'Vow by Five Meritorious Subjects' was drawn up in November 14 of the second year of King Sejo's reign. The document was a pledge taken by King Sejo's son, Prince Chang, and the King's five meritorious officers in charge of national foundation (개국공신), affairs(정사공신), national defense(좌명공신), national security(정난공신), national building(좌익공신), and their offsprings in an attempt to consolidate their political power and to eliminate the opposition after having forged their coup as if King Tanjong abdicated his throne in favor of King Sejo. The signatories to this document numbered 137 persons whereas non-signatories were 83. It appears that those 83 non-signitorious were unabled to sign the vow for they were not present at the signing ceremony which followed the drafting of the document because all of them had, later on, been promoted to advice King Sejo.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of quality property of hospital information system, the quality level, and its effects. The participants were 730 employees who are using hospital information system in hospitals. In order to analyze the relationship, the quality property regulates the consideration of user's taste and the state of user's favor for the design of hospital information system, and the quality level regulates user's convenience and properness. The main results from this study can be summarized as follows, First, the perception of quality property for hospital information system showed few significance level between occupation, but revealed significance level between position. The evaluation of quality level showed significance level depending on the occupation and position. Second, quality property which generally affects to the quality level of the hospital information system were different between types of occupation and quality factor.

Aggravation of natural environment, improvements in income, internet diffusion, spread of five-day work a week, and population aging seem very different from each other. However they boil down to consumption. These culture patterns are changing into environment-friendly and productive housing culture. In other words, people might tend to have frequent contacts with not only environment-friendly housing in bustling cities but also woods that is environment friendly materials in their leisure time. In the period of people young and old alike are in favor of woodcrafts, this study was conducted for giving information to who speicalized in woodcrafts. Furthermore, the study shows that other countries also added grain and figure to woodcrafts for visually appealing.

Numerous foreign studies document perceived difference of the public toward male and female doctors, but little is known about the way Korean college students view the gender of the doctors. This study investigates whether or not college students evaluate the technical and socio-psychological skills differently depending on the gender of the doctors. This study also tests the association between the gender of respondents and the gender of doctors of their choice for several types of diseases. The 440 college students at one campus were selected using systematic stratified random sampling technique and were interviewed by questionnaire survey. Findings indicate that while the scores of technical skills are in favor of male doctors, the scores of socio-psychological skills are favorable to female doctors. We also find that there Is a statistically significant relationship between the gender of respondents and the gender of doctors of their choice.

The purpose of this study is analyzed that the case of remodeling of apartment housing and dweller's consciousness in proposed site of remodeling. The manner of this study focused on the analysis of previous study and documentary survey to the dweller's consciousness level in entire building unit and housing unit of remodeling. The study result was showed that the dwellers who have experienced the remodeling of housing units have a higher recognition than entire building unit, and dweller favor with the variation of extending balcony in remodeling.

The environment of the world becomes deteriorated rapidly as the result of the development of technology, the increase of the standard of living, and the growth of population. These circumstances called for environmental education in Korea, creating an environment course in the middle and high school in 1995. Despite the increasing importance of environmental education, however, the situation has not developed in its favor because of the current system of the university entrance examination. The school has failed to develop the curriculum of environmental education in the secondary education. This paper solves this problem internally in terms of the improvement of the contents, organization, teaching method (role-playing game), and teaching materials of environmental education, with a case study of the “noise” unit in 10th grade. This case study expects to change the attitude toward noise, increase the interest and knowledge in environment, and lead to responsible environmental behavior.

Novel fluoro-substituted apio dideoxyuncleoside(($\pm$)-3a and ($\pm$)-3b) were efficiently synthesized stalling from 1,3-dihydroxyacetone via Horner-Emmons olefination as a key step. Cyclization of fluoro ester ($\pm$)-6 under acidic conditions to the fluorolactone was smoothly proceeded in favor of trans-fluorolactone due to the favorable transition state with equatorial hydroxymethyl substituent. Unfortunately the final nucleosides($\pm$) -3a and ($\pm$)-3b were found to be inactive against several viruses such as HIV-1, HSV- I , HSV-2 and HCMV.

In this paper, the 100 % non-inductive current drive scenarios are addressed for the steady-state operation on KT-2 tokamak, with the profile control using fast wave and lower hybrid wave as the external tools. Considering the stability, the well-aligned current profiles with a reversed-shear and $q_{min}$ > 2.0 has been favor-able in high ${\beta}_{p}$ plasma, together with a possibly higher bootstrap current fraction. Therefore, the effects of the auxiliary heating power profile on the control of MHD favorable current profile are evaluated in detail.

In this article I discuss the main results of our research in space biology from the simple early investigations with human Iymphocytes in the early eighties until the projects in tissue engineering of the next decade on the international space station ISS. The discovery that T Iymphocyte activation is nearly totally depressed in vitro in 0g conditions showed that mammalian single cells are sensitive to the gravitational environment. Such finding had important implications in basic research, medicine and biotechnology. Low gravity can be used as a tool to investigate complicated and still obscure biological process from a new perspective not available to earth-bound laboratories. Low gravity may also favor certain bioprocesses involving the growth of tissues and thus lead to commercial and medical applications. However, shortage of crew time and of other resources, lack of sophisticated instrumentation, safety constraints pose serious limits to biological endeavors in space laboratories.

This paper focused on analyzing the effect against the Chinese Economy of Korea-China FTA and the trend of China-launching FTAs. And then this paper intended to deduce policy implications against the negotiations of Korea-China FTA. The points that Korea should consider in the process of the research and negotiations of Korea-China FTA are as follows: First, it is necessary that Korea should negotiate with China only in terms of the economic sector, excluding non-economic sectors which includes politics, national securities and so on. Second, Korea should put on the lists the every possible sectors that Korea has comparative advantages in. It is essential that the sectors include services in trade, TRIPs, ect. Third, the Korean government should put investment arrangements on the negotiating lists and ask China to afford a special favor to Korean investment In China. Forth, the Korean government should set the level of its tariff, considering the nation's trade deficit that Korea-China FTA will bing about.
