This research analyzes the status of clothes purchase and the size fit of the clothes for kindergarten children in the Daegu city area. The total of 344 questionnaires were analyzed. The summary and the conclusion are as follows: First, the frequency of accompanying children when purchasing appeared mostly 'sometimes accompany'. Second, the parents appeared 'sometimes reflect children's opinions'. Third, the main information source was 'store display'. The main place of purchase was large discount stores, internet home-shopping, and department stores (respectively) with significant differences in the age of the parent(p<.05) and monthly incomes(p<.001). In the clothes size selection, 72.1% of the parents selected 'one size larger' at time purchase and showed asignificant difference by monthly income. Repair-experience after purchase appeared in 31.4% of the samples because of the inadequate length and width of the clothes. The unfit clothes parts were in the order of pant length, sleeve length, waist part, jacket length, pant width, hip part, and crotch, which showed a significant difference in children based on gender. The salient purchasing point for child clothing was in the order of 'size fit', 'color and pattern', 'design' and 'convenience in action'. It is important to consider that kindergarten children need adequate size for growing and convenient pattern designs (that include materials at stretching parts) for positive acting because they are in a period of frequent activity and growth.
The purpose of this study was to better assess and understand current needs and wearing sensation, including clothing behavior for early elderly women in the Korea and USA. The subjects in this study were 135 and 173 early elderly women in the Korea and USA. This research was done by a survey method and chi-square test. The major objectives of this study were as follows; First, it was found that the early elderly women of Korea utilize mostly human information as information source when purchasing clothing, whereas those of USA mostly media information. The women of Korea were found to put most emphasis in esthetic aspects of clothing, whereas those of USA in comfort. The most frequently worn clothes by the early elderly women of Korea were jumper, T-shirt and slacks, whereas jacket, sweater and slacks by those of USA. As for skirt, flare skirt was highly preferred in Korea, whereas A-line skirt in USA. Second, regarding the wearing sensation of ready-made clothing, the wearing sensation of jacket was found to be worst on the shoulder in Korea, whereas on the waist in USA. And the early elderly women of both Korea and USA had poor wearing sensations due to the length of sleeve, of trouser, of skirt and of one-piece dress. The comparison of the clothing behavior and wearing sensation of the early elderly women between Korea and USA showed a greater difference in clothing behavior than in wearing sensation.

They were designers merchandisers of apparel companies and buyers of department stores. The results of empirical studies were summarized as follows: 1) Buyers & merchandisers recognized domestic market responses as the most important information source for selecting foreign brand. The critical problem of buying and brand license was deficiency of professionals in fashion retail 2) Buyers & merchandisers primarily recognized brand identity and exclusive style of the product when selecting puoduct or vendor. 3) Buyers & merchandisers primarily recognized return policy and good delivery of the vendor when selecting vendor 4). There were relationships among incormation sources selective criteria of product/vendor and buyer's characteristics.
Existing tree construction mechanisms are classified into source-based trees and center-based trees. The source-based trees produce a source-rooted tree with a low delay. However, for the applications with multiple senders, the management overheads for routing tables and resource reservations are too high. The center-based trees are easy to implement and manage, but a priori configuration of candidate center nodes is required, and the optimization mature such as tree cost and delay is not considered. In this paper, we propose a new multicast tree building algorithm. The proposal algorithm basically builds a non-center based shared tree. In particular, any center node is not pre-configured. In the purposed algorithm, a multicast node among current tree nodes is suitably assigned to each incoming user: Such a node is selected in a fashion that tree cost and the maximum end-to-end delay on the tree are jointly minimized. The existing and proposed algorithms are compared by experiments. In the simulation results, it is shown that the proposed algorithm approximately provides the cost saving of 30% and the delay saving of 10%, compared to the existing approaches. In conclusion, we see that the cost and delay aspects for multicast trees can be improved at the cost of additional computations.

This study examined consumers' perceived anxiety regarding how safe the clothing and lifestyle products are as well as influencing factors. Data was collected using a self-ministered online survey of 1,126 adult consumers. The results of this study showed that consumer anxiety about chemicals and hygiene product safety had a greater impact on the anxiety perception of general safety than clothing and beauty products. It was confirmed that the reliability of information source (government agency, mass media, expert group, and internet community/blog) varies depending on the level of consumers' overall safety anxiety. The study also found the effect of consumers' subjective perception of health on safety anxiety about clothing and lifestyle products. Further, the moderating effect of age in the research model was confirmed. This result can be a useful guide to marketing communication for developing consumer safety-related policies to reduce consumer anxiety. The information will also help consumers make informed decisions that lead to safe and sustainable consumption.

Four hundred and six questionnaires were used for data analysis. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 software with various techniques such as factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, cluster analysis, ANOVA test, Duncan test, frequency analysis and $X^2-test$. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The factors for clothing involvement were found to be interests and pleasure in clothes, coordination of clothes, symbolic representation, fashionableness, and risk awareness. The hairdo involvement factors were found to be interests and pleasure in hairdo, fashionableness, symbolic representation, risk awareness, and coordination of hairdo. The factors for attitude toward hairdo were found to be orientations toward leader's fashion conformity, distinct individuality, constancy, and consciousness of others. 2. According to the level of clothing involvement, three types of group were defined. When difference in the hairdo involvement was analyzed, all factors showed significant differences. When difference in the hairdo attitude was analyzed, significant differences were found in orientations toward leader's fashion conformity, distinct individuality and consciousness of others. 3. Reason for choosing hair style is 'it's because they wanted the hair style', 'it's easy to groom', 'it's what they usually choose'. Average hair grooming time is less than 5 minute had higher rate, and then less than 10 minute came second. The money spend on buying consumption goods for hair treatment per month had the highest rate on spending 10,000 to 20,000won and the source of information on hairdo had the highest rate on hairdresser. The reason for choosing hair saloon had the highest rate on hairdressing skill, which shows that people choose hair saloons which they can trust on hair saloon's hairdressing skill.

The purposes of this study were to segment male university students on the basis of benefit sought in clothing, and to investigate knitwear image preference and purchasing behaviors of each segmented market. The research method was a survey and subjects were 249 male university students in Daejeon and Chungnam province. The questionnaire consisted of measurement items for benefit sought in clothing, knitwear image preference, knitwear purchasing behaviors, and subject's demographic attributions. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ${\chi}^2$ test, ANOVA and Scheffe test. The results were as follows. First, male university students were segmented into 6 consumer types (practicality pursuit, individuality pursuit, comport pursuit, brand pursuit, social status pursuit, and unconcern type) by benefit sought in clothing. Second, male university students generally preferred dandy image and causal image, however, brand pursuit type more preferred trendy image, and practicality pursuit type more preferred active image than other consumer types. Third, the segmented markets showed many differences on knitwear purchasing behaviors. On clothing selection criteria, practicality pursuit type considered resonable price as important, whereas brand pursuit type considered brand reputation. On fashion information source, individuality pursuit type considered store display and other people's clothing, while unconcern type considered advice from friend and family. On main purchasing place, individuality pursuit type more used speciality store with no brand, whereas brand pursuit type more used department store and brand store than other consumer types. The results of this study supported that benefit sought in clothing can be useful as an effective variable for market segmentation.
