ability of MODWT in decomposition the stock market data, highlighting the significant events which have the most highly volatile data and improving the forecasting accuracy will be showed based on some mathematical criteria such as Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), Mean Absolute Scaled Error (MASE), Root Means Squared Error (RMSE), Akaike information criterion. These results will be implemented using MATLAB software and R- software.

셀룰러 OFDMA 시스템을 위한 불규칙적 주파수 재사용 방법 (An Irregular Frequency Reuse Scheme for Cellular OFDMA Systems)

  • 전통적인 셀룰러 시스템에서의 주파수 재사용 방법은 주파수를 분할하고 특정 셀에 위치한 단말들을 특정 주파수 영역에 할당시키는 반면, OFDMA 시스템에서의 주파수 재사용은 스케줄링에 의해서 결정되는 부반송파 할당 문제로 볼 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 주파수 설계에 의해서 인접한 셀들이 배타적인 주파수를 사용하도록 하는 대신, 각 셀이 셀 번호에 따라서 정적으로 결정되는 불규칙적인 패턴을 가지는 주파수 영역을 사용하는 방법을 제안한다. 이 논문에서는 불규칙적인 주파수 할당 패턴을 사용하는 것이 계획적인 주파수 할당을 하는 것에 견줄 정도의 효과적인 간섭 회피와 높은 데이터 전송률을 얻는 것이 가능함을 보인다.

17세기$\sim$19세기 남성 재킷류의 소매패턴 연구 (Study on Sleeve Patterns of Men's Jackets from 17C to 19C)

  • Men's outer wear, such as jackets and coats appeared since the 16th century. They have been changed from doublets, coats, justaucorps, tail-coats, frock coats and morning coats to contemporary men's suits. Since the early 17th century, sleeve patterns of men's outer jackets had been mostly two-pieces close fitted patterns. The purpose of this article is to compare sleeve patterns of various jackets, which appear in various historic costume books. Armhole measurements, sleeve head measurements, amounts of ease, armhole depths, armhole widths, crown heights, sleeve width and sleeve angle had been compared to find out the differences among patterns of different times and styles. Coming to the present, the difference between top sleeve and under sleeve became more obvious, and the sleeve angle became less curvy. Another interesting point is that there had been considerable amounts of ease, which is the difference between sleeve head measurements and corresponding armhole measurements. It is because the sleeve has been attached to the armhole not by seam but by string. It is believed that the present sleeves have more natural curve and shape compared to the past.

  • The crystal structure of ZnS fabricated by gas-liquid phase reaction was obtained by XRD and refined by RIETAN near R$_{wp}$ factor 10%. The increasement of HCP phase depended on extra H$_2$S gas and the lattice parameter and crystalline size changed by the relative ratio of multiphase. Using ZnS of the different multiphase ratio and crystalline size, sintered ZnS:Cu, Al green phosphor and the CL property resulted optimum luminescence in the range of 91~94% and 150~190$\AA$, respectably, FCC/HCP ratio and crystalline size. As changing of structure ratio, the reason of different luminescence property is now studying. As well as, after XRD pattern of TiO$_2$powder fitted by RIETAN and the structure factor using MEED method simulated about each atom of (002) plane. Additionally, we proposed RIETAN and MEED were the methods of the study of luminescence mechanism for many phosphor materials.s.

파워숄더 재킷의 실루엣에 따른 가상착의 재현 (Reproducibility of Virtual Power Shoulder Jacket by Silhouette Variation)

  • This study aims to verify the sewing technology and the expression of the virtual garment program by comparing the appearance similarity between the real and the virtual power shoulder jacket. To this end, the H and the X silhouettes of the power shoulder jacket were selected as the reference designs. After making the reference designs into real jackets by applying the human body dimensions of women in their twenties, virtual avatars and jackets were produced using CLO 3D programs. The results showed that the H-type with only expanded shoulders and less design variation had a high similarity between the reference photo and real garment, the real and virtual garment, and the reference photo and virtual garment. The power shoulder jacket of the reference picture was well reproduced in the real and virtual garments. Conversely, the X-type jacket, which is a tight fit and has many design variations, showed somewhat low similarity in the circumference items and the basic construction line. Especially in tight-fitted power shoulder jackets, the fact that shoulder angles and the essential items for pattern making cannot be reflected in reproducing virtual models was found to be a limitation in increasing the similarity of virtual clothing. Furthermore, the sewing system gap between the real and the virtual clothing exposed a difference in the appearance of virtual clothing.

Thermo-hydraulic Effect of Tubular Heat Exchanger Fitted with Perforated Baffle Plate with Rectangular Shutter-type Deflector

  • A study was conducted on a tubular heat exchanger to improve its heat transfer rate by using a novel baffle plate design with discontinuous swirling patterns. The design consisted of perforated baffle plates with rectangular air deflectors positioned at varying angles. The tubes in the heat exchanger were arranged in a consistent alignment with the airflow direction and exposed to a uniform heat flux on their surfaces. Each baffle plate included sixteen deflectors inclined at the same angle and arranged in a clockwise pattern. This arrangement induced a swirling motion of the air inside a circular duct where the heated tubes were located, leading to increased turbulence and improved heat transfer on the tube surfaces. The spacing between the baffle plates was adjusted at different pitch ratios, and the Reynolds number was controlled within a range of 16,000 to 29,000. The effects of pitch ratios and inclination angles on the heat exchanger's performance were analyzed. The results indicated that using a baffle plate with rectangular deflectors inclined at 30° and a pitch ratio of 1.2 resulted in an average increase of 1.29 in the thermal enhancement factor.

피팅 상태에 따른 RGP 렌즈와 각막과의 간극 비교 (A Comparison of the Contact Areas between Cornea and RGP Lenses by Fitting Status)

  • 목적: 본 연구에서는 형상 및 난시도가 상이한 각막에 구면 및 비구면 RGP 렌즈를 피팅 상태를 달리하여 착용시켰을 때 각막과 렌즈와의 간극에 미치는 영향을 알아보아 적절한 RGP 렌즈의 선택에 도움이 되고자 하였다. 방법: 직난시를 가진 $(25.12{\pm}3.52)$세의 90안에 구면과 비구면 RGP 렌즈를 각기 다른 피팅 상태로 착용시키고 플루레신 염색의 정량적인 분석을 위하여 중심부, 중간주변부 및 주변부로 나눠 면적을 계산하여 각막과 콘택트렌즈의 간극을 비교하였다. 결과: 양호한 피팅 시 중심부와 주변부 면적은 렌즈 디자인에 따른 유의한 차이가 있었으나 스팁 혹은 플랫하게 피팅되었을 때의 중심부 면적은 각막형상과 렌즈 디자인에 따른 차이는 없었다. 각막 형상에 따라 분석하였을 때 양호한 피팅과 플랫 피팅에서는 두 렌즈 디자인 모두에서 중심부와 주변부 면적이 각막 형상에 따라 통계 적으로 유의하게 달라졌으나, 스팁 피팅에서는 차이가 없었다. 각막 난시도에 따라 분석하였을 때 각막형상에 상관없이 각막난시가 증가함에 따라 일정하게 중심부 및 주변부의 면적이 변하는 양호한 피팅의 경우와는 달리 스팁 피팅과 플랫한 피팅의 경우는 원형 각막과 대칭나비형 각막에서의 면적 변화 양상이 상이하였다. 결론: 본 연구에서 는 RGP 렌즈를 스팁이나 플랫하게 피팅 되었을 경우 양호한 피팅시 보다 각막난시나 각막 형상에 따른 렌즈와 각막과의 간극 변화가 더 커지며 이러한 결과는 구면 RGP 렌즈와 비구면 RGP 렌즈 모두에서 공통적으로 나타나는 것임을 알 수 있었다.

토양의 규산 흡착 카이네틱에서 2단계 흡착 기작 (Two Stage Process Mechanism of Silica Adsorption by Soil in Adsoption Kinetics)

  • 토양의 규산 흡착기작을 밝히고자 continuous stirred-flow(연속진탕흘림) 법을 이용하여 시간 경과에 따른 규산 흡착량 변화에 대한 실험을 $25^{\circ}C$, pH 3수준(5, 6.5, 8)에서 실시하였다. 규산 흡착량은 실험기간내 최대 흡착량을 보이지 않고 계속 증가 하였다. 시간에 따른 규산의 흡착과정을 2단계로 구분 하였고, 1단계 반응과정은 아래의 지수함수식에서 고도의 유의성있는 상관관계를 보였다 $$R_{ad}=K_a*(Q_{OH}^S)^n$$ 여기서 $R_{ad}$는 규산흡착속도($Si\;{\mu}mal/min$), $Q_{OH}^S$는 알칼리 투여를 통하여 생성된 토양표면 음전하량, $K_a$와 n 은 상수이다. 1단계 반응과정의 n값은 1.1로 한자리 결합(monolantate ligand bonding)에 의한 흡착과정인 것으로 나타났다. 2단계 과정은 아래 식에서 고도의 유의성있는 상관관계를 보였다. $$R_{ad}=K_b*(pH)$$ 이때 $K_b$ 는 비례상수로, pH 증가에 따른 규산 흡착 속도의 증가 추세가 지수 함수적으로 감소하는 경향을 보였다.
