The purpose of this study was to examine causal model of resources and demands, family financial management and subjective financial security among urban households based on system theory. For this purpose, the data were collected by the questionnaire sheets. 455 housewives participated this survey in Seoul. And the data were analyzed by various statistical methods such as Frequency, Percentile, ANOVA, F-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, Multipe Regression Analysis, and Path Analysis. The results of this research were as follows: 1. There were significant differences in the Subjective Financial Security according to resource variables and demand yariables. Those variables were such as housewive's age, education, occupation, househead's occupation, per capita income, aspiration, expectancy, perception of financial progress and relative deprivation. 2. The higher family financial management level, the higher level of Subjective Financial security. And the higher family financial management plan·implement level, the higher level of Subjective Financial security. 3. The lower debt/asset ratio, the higher level of Subjective Financial security. 4. Aspiration, per capita income an financial managemant variables showed direct effect on Subjective Financial security among all variables affecting the urban households' Subjective financial security. While housewive's education level, aspiration, per capita income and husband's occupation affected indirectly on the Subjective Financial security through family financial managemant.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of a married adult on child-toparent and on parent-to-child financial supports. The data, derived from Korean General Social Survey(KGSS) was obtained from the Survey Research Center at Sung Kyun Kwan University. The samples included 367 married adult children who had more than one living parent. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the research model. The findings from the analysis showed that monthly household income had no significant impact on the financial supports that adult children provided to their parents or that the parents provided to their child. The expectation of financial supports from their parents in the future was a important factor that affected the level of female and male children's financial supports that they received from their parents. The level of instrumental supports from their parents and their parents-in-law did influence the level of financial transfers between them. These results showed that financial transfers between married adult children and their parents differed based on the children's attitude towards the supporting parents, and whether or not the children or parents had alternative resources available to them for financial supports. Moreover, the variation in financial supports and benefits showed complex differences based on the gender of the children, and based on whether the financial support was coming from the respondent's parents or their partner's parents.
This study examines the roles of intangible and tangible resources of Korean business groups on internationalization by their member firms. Specifically, we argue that not all affiliates receive same benefit from group-level resource sharing. Instead, the effect of group-level knowledge sharing on affiliates' internationalization depends on individual affiliates' relative financial positions within a business group. Using samples of business groups in Korea, chaebols, hereafter chaebols, we find that foreign market knowledge at the group level has a positive impact on the internationalization of affiliated firms while the product knowledge has no impact. Furthermore, we also find evidences that an affiliate with high level of financial capacity receives internal pressures to stay in domestic market to secure internal capital market and support other sister affiliates' international activities.

This thesis aimcs to point out the actual status of human resource management in the hotels, and suggests the improvement there of by analyzing the system. This research is organized into five sections. section one introduces its objectives. scope and mothodology. Section two provides the theory of human resource management on the kitchen of hotels. And section these analyzed about the factors of human resource management. Section four, suggests the alternatives of the improvement on human resource management, section Five describes the conclusion of this thesis. Today, importance of human resource is viewed multipoint aspects in relation to efficiency of organization and interrelationship of employee, especially the arrangement of human resource is fairly handle and allocation of the human resource and personal appraisal. On the other hand, human resource managers have to be responsible for the cost control and customer's attraction by developing human resources. In order to advance human resource management on kitchen of hotels, following alternatives are considered with efficiency of management and interrelation of employee. The first, the manager of hotels has to consider the passive support of development of human resource. The second, the manager of hotels should develop the various training program for the extonsive ability of employee. The third, in order to improvement of human resource management, manager should establish the system for human resource management view of efficiency and employee's interrelationship.

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how having a family care program in the workplace for working women with preschool children affects these women's work and family life. This study employs a panel analysis based on data from the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families. The major results are as follows. First, financial support for nursery care is only significantly related to the turnover of married women with preschool children. Second, the negative effects of work on the family are significantly influenced by financial support for nursery care and maternity leave. Third, financial support for nursery care is also significantly related to the positive effects of work on the family. In conclusion, a family-friendly care program including financial support for nursery care and maternity leave in the workplace is an important support system for working mothers in raising their children.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the overall levels of the middle aged salary men's attitudes toward retirement plan and financial planning for post-retirement life, and to understand the influencing variables such as personal, socio-economical and job characteristics. The data were collected from the 445 middle aged male salary workers through the structured questionnaires and were analysed by SPSS program. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the salary men had different level of perception of retirement issues and retirement planning for post-retirement life. Second, according to the attitudes for retirement planning types, the affecting variables were different. Third, the results of the analysis showed that personal characteristics, job characteristics, economical background and the perception of family care were affecting the level of financial planning for retirement. And the positive attitude was the most crucial variable which affected the financial planning for retirement.

The purpose of this study was to emphasize the household financial education as a part of family life education, especially when provided at local community level; it also examines diverse measures by which to deliver such education. To this end, the current study focuses on the education programs of a healthy family support center, which has been established as a representative transmission system. The current status of its operations was examined, and practical measures by which to stimulate the delivery of financial education within that center were derived. In more detail, previous studies inside and outside of Korea were examined, and the current status of financial education included in the area of family life education was assessed; as a result of these assessments, the definition and objectives of financial education as family life education were adjusted. The limits of financial education that has been delivered thus far were reviewed, with the aim of proposing measures by which to sufficiently stimulate the delivery of financial education programs-programs that ultimately reflect the healthy family philosophy. This study proposes four specific measures by which to stimulate financial education. The first is the application of 'life cycle perspectives' to educational terms. The second is the activation of financial education programs that involve the family unit as educational subjects. Third, the delivery of lectures which related to the financing and nurturing of program coordinators was proposed. The fourth is drawing a connection between online and offline education in terms of effectively applying teaching methods. Ultimately, the results of this study can be used as basic data to inform the planning, development, and operational stages of financial education programs within family life education, which can be performed in healthy family support centers in the future.
This paper investigates the determinants of the firm's decision to carry out innovative activities in terms of the resource-based view(RBV) in strategic management. Two types of resources are distinguished: tangible(financial autonomy, firm size, capital intensity) and intangible(human resource, entrepreneurship, and commercial resource). R&D intensity and patent statistics are used as proxies for innovative activity. Specific hypotheses about their effect on the probability of a firm carrying out innovative activities are derived and tested on a sample of 337 listed firms in Korean manufacturing industry for the year 1999, using the logistic regression model. Empirical findings suggest that firm size and human resource are the main determinants of firm's internal innovative activities. The results show that the hypotheses concerning financial autonomy, debt ratio, capital intensity, entrepreneurship, and commercial resource are rejected.

This study analyzes the key drivers (commitment, integration of big data, green supply chain management, and green human resource practices) of sustainable capabilities and the influence to which these sustainable capabilities impact the banks' environmental and financial performance. Additionally, this study analyzes the impact of green management practices on the integration of big data technology with operations. The theory of dynamic capability was deployed to propose and empirically test the conceptual model. Data was collected through a self-administrated survey questionnaire from 319 participants employed at 35 banks located in six ASEAN countries. The findings indicate that big data analytics strategies have an impact on internal processes and banks' sustainable and financial performance. This study indicates that banks committed towards proper data monitoring of its clients achieve operational efficiency and sustainability goals. Moreover, our results confirm that banks practising green innovation strategies experience better environmental and economic performance as the employees of these banks have received advance green human resource training. Finally, our study found that internal and external green supply chain management practices have a positive impact on banks' environmental and financial performance, which confirms that ASEAN banks contributing in reduction of environmental impact through its operations will ultimately experience increased financial performance.

This study aims to examine the effect of strategic planning, human resource management, and asset management on increasing the productivity of the rural economy. This research is a quantitative approach. The research sample was carried out by simple random sampling and data collection using a questionnaire so that 129 respondents were determined. The research test was conducted using multiple linear regression with the OLS (Ordinary Least Square model. The results obtained were that strategic planning, human resource management, and asset management had a significant positive effect on increasing the productivity of the rural economy. This shows that strategic planning is the most important thing in industry, companies, or organizations as a guideline to achieve optimal performance. In addition, human resource management and asset management are positive supports for increasing the economic productivity of rural communities to achieve welfare goals. This research proves that strategic planning must be carried out by considering the existing potential, both sources. natural resources, human resources, and economic resources Meanwhile, human resource management and asset management are mandatory to support the sustainability of an organization or company so that the benefits of the study as study material in strategic decision making, both in business and public policy.
