Gardenia jasminoides (G. jasminoides) is traditionally used to treat insomnia, jaundice, emotional disorders, hepatic disease, and inflammatory disease. Previously, we found that geniposide and the water extract of G. jasminoides increased $Cl^-$ influx in neuroblastoma. Here we examined the sychopharmacological activities of G. jasminoides and its constituents. G. jasminoides extract was orally administered at 100 and 200 mg/kg, and genipin and geniposide were intraperitoneally injected at 2, 10, and 20 mg/kg. G. jasminoides extract (200 mg/kg) significantly decreased total open field activity but increased rearing activity in the center of the open field, suggesting an increase in exploratory activity. Genipin and geniposide did not change open field activity, but geniposide (20 mg/kg) increased rearing activity in the central area. The extract (200 mg/kg) significantly decreased rotarod and wire-balancing activity, but genipin and geniposide did not. No compounds influenced thiopental-induced sleeping or electroshock-induced seizures. The extract (200 mg/kg) significantly increased staying time in the open arms of the elevated plus maze and the entry ratio into the open arms, and geniposide (20 mg/kg) also increased open arm entry. Electroshock stress decreased open arm activity, but the extract and geniposide (20 mg/kg) significantly reversed that effect. This results indicate that G. jasminoides extract and geniposide alleviated anxiety with greater efficacy in stressed animals than normal animals.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the barriers to promoting physical activity among obese children from low-income families using community child care (CCC) centers. Methods: This study employed an exploratory-descriptive qualitative research using focus group interviews. The participants were recruited from CCC centers, and 4 focus group interviews were conducted with 10 overweight and obese children and 14 primary caregivers. All interviews were recorded and transcribed verbatim. The data were analyzed using content analysis. Results: The barriers to promoting physical activity were classified into three areas: 1) individual, a lack of will for physical activity; 2) interpersonal, a change in communicative mean with the peer group, absence of parental monitoring due to work-family balance, and an absence of consistent rules; and 3) organizational, lack of physical activity programs and human resources, and confined space for physical activity. Conclusion: The physical activity of children in low-income families is influenced by a range of ecological barriers. These findings can be used to develop tailored intervention to prevent and manage childhood obesity in low-income children.
The purpose of this study is to investigate learner-learner dialogue during speaking tasks. In the Korean language classroom, conversation between learners is an important activity as speaking practice. However, learner dialogue is also a tool to enable learners to collaboratively conduct various cognitive activities in the classroom. In previous research, it was unfolded that through learner-learner dialogue, learners can solve second-language related problems and set a goal to carry out tasks. Therefore, this study analyzed learner-learner dialogue to investigate what kinds of cognitive activities are activated during the role-play task. As a result, the learners collaboratively generated and monitored language and content for role play. Also, in order to accomplish tasks more successfully, learners shared the same understanding about the goal of the task, and tried to manage the task procedure. Through learner-learner dialogue, learners can participate in cognitive activities such as content, language construction, and task management voluntarily without the help from teachers. This means that learner-learner dialogue can be an activity to support language learning tasks. Also, it can make learners actively involved in learning and by sharing resources with each other. It is also important that learners can experience language use that participates in real-world communication activities, such as learning in the classroom and collaborating with peer learners. This study is an exploratory study for a basic understanding of learner's conversation as a cognitive activity, and the scope of the study is limited to clarifying contents of learner-learner dialogue as a cognitive activity in speaking tasks. Based on the findings of this study, future research should be conducted on the function of learner-learner dialogue as a cognitive activity in Korean language learning and its role in the classroom of Korean language education.

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate factors and variables which have significant effects on user's satisfaction with recreational activities in Daeshin Natural Park, thereby establishing directions of development of urban parks. To test the causal models of this research, the data were gathered by self-administered questionnaires form 627 households in Pusan City which were selected by the multi-stage probability sampling method. The analysis of the data primarily consists of two-phase: The first analysis dealt exploratory factor analysis which identified major factors involved in satisfaction with recreational activities in Daeshin Natural Park and the second analysis tested the fit of the causal models of this research by employing LISREL methodology. The factor analysis identified that three factors are involved in satisfaction with recreational actitives. The three factors of satisfaction with recreational activities are facilities for health and phisical exercise, group recreational activity, maintenance activity. The second phase analysis tested the fit of the causal models for satisfaction with recreational activity to the data and identified statistically significant causal linkage among overall satisfaction with Daeshin Natural Park, other endogenous factors and exogenous variables.

Data ware analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression with SPSS 18.0 ver. program. The results were as following. It was found that sub-factors of perceived health status such as a health care factor, current health factor and future health factor significantly affected resilience of life.
This study, based on theoretical and practical understanding of franchising, aims to conceptualize franchising in terms of marketing mix and proposes new paradigm of franchising. New schema of the franchise marketing mix involves both customer gap and franchisee gap by including customer and franchisee contacts and sets activities that include components of franchise system as the factor of marketing mix. So we could suggest the franchise marketing mix, '4F' by introducing conventional marketing mix concept into this assumption. The 4F schema consist of four sub-dimensions: 'Format', 'Fee & Royalty', 'Franchising Process', and 'Franchise Communication', which correspond to '4P'. In perspective of marketing mix, we could divide the franchise system into primary activity and support activity, then we also could categorize the fundamental activity into four-classification system, 4F schema. We expect that franchise marketing mix, 4F can be useful both theoretically and practically as it not only is not too different from the conventional marketing mix, but it also proposes franchise value chain by including unique characteristics and contents of the franchise system.
The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of physical activity on relieving job burnout among teachers in Korea. To examine this impact, 527 Korean teachers were used in the data analysis. An exploratory factor analysis and internal consistency analysis were employed to verify the validity and reliability of the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI-ES), and a t-test and one-way ANOVA were conducted to find the mean differences according to gender, school level, and length of teaching experience. The impact between factors was also verified through correlation and regression analyses. The results of the analyses showed that first, female teachers and teachers with less teaching experience had higher degree of burnout and fewer physical activities compared to male teachers and teachers with longer teaching experience, respectively. Second, teachers' level of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) was negatively correlated with burnout factors. Third, teachers' vigorous physical activity negatively affected depersonalization factors while teachers' sedentary activity positively affected depersonalization factors.
The purpose of this study was to examine relationship among life meaning, optimism and happiness in elderly women participants of physical activity. Data are from elderly women in more than 60 years old who participate in sports activity as part of leisure activity while actually living in Seoul of South Korea. Total of 211, Sample are allowed to be responded to questionnaire contents with self-administration method by utilizing convenience sampling method out of non-probability sampling. To process the data, this study conducted exploratory/confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis and structure model analysis with SPSS 11.5 and AMOS 6.0 programs. The presence of meaning, which forms meaning of life, are indicated to have statistically significant positive influence upon optimism. And optimism are indicated to have statistically significant positive influence upon positive emotion, which forms happiness. optimism in elderly adults of participating in physical activity has negative influence upon negative emotion.

Background: This study aimed to develop and assess the psychometric features of the Physical Activity at Workplace Questionnaire (PAWPQ) based on the Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) to evaluate employees' physical activity (PA) behaviors at the workplace. Methods: This psychometric cross-sectional study was conducted on 455 employees working in one of the gas refineries in Iran. The participants were selected using the proportional stratified sampling method in 2019. The data collection tools were a demographic information questionnaire, the short form of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), and a questionnaire developed based on the SCT, whose psychometric features were confirmed in terms of validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using SPSS22 and AMOS20 software. Results: The first version of PAWPQ-SCT had 74 items. After evaluating content and face validity, nine items were removed. The results of the content validity index (0.98), content validity ratio (0.86), and impact score (3.62) were acceptable for the whole instrument. In exploratory factor analysis, after removing seven items-58-item final version of the scale-six factors could explain 73.54% of the total variance. The results of structural equation modeling showed the acceptable fit of the model into the data (RMSEA = 0.052, CFI = 0.917, NFI = 0.878, TLI = 0.905, IFI = 0.917, CMIN/DF = 2.818). Cronbach's alpha coefficient and Intraclass Correlation were 0.90 and 0.86, respectively. Conclusion: This study confirmed that the psychometric features of the 58-item final version of PAWPQSCT constructs were acceptable in a sample of Iranian employees. This questionnaire can be used as a valid and reliable tool to evaluate Iranian employees' PA behaviors and develop effective educational interventions for workers and managers.
