This study investigates the effects of individual and group level factors on the use of GSS (Group Support System) and task performance from GSS use. GSS facilitates the group work, so that GSS adoption is not necessarily influenced only by individual perceptions on information systems. Adaptive Structuration Theory (AST) in our study to explain the adoption and success from GSS use. AST contends that the success of IS is not necessarily the technical fit between tasks and technology, instead the political outcome among user socializations. We have the following two research inquires: Are the IS use and performance maximized when information technologies are provided properly?; and, Does TTF always influence positively on IS use (or performance)? To research these issues, we investigate the influence of TTF (Task-Technology Fit) on use and performance of GSS, which is introduced to foster collaboration among organizational members. Drawing insights from the AST, we examine if COA (Consensus on Appropriation) among group members and FOA (Faithfulness of Appropriation) between those who use technology and who design it show any moderating effect. A questionnaire survey was conducted on firms using the GSS for one month from June 2 to June 27 2005 and a sample of 303 responses was used for a statistical analysis. The result demonstrates that TTF exerts a positive influence on use and performance of GSS. We find that the stronger the COA, the greater the effect of W on use of GSS and performance. FOA likewise has a positive effect on both use of GSS and performance. The TTF model has been widely applied to studies on individual performance of information system, whereas the AST theory specifically explains members' adaptation process to information system. By integrating the AST theory with the TTF model, the study contributes to heightening our understanding on if and how individual performance varies with the use of GSS.

본 연구에서는 조직 구성원의 협업을 위하여 도입되는 그룹지원시스템(group support system; GSS)를 대상으로 GSS의 사용에 미치는 영향과 GSS의 사용으로 인한 개인의 성과의 관계에 대한 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구를 위해 개인의 기술수용 요인에 대한 연구에서 보편적으로 널리 사용되어 온 기술수용모델(technology acceptance model; TAM)과 사용자의 과업과의 연관성을 고려한 과학기술적합(task-technology fit; TTF) 개념, 그리고 적응구조화이론(adaptive structuration theory; AST)을 통합하여 그룹 구성원들이 GSS의 도입의도에 맞게 사용하는 것이 개인과 조직의 성과를 향상시키는지 검증하였다. 연구결과, 높은 TTF는 사용자들이 GSS에 대하여 지각하는 유용성과 용이성에 영향을 미친다는 것을 검증하였다. 또한, TTF가 사용자들의 적절한 사용을 이끌고 있음을 검증하여 TTF 중심의 연구와 AST의 적절한 사용(faithfulness on appropriation; FOA)을 중심으로 하는 두 연구에 대한 통합 모델을 제시하였다.

The number of SMEs taking up information systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning has been growing rapidly, and many of those organizations have stepped into the stage of ongoing use at this point. Thus, research which takes into account idiosyncratic nature of SME environment is more important than before. Through an empirical study using survey method, we tried to examine the importance of end user's feedback seeking behavior in SMEs and how environmental factors affecting such behavior reinforce and interact with the feedback seeking behavior itself. The result shows that end user's active role as a voluntary feedback seeker is important in utilizing information systems in accordance with the initial design intention in ongoing use environment. Furthermore, in order to facilitate such feedback seeking behavior in SME environment, it is essential that management's involvement and communicating to its employees the importance of effectively utilizing the information systems as well as the support of peer IT champ.

The purpose of this study was to examine the spatial and visual arrangement characteristics of Imsil Yi Ung-jae's old house's spatial and visual aspects in order to discover the value of landscape and traditional house garden. The results of this study are as follows. Dongchon-village in Dundeok-ri, where old house is located, is a typical form of with "Back to the mountain and facing the water(背山臨水)", and is located in the north of the three streams of water, forming a Jeonchaghugwan(前窄後寬). Dongchon Village, which has a traditional scenic spot between Danguidae(丹丘臺) and Samgyeseokmun(三溪石門), is understood to be the main street of Nojeokbong Peak and Gyegwanbong Peak, which is Ansan(案山), where the "A centipede flying in the sky(飛天蜈蚣形)". Yi Ung-jae's old house is the oldest existing high-priced house in the North Jeolla region and the closing price of a royal family of the Joseon Dynasty, which was arranged by Chunseongjeong(春城正), Yi Dam-son(李聃孫) in the mid-16C. The Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592 and Japanese colonial era, the loyalty of the gate quarters, the filial piety of the gate quarters, and the faithfulness of the tablet(扁額) and Juryeons(柱聯) are enough to contribute to the rise of the value of a physical house. The men's quarters(Sarangchae), which are placed on a high-pocket or a layout without going against the sloping terrain, have the effect of making the distance as far as possible, enhancing its dignity and hierarchy as a royal building. In addition, the entrance to the main quarters(Anchae) through the four pillar gates(四柱門), the extensive support and the appropriation of the Chaewon(vegetable garden), and the official base for the Anchae are very unique compared to the general nobility. However, in the context of the postwar relationship, the shrine seeks to realize Confucian ideals while harmonizing with nature by arranging wide sponsorships around it. On the other hand, it is confirmed that there was a pond in the form of a circle in a square(方池圓島型) with a relatively large area, which is now disturbed and damaged. Written by the high priced planting species are sponsored pine trees, hackberry, persimmon trees, Japanese apricot flower, Ohmomiji, and plum tree in the side garden, as well as cotyledon trees in the outside garden. However, although flower bed(花階), which is built on the stone axis, is a place that clearly shows the expensive garden, it seems to have lost the texture of the plant due to the extremely high variety of species and the splendor that does not match the plant landscape of the flower world. Yi Ung-jae's old house is highly valuable as it is a portrait house of a prince of the blood in the mid-Joseon Dynasty. Based on these findings, this study proposed a plan to improve the management of high prices that could be met.
