Due to the recent increase in information encountered on social media, algorithm-based recommendation formats selectively provide information based on user information, which often causes a filter bubble effect by an Echo Chamber. Eco-chamber refers to a phenomenon in which beliefs are amplified or strengthened by communication only in an enclosed system, and filter bubbles refer to a phenomenon in which information providers provide customized information according to users' interests, and users encounter only filtered information. The purpose of this study is to propose a method of efficiently selecting information as a way to improve the filter bubble phenomenon by such an echo chamber. The research progress method analyzed recommended algorithms used on YouTube, Facebook and Amazon. In this study, humanities solutions such as training critical thinking skills of social media users and strengthening objective ethical standards according to self-preservation laws, and technical solutions of model-based cooperative filtering or cross-recommendation methods were presented. As a result, recommended algorithms should continue to supplement technology and develop new techniques, and humanities should make efforts to overcome cognitive dissonance and prevent users from falling into confirmation bias through critical thinking training and political communication education.

A recommender system covers users, searches the items or services which users will like, and let users purchase them. Because recommendations from a recommender system are predictions of users' preferences for the items which they do not purchase yet, it is rarely possible to be drawn a perfect answer. An evaluation has been conducted to determine whether a prediction is right or not. However, it can be lower user's satisfaction if a recommender system focuses on only the preferences, that is caused by a 'filter bubble effect'. The filter bubble effect is an algorithmic bias that skews or limits the information an individual user sees on the recommended list. It is the reason why multiple metrics are required to evaluate recommender systems, and a diversity metrics is mainly used for it. In this paper, we compare three different methods for enhancing diversity for personalized recommendation - bin packing, weighted random choice, greedy re-ranking - with a practical e-commerce data acquired from a fashion shopping mall. Besides, we present the difference between experimental results and F1 scores.
The radiopharmaceuticals are routinely injected to blood vessel for acquiring PET image. For this reason, It is imperative that they undergo strict quality control measures. Especially, Sterility test is more important than any other quality control procedures. According to the FDA guideline, It requires filter integrity test used in the processing of sterile solutions. Among several methods, we can decide to use bubble point test. We usually use vented GS-filters (Millipore co., USA) which are sterilizinggrade (0.22 um pore size) and are placed upper site on product vial. After the synthesis of $^{18}F$-FDG, solutions wet the membrane in filter and then go into the product vial. By all synthesis steps have finished, we can observe the presence of the bubbles in the product vial. Since we have started this study, we have never found any bubbles in the product vial. Because the maximum pressure intensity of the filter which has set by manufacturer is up to 5 bars, but helium gas pressure is up to 1 bar in our module system. So, we can make 5 bars pressure using helium gas bombe and increase pressure up to 5 bars step by step. However, it does not happen to anything in vial.
In this paper, the recirculation flow motion and mixing characteristics driven by air bubble stream in a rectangular water tank is studied. The time-resolved PIV technique is adopted for the quantitative visualization and analysis. 488 nm Ar-ion CW laser is used for illumination and orange fluorescent ($\lambda_{ex}=540nm,\;\lambda_{em}=560nm$) particle images are acquired by a PCO 10bit high-speed CCD camera (1280$\times$1024). To obtain clean particle images, 545 nm long pass optical filter and an image intensifier are employed and the flow rates of compressed air is 3 l/min at 0.5 MPa. The recirculation and mixing flow field is further investigated by time-resolved POD analysis technique. It is observed that the large scale recirculation resulting from the interaction between rising bubble stream and side wall is the most dominant flow structure and there are small scale vortex structures moving along with large scale recirculation flow. It is also verified that the sum of 20 modes of velocity field has about 67.4% of total turbulent energy.
In this study, we delve into the effects of personalization algorithms on the creation of "filter bubbles," which can isolate individuals intellectually by reinforcing their pre-existing biases, particularly through personalized Google searches. By setting up accounts with distinct ideological learnings-progressive and conservative-and employing deep neural networks to simulate user interactions, we quantitatively confirmed the existence of filter bubbles. Our investigation extends to the deployment of an LSTM model designed to assess political orientation in text, enabling us to bias accounts deliberately and monitor their increasing ideological inclinations. We observed politically biased search results appearing over time in searches through biased accounts. Additionally, the political bias of the accounts continued to increase. These results provide numerical evidence for the existence of filter bubbles and demonstrate that these bubbles exert a greater influence on search results over time. Moreover, we explored potential solutions to mitigate the influence of filter bubbles, proposing methods to promote a more diverse and inclusive information ecosystem. Our findings underscore the significance of filter bubbles in shaping users' access to information and highlight the urgency of addressing this issue to prevent further political polarization and media habit entrenchment. Through this research, we contribute to a broader understanding of the challenges posed by personalized digital environments and offer insights into strategies that can help alleviate the risks of intellectual isolation caused by filter bubbles.
In this paper, the recirculation flow motion and mixing characteristics driven by air bubble flow in a rectangular water tank is studied. The Time-resolved PIV technique is adopted for the quantitative visualization and analysis. 532 nm Diode CW laser is used for illumination and orange fluorescent particle images are acquired by a PCO 10bit high-speed camera. To obtain clean particle images, 545 nm long pass optical filter and an image intensifier are employed and the flow rates of compressed air is changed from 2 l/min to 4 l/min at 0.5 MPa. The recirculation and mixing flow field is further investigated by the POD analysis technique. It is observed that the large scale counterclockwise rotation and main vortex is generated in the upper half depth from the free surface and one quarter width from the sidewall. When the flow rates are increased, the main vortex core is moved to the side and bottom wall direction.
A new printing process for LCD color filter is proposed in this work by using the localized laser heating, which is called laser-induced spray printing (LISP) process. The LISP is a non-contact process, which injects the ink from the donor substrate to the glass substrate by the bubble pressure induced by laser heating. The temperature distribution of the donor substrate is calculated numerically to explain the ink ejection phenomena. The composition of the ink was includes the red pigment, n-butanol, xylene, BCA and epoxy. Experiments were conducted by using the fiber laser system, and the color filter patterns were deposited successfully under the proper laser heating conditions.
Fine particles of water-soluble pharmaceuticals were prepared using a new micronization method, Carbon Dioxide Assisted Nebulization in a Bubble Dryer(CAN-BD). The process utilized mixtures of CO$_2$ in aqueous solution at supercritical conditions to form an emulsion. The aerosols were dried with pre-heated nitrogen, and the drying chamber was operated at near atmospheric pressure. The dry particles were collected on membrane filter at the bottom of the drying chamber. Several processing parameters such as flow rate, temperature, pressure, solid concentration and processing scale were accessed using NaCl, human serum albumin, and granulocyte-colony stimulating factor as model pharmaceuticals. This study empirically confirmed 'the political bias of the YouTube recommendation algorithm' and 'the selective exposure of user' to verify the Filter Bubble phenomenon of YouTube. For the experiment, two new YouTube accounts were opened and each account was trained simultaneously in a conservative and a liberal account for a week, and the "Recommended" videos were collected from each account every two days. Subsequently, through the text mining method, the goal of the research was to investigate whether conservative videos are more recommended in a righties account or lefties videos are more recommended in a lefties account. And then, this study examined if users who consumed political news videos via YouTube showed "selective exposure" received selected information according to their political orientation through a survey. As a result of the Text Mining, conservative videos are more recommended in the righties account, and liberal videos are more recommended in the lefties account. Additionally, most of the videos recommended in the righties/lefties account dealt with politically biased topics, and the topics covered in each account showed markedly definitive differences. And about 77% of the respondents showed selective exposure.

Desalination technology is a process to remove salt from water. There are three classified In accordance with the concentration of salt The concentration of sea water 15,000~50,000mg/l, brackish water 1,500~15,000mg/l, desalination less than 500mg/l.. In general, salt to remove for using a pre-treatment UF filter, but this study is new pre-treatment technology RO Membrane process technology Suspended particulate matter is said most were treated at the pre-treatment equipment, wheat affluent particulate material was removed from the MF filter. Influent SS 16.2mg /l The treatment was effective in treatment 0.05mg /l of 99% is removed. COD is reduced to 60% in the pre-treatment device, after treatment was reduced to 30% RO membrane. Influent COD 10.2mg/l treatment was removed 1.9mg/l. The removal rate is 81.9%. Desalination removes the ionic substances in the RO Membrane. Influent EC $978.8{\mu}s/cm$ and treatment showed a result of $18.7{\mu}s/cm$.
