Image-generated AI is rapidly emerging as a powerful tool to augment human creativity and transform the art and design process through deep learning capabilities. The purpose of this study was to propose and demonstrate the feasibility of a new design development method that combined traditional design methods and technology by constructing image-generated AI prompts based on artists' formative elements. The study methodology consisted of analyzing Kazmir Malevich's theoretical considerations and applying them to AI prompts for design, print pattern development, and 3D digital design. This study found that the suprematist works of Kazmir Malevich were suitable as design and print pattern prompts due to their clear geometric shapes, colors, and spatial arrangement. The AI-prompted designs and print patterns produced diverse results quickly and enabled an efficient design process compared to traditional methods, although additional refinement was required to perfect the details. The AI-generated designs were successfully produced as 3D garments, thereby demonstrating that AI technology could significantly contribute to fashion design through its integration with artistic principles. This study has academic significance in that it proposes a prompt composition method applicable to fashion design by combining AI and artistic elements. It also has industrial significance in that it contributes to design innovation and the implementation of creative ideas by presenting an AI-based design process that can be practically applied.
This study analyzed the effects of optimism and innovativeness, the two drivers of a consumer's technological readiness to use an augmented reality(AR) fashion shopping service within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The survey was conducted on 249 people (males = 58; females = 191) in their 20s who were willing to participate in the AR experience. Data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling by AMOS 22.0. The results indicated that a greater level of perceived optimism had a positive influence on the ease of use and usefulness of the technology. The findings also show that consumers with a high degree of innovativeness tend to have a higher level of playfulness toward AR fashion shopping. Regarding the effects of user beliefs, ease of use had a positive effect on the perception of usefulness and playfulness with higher levels implying a higher consumer intention to adopt an AR fashion shopping service. In addition, this study reveals the moderating effect of consumers with high-fashion versus those with low-fashion innovativeness. For the latter, technological innovation had an insignificant effect on playfulness, thus indicating that consumers with low interest in fashion did not enjoy AR fashion shopping even if the technology was highly innovative. Nevertheless, the analysis confirms the possibility that experiencing a fashion product through AR technology could replace the actual experience of wearing the products.
As a designer, Rei Kawakubo had become one of the most influential woman of the 20th century. Comme des Garçons, which means "like boys"-what women in the early 1980s were least supposed to be-expressed criticism of the prevailing social construct of women and, importantly, of the very concept of fashion. The press had a field day with the so-called post Hiroshima look, with its aesthetic of destruction, poverty, and hunger and with its depressing mood engendered by the use of the color black. This research divided the change of design transition on Kawakubo's fashion by the three categories. The first category was experimental pattern, the second category was esthetics of omission and the third category was innovation of body consciousness. The costume messages through these design works of Kawakubo could summarize 5 items, punk sprit, beyond sex, reality, proposal of new body consciousness and representation of black.
The purpose of this study was to establish which factors were considered when fashion companies discussed the intention of employing the internet in various capacities. A total of 228 candidates were surveyed between 17-11-07 and 17-01-08. The collected data was used to conduct various descriptive and comparative analyses. Firstly, environmental factors considered important were internal pressure, external pressure and uncertainty of the market. Organizational factors considered important were support of the chief executive officer, capacity of the organization and future directivity. Profit factors considered important were elevation of the business, customer relationship management, advantage of the internet and reduction of expenses. Prohibitive factors considered important were miscellaneous expenses, secession of the customer, internal opposition of the organization and convertible expenses. Secondly, fashion companies regarded internal pressure, external pressure, support of the chief executive officer, capacity of the organization, future directivity, elevation of the business, customer relationship management, advantage of the internet and miscellaneous expenses as important when discussing the introduction of the internet.

The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of fashion life styles of TV-home shoppers on their fashion goods purchasings. This study analyzed TV home shoppers grouped into clusters based on their fashion life styles and identified their product-related evaluative criteria and purchasing intention according to clusters. This study also analyzed whether there are differences in clusters according to their socio-economic status. Utilizing the convenient sampling method, the sample of the study is composed of women aged over 20 living in the Seoul metropolitan area. Of 380 distributed, 196 useful questionnaires were returned. The data were analyzed using factor analysis, cluster analysis, $\chi$$^2$analysis, and One-way ANOVA. The results are as follows: Regarding fashion life styles, 5 factors, 1) fashion leadership, 2) shopping-involvement, 3) fashion image, 4) economics and 5) anti-fashion attitude were obtained. Based on the factor scores, 4 clusters, 1) aesthetic-orientation, 2) economics and fashion innovation-orientation, 3) conspicuous consumption-orientation and 4) anti-fashion attitude, were identified. Regarding the product-related evaluative criteria, there were significant differences in price, fashionability, design, size, brand reliability, refund policy, and appearances when worn according to clusters. There were also significant differences in purchasing intention when purchasing low price products and fashion items such as under wears, night and home wears, suits, leather and fur clothes, purse and bags, and shoes. Regarding the socio-econmic status, age, marital status, and occupation were significantly different according to clusters.
This study aimed to grasp the perceptions and trends in fashion platforms and fashion smart factories using big data analysis. As a research method, big data analysis, fashion platform, and smart factory were identified through literature and prior studies, and text mining analysis and network analysis were performed after collecting text from the web environment between April 2019 and April 2021. After data purification with Textom, the words of fashion platform (1,0591 pieces) and fashion smart factory (9750 pieces) were used for analysis. Key words were derived, the frequency of appearance was calculated, and the results were visualized in word cloud and N-gram. The top 70 words by frequency of appearance were used to generate a matrix, structural equivalence analysis was performed, and the results were displayed using network visualization and dendrograms. The collected data revealed that smart factory had high social issues, but consumer interest and academic research were insufficient, and the amount and frequency of related words on the fashion platform were both high. As a result of structural equalization analysis, it was found that fashion platforms with strong connectivity between clusters are creating new competitiveness with service platforms that add sharing, manufacturing, and curation functions, and fashion smart factories can expect future value to grow together, according to digital technology innovation and platforms. This study can serve as a foundation for future research topics related to fashion platforms and smart factories.

The growth of digital news media and the stock price index has resulted in economic fluctuations in the fashion industry. This study examines the impact of fashion industry news and macroeconomic changes on the Textile & Wearing Apparel KOSPI over the past five years. An auto-regressive integrated moving average exogenous time series model was conducted using the fashion industry stock market index, the news topic index, and macro-economic indicators. The results indicated the topics of "Cosmetic business expansion" and "Digital innovation" impacted the Textile & Wearing Apparel KOSPI after one week, and the topics of "Pop-up store," "Entry into the Chinese fashion market," and "Fashion week and trade show" affected it after two weeks. Moreover, the topics of "Cosmetic business expansion" and "Entry into the Chinese fashion market" were statistically significant in the macroeconomic environment. Regarding the effect relation of Textile & Wearing Apparel KOSPI, "Cosmetic business expansion," "Entry into the Chinese fashion market," and consumer price fluctuation showed negative effects, while the private consumption change rate, producer price fluctuation, and unemployment change rate had positive effects. This study analyzes the impact of media framing on fashion industry business cycles and provides practical insights into managing stock market risk for fashion companies.
The Korean fashion industry is composed of originality, technique and business management. It is going to be the main role in the living and cultural industry in 21th century as a strategic advanced industry. On the other hand, more than 15,000 persons who majored in correlated fashion are graduated from universities, colleges, and fashion schools every year. But professional and competent persons specialized in clothings are very insufficient. So cultivation of the talented for fashion industry must be suitablely and differentially carried out, according to regional distinction or characteristics of each university, college level, institute and so on. At same time, it is for the subdivided professional educations in fashion field, also. Education institutions related fashion have to practice not only theory but also field-oriented education of fashion industry. The fashion enterprise must invest resolutely in reeducations for incoming and reading employees, too. Briefing the program of cultivating the competent as follows : (1) The execution of certification programes based on professional job series. (2) Cultivation of the talent by cooperation of industry and educational field. (3) Upbringing the specialists who have both abilities of foreign language and living cultural profession. (4) Establishment of a base oriented north-east Asia as the central fashion business. (5) Efficient using of multi-media. (6) Innovation of technology. (7) Preferential treatment of skilled labors apparel industry field. (8) Establishment of the Korean Society of Fashion Business for a bridge of industrial-educational complex and government, for cultivation of the talent. The programs of 'cultivation of the talent' must be differed from to whom', 'what', 'how long'. But the commonness in all is to need the stimulative education and creativity. Through it, 'what and how think' and 'how application' to all directions is acquired.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the characteristics of the fashion narrative from the commercial and artistic viewpoints by identifying and evaluating the attributes of the fashion narrative and analyzing the fashion narrative focusing on various cases according to fashion media. Louis Vuitton, a brand of the Louis Vuitton $Mo{\ddot{e}}t$ Hennessy (LVMH) group that operates the entire fashion community platform, is recognized as an influential luxury company with enormous capital and capabilities. This study targeted Louis Vuitton to examine the fashion narrative. The common results of Louis Vuitton's fashion narrative according to the communication platform are as follows. First, it emphasizes well-designed craftsmanship and artistry to convey the value and meaning of the brand. Second, it expresses the lifestyle of the bourgeoisie using traveling for finding life purpose, nature, and freedom as common denominators. Louis Vuitton connects, shares, and engages with customers by crossing the communication platform and trying multi-sensory changes based on the fashion narrative of the 'artification' message encompassing craftsmanship, innovation, and travel. The fashion narrative of Louis Vuitton applies tools (e.g., design, direction, stage, and props) differently according to the nature of media. In other words, the fashion narrative in the form of transmedia storytelling is a marketing communication strategy that indicates the representation means and direction of a brand's goals by remediating the brand narrative in various ways through the communication platform.
This study is a part of the integrated investigation of the design of Yves Saint Laurent, and aims at examining the background of the appearance of art inspiration which the artistic quality and originality are particularly seen. And also, I would like to examine the source of the power that transcends periods, dealing with issues in the design. From the mid 1960 to 1970, Yves Saint Laurent who leaded the global fashion trend, displayed the Art Inspiration works with the innovation of fashion in Paris, rediscovery of the trends and colors in Modern Art, and background of Entourage and so forth. He brought in the various artistic genres to the fashion, and his Haute Couture collections which were created by the passion for the movie and theater art, expressed the freedom through his strong identity in the Modern Art & Culture and the atmosphere of that period. Eventually his works are reappeared transcending the generations as the fundamental power of Modernity, through the restricted line of his own, strong contrast of colors, and insight for the future.
