This study investigates differences in demographic characteristics, shopping orientation, perceived risk, and satisfaction after purchase among consumer types. This study classifies consumer types according to their channel transition behaviors between the online and offline channels with a focus on the steps of information research and buying decision in buying decision-making process. The four consumer groups are as follows: off-off type (offline research-offline purchase), on-on type (online research-online purchase), on-off type (online research-offline purchase) and on/off-off type (online and offline research-offline purchase), off-on type (offline research-online purchase) and on/off-on type (online and offline research-online purchase). Data were collected from adults over 20 years old who had bought clothes within one year. The questionnaire was carried out from July, 2019 using a professional internet research panel; in addition, 500 sets of useful data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, chi-squared test, ANOVA and Duncan-test using SPSS 21.0. The findings showed significant differences among the classified consumer groups for consumer demographics, shopping orientation, perceived risk, and purchase after satisfaction. The results imply that consumers show a variety of channel transition behaviors based on demographic variables, shopping orientation, and perceived risk. Understanding and adapting to consumer purchase behaviors will allow company distribution channels to be effectively managed and eventually increase consumer satisfaction as well as company sales volume.

This study was aimed at finding the effects of consumer experience related to experience providers of apparel companies on brand loyalty. The participants of this study included experienced SPA fashion brand shopping female consumers who are between the ages of 20 to 50 residing in Seoul. A total of 285 questionnaires were used for the survey of this study. Methods of data analysis included. The result of this study revealed the 9 factors of experience providers in apparel companies: co-branding, advertising, visual/verbal identity & signage, design & quality, physical environment, people, emotional environment, websites, and sales promotion. The 5 factors of consumer experiences were behavioral experience, relational experience, affective experience, intellectual experience, and sensory experience. The experience providers of the apparel company had a significant impact on consumer experience of SPA, such as behavioral experience, sensory experience, affective experience, intellectual experience and relational experience. Of all, consumer experience of SPA as well as behavioral, sensory and affective experiences had a positive impact on brand loyalty. In conclusion, experience providers, at the disposal of the apparel company, are tactical implementation components for creating consumer experience. Therefore, the marketing strategy of apparel companies should be focused on eliciting affirmative responses from consumers.
A rapidly shifting, hyper-sensitive modern fashion industry, coupled with an increasingly developing global environmental concern, has seen to an ever-imperative role for corporate social responsibility (CSR) to play in the successful operation of fashion companies. This study primarily investigates effective measures for successful CSR implementation in both corporate and consumer domains, looking at Patagonia, an exemplar company with an environmental mission, to understand the central contributions of active consumer engagement to the success of CSR initiatives. We explore consumer admiration as a concept necessary to elevate CSR practices from image maintenance to genuine engagement and advocacy, and how such admiration could be cultivated on the consumer-side, investigating perceived CSR authenticity and corporate self-sacrifice as primary determinants. Specifically, we speculate the asymmetric role of consumers' moral identity, revealing that moral identity symbolization positively interacts with both determinants while negatively moderating the relationship of these intentions and consumer admiration. We derive our analysis from diverse international and Korean data, concluding with theoretical and managerial implications for domestic and international companies in pursuit of environmental CSR campaigns that bridge consumer and company, as well as limitations and future research directions.
Although an extensive body of research exists on sports uniform colors in the West,there is a dearth of research on South Korean sports uniforms, especially in the domain of professional teams ports. This study aims to identify and analyze the colors of sports uniforms of 56 professional teams listed on the Korea Professional Sports Association (KPSA) for a range of team sports (e.g. football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and golf). The number of colors of each team's uniform and the ordinal ranking of these colors were recorded and analyzed. Furthermore,the number of colors and parent company colors were grouped by gender and league. Overall, 80.4% of the teams preferred three to four colors with white, black, blue, and red being the most popular colors. Every team's primary, secondary, or graphic logo colors on their uniforms included white. The gender variable was partially significant, emphasizing culturally significant colors such as pink. The parent company's color showed a significant connection with the team's uniform colors. This result was related to the historical origins of South Korean professional team sports and their unique relationship with chaebols. Based on the findings, this study concludes that visibility and contrast factors, as well as historical aspects relating to the concept of glocalization play an important role in the color choices of South Korean team uniforms.
This study investigated the role of YouTube in providing fashion information and explored how fashion companies and individual YouTubers used this platform to communicate with consumers and disseminate fashion contents. This research identified two main types of YouTube information providers: fashion companies and fashion YouTubers. It focused on characteristics of YouTube fashion information (such as informativity, novelty, usefulness, authenticity, and enjoyment) and their impact on consumer needs satisfaction, information satisfaction, and information acceptance. An online survey was conducted with female consumers aged 20 to 39 years, analyzing responses to assess how YouTube fashion information affected consumer behavior and decision-making. Using SPSS for statistical analysis, results indicated that usefulness and enjoyment significantly influenced information acceptance, particularly with fashion companies showing a stronger impact from usefulness, while authenticity and enjoyment were more influential for fashion YouTubers. Moreover, mediating effects of consumer needs satisfaction and information satisfaction on the relationship between fashion information characteristics and information acceptance were examined. Findings revealed that various characteristics had different mediating effects based on whether the information provider was a fashion company or a fashion YouTuber. Notably, enjoyment and authenticity played crucial roles in mediating consumer needs satisfaction. Overall, this study provides insights into how YouTube serves as a vital channel for fashion information, influencing consumer satisfaction and behavior. It also offers practical implications for fashion marketers on how to leverage YouTube effectively to meet consumer needs and enhance information acceptance, thereby proposing strategic marketing recommendations for fashion companies and YouTubers.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the character of consumers and the situation of domestic kidult fashion market. By grasping the distribution of kidult generation and the factors of product-selection based on products images, this research could be a substantial data to kidult associated company product planning and marketers. Subjects for this study were 213 Daegu women from 20 to 30 yearn of age who have high propensity to kidult. The statistical treatment of material used by SPSS 1.0 program consists of frequency analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, cluster analysis, and t-test. As a results, the characteristics of kidult consumers are classified as six factors. On image toward of kidult fashion goods, there was a significant difference 20 and 30 aged generation. According to fashion goods group, each group recognized on image of fashion products as follow: Group A is 'fancy', group B is 'childish', group C are 'familiarity', group D was recognized as 'fancy' and was identical to A on adjective expression, but was different A on recognition. All consumer characteristics of fun, character, girlish, nostalgia have a significant relation with the recurrence of products selection factor, and its order was character, girlish, nostalgia, and fun.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in perception and attitude of fashion major college students before and after receiving their design copyright education. A questionnaire survey was distributed to 200 fashion major college students in Seoul. The results of this study were as follows: First, 46.0% of fashion major students had an experience of purchasing counterfeit fashion goods. Out of those, 81.5% students acknowledged that the product was counterfeit and still purchased it. Categories of counterfeit goods purchased were bags, clothes, and accessories, in order of popularity. The students reported purchasing counterfeit goods twice and three times, in order of popularity. The prices of the counterfeit products were 100,000 to under 200,000 won, and under 100,000 won, in order of popularity. Second, the cognitive domain, the practical domain, and the value domain all showed significant differences between before and after the copyright education. Among these, the differences in the practical domain were the most distinctive. Third, prior to receiving their copyright education, most of the students had no perception about the design copyright system and so most of the students gained helpful information from the education. For future design copyright education, the students want to learn about how to protect their own designs, how to apply copyright in a fashion company, how to avoid invading other people's designs, and categories of design copyright.
This study explored Jeju natural resources with healing function and tried mixed dyeing of Ecklonia cava and onion shell to improve dyeing. The results showed that silk dyed with a mixture of Ecklonia cava powder and onion shells rather than Jeju's individually dyed silk had better color power to develop fashion products. In addition, all friction lightning bolts, dry cleaning and sweat mining levels were excellent as well as excellent UV protection rates. The three baenaet jeogori worn during a birth anniversary and four rest suits that infants and children can wear comfortably maintained the dyeing and functioning of Ecklonia cava and onion shell mixture that was proven through abnormal experiments. For the three baenaet jeogori and two rest suits, the company has developed a fashion product recognized for high value-added merchandise using a variegation dyeing method made in a handmade style for expressing a person's natural sensibility through dyeing fabrics. Based on the results of the above research, it is expected that various fashion product developments will be possible by dyeing a mixture of functional and colorful extracts of the drug and colorful dye.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the level and the major causes of job stress, and the causes of the high level of job turnover rate of fashion merchandisers and fashion designers. The study also examined the correlations among the major causes of job stress, job results and job turnover rate. A part of the questionnaire consisted of questions on major causes of job stress, job result, and intention and trial to leave a job. The subjects were to rate on 5 point Likert-type scales. The other part included the questions on demographic and individual characteristics of the subjects and their company characteristics. For the survey, the subjects were 99 fashion merchandisers and 128 fashion designers who are employed by mens or womens wear manufacturers. The SAS PC+ package was used to calculate frequency, Cronbach $\alpha$, multiple regressions. The results of the study were as follows: 1. The high degree of the job results were resulted from the high degree of specialties in their job characteristics, high contentment in human relations, career development and income, and low role conflict. 2. Stronger intentions and more trials to leave their job were correlated to better task performance in the workplace, lower commitment to their job, and lower job satisfaction. 3. Higher level of job stress caused by interpersonal relationship in the organization and contentment in career development and income affected stronger intentions and more trials to leave their job.
The purpose of this research was to evaluate the possibility of sustainable development of online advertisements conducted by fashion companies. Factors composed of sustainable development indexes of online advertisement that had been developed in previous studies were identified, and then the relevance between purchase intention and advertisement experience was evaluated. An online survey of 573 persons in the 20 to 40 age range who own mobile phone and have experienced online advertisements of a fashion brand or a fashion company was conducted. The data collected from the survey and the results are as follows. First, the validity and reliability from confirmatory factor analysis of six factors (namely, personal information protection, web use infringement, advertisement expression harmfulness, advertisement expression objectivity, emotional responsibility, and environment-friendly) and 21 questions was confirmed. Second, it confirmed that consumers gave low points to the evaluation of sustainable development indexes of online advertisement of fashion companies. In particular, that consumers gave low points with regard to both environmental friendliness and web use infringement. Third, it was identified that personal indexes such as personal information protection, web use infringement, and indexes relating to advertisement expressions do not directly influence the consumer's purchase intention. However, social indexes like emotional responsibility and environmental friendliness do have an influence on the consumer's positive action intention.
