LS-DYNA를 이용한 원자력발전소의 로드블록에 대한 차량 충돌 시뮬레이션 (Vehicle Collision Simulation for Roadblocks in Nuclear Power Plants Using LS-DYNA)

  • 본 논문에서는 LS-DYNA를 활용한 원자력발전소 설치 로드블록 차량 시뮬레이션 방법을 소개한다. 차량 강습 위협이 원자력 발전소의 설계기준위협으로 포함된 이후로 차량 강습을 대비하기 위한 차량 방벽(Anti-ram barrier)의 성능 평가 소요가 커지고 있다. 차량 방벽은 일반적으로 충돌 실험을 통하여 성능을 인증 받는다. 하지만 국내에서는 차량 방벽에 대한 성능 시험 시설이 마련되어 있지 않아, 시뮬레이션을 통한 차량 방벽 성능 검증이 필요하다. LS-DYNA는 충돌 시뮬레이션에 특화되어 있으며, NCAC를 비롯한 여러 기관에서 충돌 시험과의 타당성 검증을 완료한 수치 모델을 배포하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 로드블록의 가장 핵심적인 차량 차단막 모듈의 FE 모델을 구축하여 충돌 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 계산된 결과는 NCHRP 179의 차량 안전 시설 충돌 시뮬레이션 검증 기준을 준용하여 검증하였다. 그 결과 모래시계 에너지(hourglass energy)가 총 에너지의 5%를 넘지 않고 내부 에너지의 10%를 넘지 않는 것을 확인하였으며, added mass가 1% 미만으로 기준인 10%를 넘지 않는 것을 확인하였다. 향후 FE 모델을 활용하여 물리적 방벽의 성능을 평가하여 데이터 베이스를 구축할 예정이다.

Dynamic analysis of a coupled steel-concrete composite box girder bridge-train system considering shear lag, constrained torsion, distortion and biaxial slip

  • Steel-concrete composite box girder bridges are widely used in the construction of highway and railway bridges both domestically and abroad due to their advantages of being light weight and having a large spanning ability and very large torsional rigidity. Composite box girder bridges exhibit the effects of shear lag, restrained torsion, distortion and interface bidirectional slip under various loads during operation. As one of the most commonly used calculation tools in bridge engineering analysis, one-dimensional models offer the advantages of high calculation efficiency and strong stability. Currently, research on the one-dimensional model of composite beams mainly focuses on simulating interface longitudinal slip and the shear lag effect. There are relatively few studies on the one-dimensional model which can consider the effects of restrained torsion, distortion and interface transverse slip. Additionally, there are few studies on vehicle-bridge integrated systems where a one-dimensional model is used as a tool that only considers the calculations of natural frequency, mode and moving load conditions to study the dynamic response of composite beams. Some scholars have established a dynamic analysis model of a coupled composite beam bridge-train system, but where the composite beam is only simulated using a Euler beam or Timoshenko beam. As a result, it is impossible to comprehensively consider multiple complex force effects, such as shear lag, restrained torsion, distortion and interface bidirectional slip of composite beams. In this paper, a 27 DOF vehicle rigid body model is used to simulate train operation. A two-node 26 DOF finite beam element with composed box beams considering the effects of shear lag, restrained torsion, distortion and interface bidirectional slip is proposed. The dynamic analysis model of the coupled composite box girder bridge-train system is constructed based on the wheel-rail contact relationship of vertical close-fitting and lateral linear creeping slip. Furthermore, the accuracy of the dynamic analysis model is verified via the measured dynamic response data of a practical composite box girder bridge. Finally, the dynamic analysis model is applied in order to study the influence of various mechanical effects on the dynamic performance of the vehicle-bridge system.

  • 폭발 수치해석 기법 중 Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian(ALE)는 구조물의 파괴뿐만 아니라 폭발 이후 충격파의 전파 과정까지 관찰할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 그러나 동적 해석 시 유한요소 모델의 격자망 크기가 일정 수준 이하로 감소하게 되면 해석 결과의 신뢰도가 부정확해진다. 본 연구에서는 ALE 수치해석 기법을 활용하여 대기의 격자망 크기가 해석의 정확도에 미치는 영향을 조사한다. 다양한 조건의 격자망 크기와 폭발 중량을 갖는 대기 중 폭발모델을 구축하고, 폭발 중심으로부터 거리에 따른 폭발압력을 관찰한다. 수치해석과 실험에서 얻은 최대 폭발압력 결과에 대해 평균 제곱 오차를 계산하여 최적의 격자망 크기를 제안하고, 제안된 크기를 바탕으로 폭발물 중량과 대기의 최적 격자망 크기에 대한 상관관계를 분석한다. 본 연구는 다양한 중량을 가진 폭발물 해석에서 최적의 격자망 크기를 제공함으로써 신뢰성이 향상된 폭발 수치해석 모델 개발에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

Effect of the initial imperfection on the response of the stainless steel shell structures

  • Analyzing the collapse behavior of thin-walled steel structures holds significant importance in ensuring their safety and longevity. Geometric imperfections present on the surface of metal materials can diminish both the durability and mechanical integrity of steel shells. These imperfections, encompassing local geometric irregularities and deformations such as holes, cavities, notches, and cracks localized in specific regions of the shell surface, play a pivotal role in the assessment. They can induce stress concentration within the structure, thereby influencing its susceptibility to buckling. The intricate relationship between the buckling behavior of these structures and such imperfections is multifaceted, contingent upon a variety of factors. The buckling analysis of thin-walled steel shell structures, similar to other steel structures, commonly involves the determination of crucial material properties, including elastic modulus, shear modulus, tensile strength, and fracture toughness. An established method involves the emulation of distributed geometric imperfections, utilizing real test specimen data as a basis. This approach allows for the accurate representation and assessment of the diversity and distribution of imperfections encountered in real-world scenarios. Utilizing defect data obtained from actual test samples enhances the model's realism and applicability. The sizes and configurations of these defects are employed as inputs in the modeling process, aiding in the prediction of structural behavior. It's worth noting that there is a dearth of experimental studies addressing the influence of geometric defects on the buckling behavior of cylindrical steel shells. In this particular study, samples featuring geometric imperfections were subjected to experimental buckling tests. These same samples were also modeled using Finite Element Analysis (FEM), with results corroborating the experimental findings. Furthermore, the initial geometrical imperfections were measured using digital image correlation (DIC) techniques. In this way, the response of the test specimens can be estimated accurately by applying the initial imperfections to FE models. After validation of the test results with FEA, a numerical parametric study was conducted to develop more generalized design recommendations for the stainless-steel shell structures with the initial geometric imperfection. While the load-carrying capacity of samples with perfect surfaces was up to 140 kN, the load-carrying capacity of samples with 4 mm defects was around 130 kN. Likewise, while the load carrying capacity of samples with 10 mm defects was around 125 kN, the load carrying capacity of samples with 14 mm defects was measured around 120 kN.

엔진마운트 브라켓용 PA66/GF 복합재료의 특성 평가 및 진동감쇠 성능 시뮬레이션에 대한 연구 (Research on Evaluation of Properties of PA6/PA66/GF Composite according to Injection Pressure and Simulation of Damping Performance)

  • 내열성 및 내충격성, 진동 감쇠 성능이 필수인 엔진마운트 브라켓(engine mount braket)에 적용하기 위한 PA소재 기반 복합재료 제조 방법에 대한 연구를 실시하였다. 복합재료의 기지재로 PA66 수지를 활용하였고, 강화재로 유리섬유를 활용하였다. 복합재료는 injection molding 방법으로 제조하였으며, 보강재인 유리섬유 함량에 따라 열적 특성과 기계적 특성, 형태학적 특성 분석을 진행하였다. 이때, 복합재료의 특성 평가 데이터베이스를 in-put 데이터로 활용하여 3D 모델을 생성하였다. 생성된 3D모델의 진동 감쇠 성능(vibration damping)을 out-put 데이터로 추출하였다. PA기반 복합재료의 특성평가 및 엔진브라켓 형태 3D모델의 진동 감쇠 성능에 대한 시뮬레이션을 진행하는 이유는 실제 자동차 부품을 제조하여 진동 감쇠 성능 시험을 진행하지 않아도 제품의 성능을 예측할 수 있기 때문에, 우수한 제품을 개발하기 위한 개발 비용이 감소할 수 있다. 실제로 시험을 진행하지 않고도 제품 성능을 예측할 수 있기 때문에, 제품 개발에 필요한 시간도 절감할 수 있을 것이라 예상된다. 진동 감쇠 성능 시뮬레이션 결과, 강화재의 질량분율이 높아질수록 진동감쇠 성능이 비례하여 증가하는 경향을 나타내지만, 어느 수준 이상에서는 더 이상 증가하지않고, 소폭 감소하는 결과를 나타내었다. 실제 실험값과 시뮬레이션 값과의 비교 결과, ±5% 이내의 근사치를 나타내었으며, 강화재의 질량분율이 60 wt.%일 때 결과값의 차이가 가장 크게 발생하였다.

  • 지반에 인입된 파일에 대한 거동 해석은 지반의 비선형 거동 특성으로 인해 일반적으로 유한요소에 기반한 수치적인 방법을 주로 이용한다. 그러나 수치 해석은 파일-지반 모델링 및 연산에 많은 노력과 시간을 요구하므로 파일의 제원과 지반 물성치가 확정되지 않은 초기 설계 단계에서는 활용에 많은 한계를 갖는다. 반면, 지반을 선형화한 이론해석의 경우 수치 해석에 비해 모델이 단순하고 연산 시간이 매우 짧으므로, 해석의 신뢰성이 확보된다면 지반-지지구조의 거동 특성을 초기에 예측하는데 유용할 것이다. 본 연구에서 대상으로 하는 풍력발전기의 경우, 초기 설계 단계에서 풍력터빈의 고유진동수 예측을 위한 동적 거동 해석이 요구되며, 이 때 지반에 인입된 풍력터빈의 지지구조는 탄성경계조건으로 단순화하여 동적 거동 해석에 반영할 수 있다. 이를 위해, 본 논문에서는 풍력터빈 지지구조의 선단부 탄성 계수를 도출하고자 지반에 인입된 파일에 대한 파일-지반 연성해석을 수행하였다. 해석 시 지반의 변형은 탄성범위 이내에 있다고 단순화하여 지반에 인입된 파일을 탄성지지된 보로 모델링하였다. 탄성지지보 모델을 이용해 파일 선단에 수평 하중 또는 모멘트가 작용할 때 발생하는 파일의 횡변형을 구하고, 이로부터 영향계수를 도출하였다. 풍력터빈의 지지구조에 대한 해석 예로써, 모노파일과 석션파일에 대해 파일 선단의 영향계수를 구하고, 이를 문헌의 결과와 비교함으로써 해석 결과의 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 또한 이 두 파일의 깊이에 따른 변형 및 선단부의 스프링 상수를 비교하여 지지구조의 강성 측면에서 모노파일과 석션파일의 특성을 살펴보았다.

황해 중동부 제4기 퇴적층의 지음향 특성 (Geoacoustic characteristics of Quaternary stratigraphic sequences in the mid-eastern Yellow Sea)

  • 황해 중동부 해역 ($36^{\circ}00'N{\sim}36^{\circ}45'N$,$\;125^{\circ}00'E{\sim}125^{\circ}45'E$)에 분포하는 퇴적층을 대상으로 획득한 고해상 탄성파탐사자료(에어건, 스파커, SBP)와 심부 시추시료(YSDP 105, ${\sim}$64m 깊이)의 종합분석에 따라, 연구 해역의 층서모델을 설정하고 탄성 -음향 모델링을 수행하였다. 층서모델은 탄성파${\cdot}$${\cdot}$시 층서 단위들을 비교 분석하여 각 지층단위의 음향학적 특성, 퇴적과정, 생성시기를 규명하였다 또한 단위층 형성과정을 해수면 변동과 관련지어 순차층서를 복원하였다. 각 순차층은 육성 또는 천해성 기원이며 조립질의 저해수면 퇴적계와 조석 기원 세립질의 해침-고해수면 퇴적계로 구성되어 있다. 탄성-음향 모델링의 매개변수 산출을 위해, 0.S~90 cm 심도 간격으로 측정된 시추코아의 121 개 평균입도 자료를, Hamilton의 회귀식과 퇴적심도에 따른 변화구배를 이용하여, 전밀도(bulk density)값과 종파속도값으로 변환${\cdot}$계산하였다. 외삽${\cdot}$보정된 121 쌍의 전밀도${\cdot}$종파속도 물성값은 설정된 층서모델에서 제시된 단위층 별로 평균하여 각 단위층의 대표값으로 산출하였다. 퇴적층 내의 탄성-음향 전파 모델링을 위해, 층서모델의 각 단위층에 전밀도와 종파속도의 대표값을 입력 매개변수값으로 부여한 후, 층서 구성 단위층들을 유한요소격자로 분해하였다. 파선추적법의 컴퓨터 모델링 결과, 탄성-음향의 전파는 층서모델을 구성하는 단위층 경계면의 불규칙성과 저속도층의 다수 존재에 의하여 매우 복잡한 음경로를 보이며, 음원의 위치에 따라 탄성-음파의 암영대가 달리 존재함을 확인하였다. 것으로 보아 층 2는 고에너지환경에서 형성되었음을 시사한다. 또한 층 2에서 Al의 증가는 쇄설기원 물질의 유입에 의한 것으로 추정된다. 플라이오세 이후에 형성된 층 1은 치밀한 조직을 보이며, 형성 이후 속성작용을 받지 않았다.선택적으로 분해되는 것으로 여겨진다.두냔 tsuchigae, S. nigripinni morii, M. jeoni, C. splendidus, P. koreanus, C. lutheri, I. koreensis, C. herzi, R. brunneus 등으로 본 종들의 서식 상태는 하천의 오염 정도 및 하천개수와 직접적인 관계가 있으므로 어류서식 환경을 유지시키기 위해서 보다 적극적인 하천 수질관리의 대책과 방안이 수립되어야 될 것으로 사료된다.와 운동, H-R도상에서의 별의 특성과 진화 등이다. 탐구 과정에 대한 학생의 성취도는 비교적 높으므로 이해도가 상대적으로 낮은 영역에 대해 학생의 오답 유형을 참고하여 기본 개념 지도에 보다 관심을 기울일 필요가 있다.Cr은 FW에서 전반적으로 감소하는 경향을 보였지만 SW에서는 실험 초기에 감소하다 24시간 이후에는 증가 후 일정한 양상을 보였다. Pb은 FW에서 전반적으로 감소했지만 SW에서는 초기에 급격히 증가 후 다시 급격히 감소하는 양상을 보였다 Pb 또한 Cu, Cd, As와 마찬가지로 SW1&2에서 제거속도가 가장 빠르게 나타났다. FW 상층수 중 Hg는 시간에 따라 급격히 감소했고, 제거속도는 Fw5&6에서 가장 느렸다. 이러한 결과에 근거할 때 벼가 자라고 있고 이분해성 유기물이 풍부한 FW1&2, FW3&4 토양과 상층수에서는 유기물의 분해 활동이 활발하였지만, 벼가 경작되지 않는 FW5&6과 SW 에서는 유기물이 상대적으로 결핍되어 유기물의 분해활동이 적었을 것으로 판단된다. 한편, 수조에 인위적으로 유기물을 첨가한 경우 박테리아 세포수는 SW1에서 164시간 동안 4배 증가하였으나 SW3과 SW5에서는 각각 2.7배, 1.

High Resolution HC$_3$N Observations toward the Central Region of Sagittarius B2

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500,550,570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500,550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100,300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.
