1993년 10월 23-24일과 1994년 7월 23-25일의 2회에 걸쳐 진도의 7개 지소에서 채집한 해양 하르팍티쿠스류를 검토한 결과 6과 8속 9종 및 아종이 동정되었다. 이 중 6종[Tachidius (Tachidius) discipes Giesbrecht, 1881; T.(Neotachidius) triangularis Shen and Tai, 1963; Scutellidium longicauda acheloides Ito. 1976; Alteutha depressa(Baird, 1837); Amonardia normani(Brady, 1872); Onychocamptus bengalensis(Sewell, 1934)]은 한국에서 처음으로 보고되는 종으로, 분류학적으로 고찰하는 한편 도판을 작성하였다.

캄보디아와 라오스에는 지금까지 가루깍지벌레과 25종 및 18종이 각각 보고되어 있다. 2015년 이들 지역에서 가루깍지벌레과14종이 채집 되었으며, 그 중 캄보디아에서 2종[Antonina graminis (Maskell, 1897), Coccidohystrix insolita (Green, 1908)], 라오스에서 5 종[Nipaecoccus viridis (Newstead, 1894), Paracoccus marginatus Williams & Granara de Willink, 1992, Phenacoccus solani (Ferris, 1918), Rastrococcus iceryoides (Green, 1908)]을 처음으로 보고한다.

We investigated cladoceran fauna from 71 study areas in South Korea. Sixty-two taxa were found, of which there were 30 planktonic and 25 littoral-benthic cladoceran species. In the present study, taxa of cladocera were identified by biographical traits. Species endemic to the Far East were found in the northernmost areas of South Korea, whereas Palearctic species were found in the southernmost areas. Generally, coexistence of cladoceran species in northern and southern areas was observed, implying possible faunistic complexes of cladocera in various areas of South Korea. We believe that further studies conducted in different habitats will greatly expand our knowledge of the biodiversity of cladocera in South Korea.

지난 1991년 1993년초 약 1개월간씩의 2차에 걸쳐 헝가리 자연사박물관에 소장된 북한산 표본을 검경한 경과 302종의 자나방류를 확이하였으며 그중 24종이 한반도에서는 처음 보고되는 미기록들이었으므로 그들의 원전 채집기 그리고 분포를 정리 발표한다.

한국산 최서남단에 위치하는 소흑산도일대에 분포하는 개미상을 조사하기 위하여 1994년 4월과 7월 조사한 결과 537 colony의 표본을 채집하여 동정함으로서 소흑산도에 분포하는 37종의 개미상이 처음으로 밝혀졌다. 37종중 긴털톱니비늘개미(신칭) Smithistruma inceria Brown와 나도네눈개미(신칭) Camponotus nawai lto는 한반도에서는 처음으로 그 분포가 밝혀졌다.

Six species of springtails (Collembola) are reported for the first time from North Korea: Pachyotoma takeshitai (Kinoshita, 1916), Folsomia bisetosa Gisin, 1953 and Agrenia agilis Fjellberg, 1986 of Isotomidae, Entomobrya sibirica Stach, 1963 and Willowsia buski (Lubbock, 1870) of Entomobryidae, and Ptenothrix setosa (Krausbauer, 1898) of Dicyrtomidae. The genus Pachyotoma Bagnall, 1949 is mentioned for the first time from the Korean Peninsula. In order to facilitate the identification of these species, illustrations and short diagnoses are provided and the poorly known P. takeshitai is described in detail. Ptenothrix setosa and E. sibirica link the Korean peninsular fauna with Central Asia, P. takeshitai shows the zoogeographical connection of the Korean Peninsula with the Japanese Islands and A. agilis has a trans-pacific distribution. Folsomia bisetosa is an interesting circumpolar element in the Korean fauna while W. buski is a subcosmopolitan species.

Eight calanoid species of 4 genera in 4 families are reported from the various brackish waters such as estuaries, brackish-water lakes, and coastal marshes in South Korea. Among them, Eurytemora affinis (Poppe) and Acartia (Acanthacartia) tsuensis Ito are newly added to Korean copepod fauna. Collection data, brief descriptions, illustrations and distribution maps for the eight species are prepared. A key to the genera and species of the brackish-water calanoids from Korea is also presented.

As a result of the faunistic study on the subterranean cyclopoid copepods, four species of three genera in the family Cyclopidae are reported from nine limestone caves and a lava tube in South Korea: Megacyclops magnus (Marsh, 1920), Acanthocyclops orientalis Borutzky, 1966, A, robustus (Sars, 1863) and Diacyclops suoensis Ito, 1956, all of them new to Korean fauna. This paper deals with the taxonomic accounts and illustrations of the four species with the redescription of A. orientalis. This is the first taxonomic study on the cave-dwelling cyclopoid copepods from Korea.

As a result of the faunistic survey of the free-living marine nematodes from coastal algal beds and sublittoral sands in South Korea, we report a meiobenthic species, Desmoscolex cosmopolites Timm, 1970, for the first time from the western Pacific as well as Korean waters. Among 17-ring Desmoscolex species, D. cosmopolites is represented by the following combination of characters: absence of subventral setae on 10th and 14th main rings and the presence of subdorsal setae with large angular lance-shaped tip. A detailed morphological redescription is provided using a scanning electron microscope and a differential interference contrast microscope. Character comparison between D. cosmopolites and its allied congeneric species is also analysed.

밤나방과에 속하는 Eupsilia boursini Sugi, Valeria tricristata Draudt, Othosia satoi Sugi 등 3종이 한국에서 처음으로 보고된다. 새로이 밝혀진 미기록 3종에 대해 성충의 외부형태적 특징과 암수생식기를 간략한 기술과 함께 도해하였다.
