In a situation where a vertical dimension has to be increased, the normal occlusion, function and aesthetics should be restored after taking into consideration the neuromuscular system and temporomandibular join. In order to do this, the provisional prosthesis should be made according to the patient's information. Moreover, the period of adjustment should be made through the provisional prosthesis modification, if necessary. The patient is then transferred to the final prosthesis to obtain results that are satisfactory. In the modern-day world, provisional prosthesis are replicated using three dimensional scanning and computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) then made into final prosthesis. The adaptability of stomatognathic system can be judged by the PMMA provisional restoration. Functional and aesthetical aspect can be obtained. The adjustment period can be shortened by an intraoral correction and proper wear between provisional restorations. By using the CAD/CAM technology that transfers the information right into the final prosthesis.

When the ruling of Foreign Arbitral Awards contradicts the public policy of the enforcement state, it can be a ground for a refusal to enforce the ruling. New York Convention V section 2, UNCITRAL section 36, and Korean arbitration law section 36 confirm this principle. The final ruling of international arbitral awards should be respected according to the international convention or the principle of reciprocity, which cancel out the above principle: when the ruling contradicts the country's public policy, it can be refused to enforcement. Since the Helsinki General Convention, ILA have studied upon it and presented the final report and recommendation during the 2002 New Delhi General Convention. In it, firstly, the finality of awards rendered in the context of international commercial arbitration should be respected save in exceptional circumstances. Secondly, every state is recommended the “international public policy”, on which it can refuse to follow the ruling of international arbitral awards, and advised to respect it as far as possible.

Orthodontic treatment of a complex case that involves retained deciduous mandibular second molars with missing permanent successors is challenging. Usually, congenitally missing teeth are manifested with other dental anomalies that further complicate orthodontic treatment, such as retained deciduous teeth, impactions, transpositions and peg-shaped lateral incisors. Even though the long term prognosis of the retained deciduous tooth is not fully predictable, if the teeth are in good condition, the patient and clinician may incline towards a decision to preserve the deciduous teeth as long as possible. This case report demonstrates that deciduous teeth, in this case the mandibular second molars and maxillary canine, can be incorporated into final occlusion with clinically stable long-term results.

A burr has been defined as an undesirable projection of material formed as the result of plastic flow from a cutting or shearing operation. It is Unavoidable in all kinds of machining operation. This paper describe the burr formation mechanism which is based on the behavior of workpiece material during orthogonal machining of the clay on the milling machine. Specially in this report the rollover burr is dealt as a specific case of the chip formation in the final stage of cutting. The negative shear angle is introduced as an important features of burr formation. It is found that the burr formation process is divided into three stage-initiation, development of negative shearing, and formation of the burr with appropriate assumptions. Using above the burr formation mechanism, the size of burr can be estimated by cutting conditions.

We report the status of the cold neutron triple-axis spectrometer (Cold TAS) and thermal neutron triple-axis spectrometer (Thermal TAS) installed at HANARO. Cold TAS, whose specifications are standard across the world, is in the final phase of commissioning. Proper instrument operation was confirmed through a feasibility study of phonon measurements and data analyses with resolution convolution. In contrast, Thermal TAS is in the initial phase of commissioning, and improvement of the monochromator drum is now in progress from the viewpoint of radiation shielding. In addition, we report recent activities in the development of neutron basic elements, that is, film-coated Si-wafer collimators, which are promising for use in triple-axis spectroscopy, particularly in Cold TAS.

This report contains information about "System Selection Assistant"(SSA) - Program, which can help customers of manufacturing company to select optimal electro-mechanical system for their purposes. This Program shows main principles of programs, which can help to make decision, using knowledge of experts. Program consists of two main parts: "Expert's part" must be tuned by expert and "Customer's part" can be used to make final decision about optimal parts of system. This report describes all parts of SSA program and shows simple example of selection parts of electro-mechanical system.

Partial edentulism has multiple implications in relation to function, esthetics and future rehabilitative treatment. This case report illustrates the management of a patient with extreme consequences of partial edentulism. The main clinical findings were unopposed remaining teeth, overeruption of the remaining teeth, loss of vertical dimension of occlusion, and significant disfigurement of the occlusal plane. Following the diagnostic procedure, a well-coordinated prosthodontic treatment involving liaison with other dental disciplines was indicated. The management involved an innovative combination of fixed and removable prostheses in conjunction with crown lengthening surgery and strategic implant placement. Series of provisional prostheses were applied to facilitate the transition to the final treatment.

We performed thoracoscopic resection for diagnosis in 41 year-old-female presenting with multiple pulmonary nodules in both lung fields, which was detected incidentally on routine chest x-ray and followed by additional exmaminations including chest CT scan and percutaneous needle aspiration biopsy under the presumptive diagnosis of metastatic cancer. During thoracoscopy, the result of the frozen section analysis of multiple masses revealed strong evidence of leiomyoma. In her past medical history, she had undergone myomectomy, and hysterectomy, 7 year ago and 10 year ago, respectively. Based on permanent, special staining of specimen, estrogen receptor assay and review of past specimen of uterine myoma the final diagnosis was benign metastasizing leiomyomata from uterine myoma, the report was very uncommon in Korean and English literatures. The patient has been followed up for 2 year without special therapy, such as hormonal therapy.

GBM is the most common primary brain tumor, but intraventricular GBM is rare and only few cases have been reported in the literature. The authors report a case of 64-year-old man who had a remote history of previous periventricular intracerebral hemorrhage. Brain computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging showed an intraventricular lesion with inhomogeneous enhancement, infiltrative borders and necrotic cyst, and obstructive hydrocephalus. The patient underwent surgical removal through transcortical route via the bottom of previous hemorrhage site and the final pathologic diagnosis was GBM. We present a rare case of an intraventricular GBM with detailed clinical course, radiological findings, and pathological findings, and the possible origin of this lesion is discussed.

Pulmonary blastoma is rare malignant neoplasm usually situated peripherally in lung and composed of epithelial and mesenchymal components that resemble the lung at about 3 months gestation. Fortysix year-old man had no symptoms and signs, but solitary pulmonary nodule was found accidentally in a routine simple chest X-ray occupying right upper lung field. Preoperative chest CT-guided aspiration cytology revealed adenocarcinoma. We had done right upper lobectomy with Iymph node dissecton therapeutically. Final postoperative pathology reported this tumor as double pulmonary blastomas(well differentiated fetal adenocarcinoma). We report a case of pulmonary blastoma with review of literature.
