  • This study is to evaluate the physical and mechanical characteristics of flowable backfill and search for the optimal mixture contents of it used for constructing underground power utilities. flowable backfill is known as soil-cement slurry, void fill, and controlled low-strength material(CLSM). The benefits of CLSM include reduced equipment costs, faster construction, re-excavation in the future, and the ability to place material in confined spaces such as narrow parts nearly impossible for compaction or perimeter of underground power cables. The flowable slurry mixture made with 9 types of soil and 6 types of accelerated mixtures in the laboratory were evaluated for bleeding, flowability, heat resistance, and unconfined compressive strength to meet the aim values of this study.

  • The EMC's rheological effects on molding process are evaluated in this study. When considering mold processing for IC packages, the major concerning items in current studies are incomplete fill, severe wire sweeping and paddle shifts etc. To simulate EMC's fast curing rheokinetics with 3D mold flow behavior, one should select appropriate rheometry which characterize each EMC's rheological motion and finding empirical parameters for numerical analysis current studies present the new rheometry with parallel plate rheometry for reactive rheokinetic experiments, the experiment and numerical analysis is done with the commercial higher filler loaded EMC for the case of Thin Quad Plant Packages (TQFP) with package thickness below 1.0 mm. The experimental results and simulation results based on new rheometry matches well in point of the prediction of wire sweep, filling behavior of melt front advancement and void trapping position.

  • $CdS_{0.69}Se_{0.31}$ single crystal grown by sublimation method. Hall effect measurement were carried out by the Van der Pauw method. The measurement values under the temperature were found to be carrier density $n=1.95{\times}10^{23}m^{-3}$, Hall coeffcient $RH=3.21{\times}10^{-5}m^3/c$, conductivity ${\sigma}=362.41{\Omega}^{-1}m^{-1}$, and Hall mobility ${\mu}=1.16{\times}10^{-2}m^2/v.s.$ Heterojunction solar cells of $n-CdS_{0.69}Se_{0.31}/p-Cu_{2-x}S_{0.69}Se_{0.31}$ were fabricated by the substitution reaction. The open-circuit voltage, short-circuit currint density, fill factor and power conversion efficiency of $n-CdS_{0.69}Se_{0.31}/p-Cu_{2-x}S_{0.69}Se_{0.31}$ heterojunction solar cell under $80mW/cm^2$ illumination were found to be 0.41V, $19.5mA/cm^2$, 0.75 and 9.99%, respectivity.

Solder Paste로 접합된 비아볼의 Ball-off에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ball-off of Via Balls Bonded by Solder Paste)

  • Package reliability test was conducted to investigate the effect of solder paste composition at BGA Package. It was found that the shape and size of the phase form are affected by the processing parameters. The material have used to fill in the via was Sn/36Pb/2Ag and Sn/0.75Cu type solder paste. Sn/36Pb/2Ag and Sn/0.75Cu paste were fabricated on Tape-BGA substrates by screen printing process, and via ball mount data were characterized with variations of dwell time of 85 seconds at reflow peak temperature at 22$0^{\circ}C$ or 24$0^{\circ}C$. The test condition was MRT 30 $^{\circ}C$/60 %RH/96 HR. Failures formed of a ball-off in solder paste process were observed by using a Optical Microscope and SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope). It was concluded that intermetallic layer growth played important roles in increasing solder fatigue strength for addition of Ag composition. The degradation of shear strength of solder composition is discussed.

  • 최근 자동차에까지 환경친화적인 제품을 의무화하는 규제가 증가하고 있어 전구에 사용되는 납땜을 용접으로 대체하기 위한 연구가 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 측면 스폿용접의 문제점을 파악하여 TIG 제살용접공정을 개발하였고 용접시 깨지기 쉬운 유리부의 용접을 위해 세라믹 구조물을 개발하였다. 또한 바닥부 구멍을 메울 수 있도록 기존 바닥부 용가재 용접의 단점을 보완하여 최적 공정 파라미터를 선정하였다. 마지막으로 전구 수명 시험과 내진성 평가를 실시하여 용접된 제동등의 신뢰성을 확인할 수 있었다.

The Effect of the Types of Learning Material and Epistemological Beliefs in an Ill-structured Problem Solving

  • This study investigated the effect of learning achievements and cognitive load according to different types of presenting learning materials and epistemological beliefs (EB). Learning achievements in this study were composed by retention and transfer of ill-structured problem. A total of 80 college students participated in the study. Prior to the learning, students were guided to fill out a questionnaire regarding epistemological beliefs and a prior knowledge test. The students of each group studied with a different type of reading material: full text (FT), full text including key questions (KeyFT) and full text including a concept map (CmFT). After a session of study was finished, they were asked to complete the posttest: retention and transfer. The results showed that there was a significant difference in transfer achievements. CmFT outperformed higher scores than the other types. There was no significant difference in retention among the groups. It is strongly believed that the types of presenting learning materials may have affected the understanding of ill-structured problem solving skills. Students with sophisticated EB showed higher achievements on retention and transfer than naive-EB and mixed-EB. Even though the data showed decrease of the cognitive load on the type of materials and EB, there were no significant differences on the cognitive load. We should consider a positive effect of types of presenting learning materials and EB enhancing capabilities of solving ill-structured problems in real life.

  • 지표 하부 공동의 붕괴는 인간 활동의 대상인 도로 및 건물의 안정성에 영향을 미치는 지반침하를 야기할수 있다. 그러므로 이러한 지반침하를 사전에 예방하기 위해서는 지하공동 충전에 의한 지반보강공법의 적용이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 장기적으로 친환경적인 칼슘알루미네이트 광물을 지반침하보강공법에 적용하고자 급결 충전물질 및 충전시스템, 급경사 광산채굴적 충전 손실 개선에 관한 현장적용성 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 급결 경화 충전물질은 급결 성능재료와 보조 재료로 구성된다. 개발된 재료는 급결 성능 및 수중 불분리 특성을 가지고 있어 수중공동에서 재료의 손실을 최소화하면서 효과적으로 지하댐을 형성하였다. Hg, Cd, As, $Cr^{6+}$, Pb와 같은 중금속 용출시험결과, 환경적으로도 적합한 물질로 분석되었다.

Time-dependent seismic risk analysis of high-speed railway bridges considering material durability effects

  • Based on the crucial role of high-speed railway bridges (HSRBs) in the safety of high-speed railway operations, it is an important approach to mitigate earthquake hazards by proceeding with seismic risk assessments in their whole life. Bridge seismic risk assessment, which usually evaluates the seismic performance of bridges from a probabilistic perspective, provides technical support for bridge risk management. The seismic performance of bridges is greatly affected by the degradation of material properties, therefore, material damage plays a nonnegligible role in the seismic risk assessment of the bridge. The effect of material damage is not considered in most current studies on seismic risk analysis of bridges, nevertheless. To fill the gap in this area, in this paper, a nonlinear dynamic time-history analysis has been carried out by establishing OpenSees finite element model, and a seismic vulnerability analysis is carried out based on the incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) method. On this basis, combined with the site risk analysis, the time-dependent seismic risk analysis of an offshore three-span HSRB in the whole life cycle has been conducted. The results showed that the seismic risk probabilities of both components and system of the bridge increase with the service time, and their seismic risk probabilities increase significantly in the last service period due to the degradation of the material strength, which demonstrates that the impact of durability damage should be considered when evaluating the seismic performance of bridges in the design and service period.

레진계 근관충전실러의 방사선 불투과성 및 세포 독성에 대한 평가 (Evaluation of the radiopacity and cytotoxicity of resinous root canal sealers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 세 가지 레진계 근관충전실러 (AH 26, EZ fill, AD Seal), 산화아연 유지놀계 근관충전실러(ZOB Seal) 그리고 수산화칼슘계 근관충전실러 (Sealapex)의 방사선 불투과성 및 세포독성을 평가한 것이다. 각 실러를 제조회사의 지시대로 혼합하여 직경 10 mm, 두께 1 mm로 시편을 제작한 후 ISO 6876/2001의 규격에 따라 교합필름을 이용하여 알루미늄 스텝웨지와 함께 방사선 촬영을 시행하였다. 방사선 사진을 디지털화하여 컴퓨터에 저장한 후 Scion image 프로그램을 이용하여 각 단계의 알루미늄 스텝웨지의 두께와 비교하였다. 각 재료의 세포 독성은 불멸화된 인간 치주인대세포 (immortalized human periodontal ligament cell, IPDL)에서 MTT 분석법을 이용하여 시행하였다. EZ fill이 가장 높은 방사선 불투과성을 나타내었고 Sealapex가 가장 낮은 방사선 불투과성을 나타내었다 (p < 0.05). AH 26, AD Seal, ZOB Seal은 중등도의 방사선 불투과성을 나타내었다. Sealapex를 제외한 모든 평가된 재료는 ISO 규격에 부합하는 방사선 불투과성을 보였다. 레진계 실러의 세포독성은 모든 실험 시간대에 걸쳐 다른 계통의 실러에 비해 낮게 나타났다 (p < 0.05) 아울러, EZ fill은 24및 48시간대에서는 AD Seal에 비해, 72 시간대에서는 다른 두 레진계 실러에 비해 높은 세포독성을 보였다. 그러나 레진계 실러에서 방사선 불투과성의 정도와 세포독성과의 관련성은 없었다 (p > 0.05). 이 실험 결과로 볼 때 레진계 실러는 다른 계통의 실러에 비해 방사선 불투과성 면에서 장점을 가지며 생체적합성면에서 우수하다고 사료된다.
