Development of Web Credibility Evaluation Model Using AHP (AHP를 이용한 웹 사이트 신뢰성 평가 모델 개발)

  • This study tired to develop the web credibility evaluation model by calculating weighted values and sensitivities of indicators which presented on preceding researches using Analytic Hierarchy Process. "Expert Choice 2000" was used as the tool for analysing AHP. 25 experts are answered for this questionnaire who are selected by judgement sampling method, one of the non-probability sampling method. Also, sensitivity analyses was performed to graphically see how the alternatives change with respect to the importance of the indicators or sub-indicators. The main results are summarized as followings; i) importance analysis in first level factors: trust-worthiness(0,606), expertness(0.222), safety(0.173), ii) importance analysis in second level factors: trustfulness (0.519), reputation(0.087), usefulness (0.102), timeliness(0,093), competency(0.027), security(0.115), reliability(0,058). iii) some of the importance analysis in third level factors: the site provides comprehensive information that is attributed to a specific source(0.252), the site has articles that list citations and references(0.153), the site contains user opinions and reviews(0.072), etc. iv) sensitivity analyses showed that the importance of the indicators or sub-indicators are slightly changed with respect to the alternatives change.

  • The classified map of geomorphic surfaces is the most basic data for the geomorphological research. Up to recent days, the traditional methods extracting specific geomorphic surfaces are accomplished by analyzing the aerial photographs and topographical maps, and field works. Also it needs a lot of time and expertness. Furthermore it is difficult to gain the aerial photographs in Korea. Since digital maps in Korean Peninsula are almost completed recently, we tried to extract specific surfaces by analyzing the characteristics of marine terraces based on the level of paleoshoreline and slope analysis on the terrace surface using GIS. However, research used GIS was hardly found up to date, therefore many problems are not be solved yet. The aim of this study is to develop the more efficient and objective method for the extraction and classification of specific geomorphic surfaces by using GIS in Gampo-eup, Gyeongju city, Southeastem Coast in Korea, where a lot of traditional research has already accomplished. For this aim, we have designed the process of extracting specific geomorphic surfaces, chosen the factors that was Gyeongiu city, Southeastem Coast in Korea, where a lot of traditional research has already accomplished. For this aim, we have designed the process of extracting specific geomorphic surfaces, chosen the factors that was suitable for classification of specific geomorphic surface, and presented method of setting up optimum criteria of extraction. As last, effectiveness and problems of these methods were investigated through conincidence rate and error rate.

ACCURACY OF DIGITAL MODEL SURGERY FOR ORTHOGNATHIC SURGERY: A PRECLINICAL EVALUATION (악교정 수술을 위한 디지털 모형 수술의 정확성 평가)

  • The accuracy of model surgery is one of important factors which can influence the outcome of orthognathic surgery. To evaluate the accuracy of digitalized model surgery, we tried the model surgery on a software after transferring the mounted model block into a digital model, and compared the results with that of classical manual model surgery. We could get the following results, which can be used as good baseline analysis for the clinical application. 1. We made the 3D scanning of dental model blocks, and mounted on a software. And we performed the model surgery according to the previously arranged surgical plans, and let the rapid prototyping machine produce the surgical wafer. All through these process, we could confirm that the digital model surgery is feasible without difficulties. 2. The digital model surgery group (Group 2) showed a mean error of $0.0{\sim}0.1mm$ for moving the maxillary model block to the target position. And Group 1, which was done by manual model surgery, presented a mean error of $0.1{\sim}1.2mm$, which is definitely greater than those of Group 2. 3. Remounted maxillary model block with the wafers produced by digital model surgery from Group 2 showed the less mean error (0.2 to 0.4 mm) than that produced by manual model surgery in Group 1 (0.3 to 1.4 mm). From these results, we could confirm that the digital model surgery in Group 2 presented less error than manual model surgery of Group 1. And the model surgery by digital manipulation is expected to have less influence from the individual variation or degree of expertness. So the increased accuracy and enhanced manipulability will serve the digital model surgery as the good candidate for the improvement and replacement of the classical model surgery, if careful preparation works for the clinical adjustment is accompanied.

The Influence of Consumer Need Satisfaction and Star Traits on Consumer Attachment to Star Brand and Consumer Response to Product Brand Sponsored by Star Brand (소비자 욕구충족성과 스타 속성이 스타브랜드 애착과 후원브랜드에 대한 소비자반응에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is based on recent advances in celebrity traits and self-determination researches to address how consumers develop the strong attachment to a "star brand," and the effect of consumer's attachment to star brand on evaluation of product brand sponsored by the star. We use the consumers' need satisfaction and star traits as major causal factors that influence consumer's attachment to a star brand. Specifically this article uses autonomy need, relatedness need, competence need as the dimensions of need satisfaction and expertness, trustworthiness, likeability, and similarity as the key star traits. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of these factors on the consumer's attachment to star brand and how consumer's evaluation of product brand sponsored by star is moderated by the fitness level of between the image of star brand and the image of sponsored product brand. To collect the data, survey was taken in a University located in Incheon. Collected data are analysed using SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0. The results show that when the star brand is perceived as more trustworthy and likeable, and satisfies autonomy need and relatedness need, the consumer is more likely to become strongly attached to him or her. The hypothesis that consumer's attachment to star brand will have the positive influence on the evaluation of product brand sponsored by star is supported. And hypothesis that consumer's attitude to a sponsored product brand is moderated by the fitness level of between the image of star brand and the image of sponsored product brand is also supported. The empirical results imply that star brand to which consumers are attached may have the significant positive impact on the consumers' evaluation process of endorsed product brand and purchase behavior, and that marketers should consider need dimensions which target consumers want to satisfy and the fitness level of between the image of star brand being considered as endorser and the image of product brand.

A qualitative Research on Establishment of Department of Private Investigation and Its Future Direction (민간조사학과 개설의 필요성과 성장방향에 대한 질적 연구)

  • There are various discussions about introducing private investigation in South Korea these days, and training private investigators is one of the main topics. Training private investigators, unlike other training, is required to instill expertise and ethical quality into the trainees since the major task of the investigators includes protecting the lives of the citizens as well as their properties. Therefore, many agree to the idea that systematic educational programs need to be organized to produce private investigators with expertness and morality. In this study, we explored the opinions of those who are concerned with this issue of establishing private investigation in the university education and analyzed the data by using the NVivo 2 program. The result revealed that the reasons that people supported the idea of launching private investigator services were as follows. First, there is lack of manpower to maintain peace and public order in the country. Second, the police does not intervene actively and help harmed victims unless it is a consequential incident. Third, in position to wield public power, police officers cannot get involved in civil affairs. Also, absence of an academic institution to educate private investigators and lack of the police and clients' trust in private investigation were the two biggest reasons that people approved the proposal to introduce department of private investigation in universities. The interviewees of the study believed the outlook and future direction for private investigation would change depending on the status of the licensed private investigation business bill. Before the bill passes, they thought that the work of private investigators will be performed by insurance companies, foreign private investigation businesses, domestic consulting firms, and security providers which supply similar services. On the other hand, after the bill passes, they believed that numerous private investigator corporations resembling existing security corporations will be founded in addition to the current market, and that private investigation in the academic field will also be vitalized.
