  • In this study, heat transfer and Pressure drop characteristics for R-718 in the plate and shell heat exchanger (P&SHE) investigated experimentally. The plates are circular and welded into a stack which fits into a cylindrical shell in P&SHE. Although apparently very different from rectangular the compact brazed plate heat exchanger (CBE), the underlying flow passage structure through the P&SHE is the same as in the CBE. The R-718 between plate side and shell side was performed a counterflow heat exchange. Heat transfer characteristic of R-718 were measured for turbulent flow in P&SHE by using wilson plot technique. Heat transfer experiment Ivas performed in the $200{\leq}Re{\leq}500$ regime and Pressure drop experiment was performed in the $150{\leq}Re{\leq}1600$ regime. 찰진흙개간지의 암반비수에 관한 연구(I) (Studies on Heavy Clay Soil of Tile Drainage)

  • This study was made through the utilization of heavy soil taken from the experimental plot of heavy soil in Konkuk University, Changan-dong, Sungdong-ku, Seoul. The soil used in the experiment has the following physical characteristics: 1. The soil is very compact, impervious, and unfit for any plant growth, 2. For improvement of the soil, tile drainage practice has been employed, 3. According to the general theory of tile drainage, it is unnatural that the effect of drainage is actually observed in such a soil. The followings are the results of the experiment: 1. Water moved to crosswise when the plotted soil profile was not broke. In this case the upper sloped part was dry while the bottom part was moistned. The upper part of the tile was also moistned. 2. The crosswise movement of water was not observed in the artificially broken plot of subsoil. However, the water flow from the tile was observed for long period as a result of the increase of soil void, seepage, aeration, and water holding capacity. However, the water flow from the tile in the plot of unbroken subsoil was observed only in short period and soon the flow was stopped. 3. the distance between the tile laid in the heavy soil should not exceed 10m for the efficient drainage. 4. When the pF is 2.5 in the subsoil the moisture content was between 23.97% and 28.20%. However, when the water saturated in the subsoil the moisture content was between 34.30% and 22.10%. Accordingly without the higher pF than 2.5 the water can not be absorbed and therefore the drainage can not be occured.

  • 웹으로부터 유용한 정보를 얻기 위한 연구는 현재 많이 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 특히 웹 로그 데이터의 희소성에 대한 문제 해결과 이를 통한 웹 사용자의 군집화 방안에 대하여 연구하였다. MCMC 방법의 베이지안 추론에 의한 결측치 대체 기법을 이용하여 웹 데이터의 희소성을 제거하였고, 주성분에 의한 산점도를 통하여 형상지도의 차원을 결정한 자기 조직화지도를 이용하여 웹 사용자의 군집화를 수행하였다. 제안 기법은 기존의 방법들에 비해 모형의 정확도와 빠른 학습 시간을 제공하여 주었다. KDD Cup 데이터를 이용한 실험을 통하여 제안 방법에 대한 문제 해결 절차 및 성능 평가를 객관적으로 확인하였다.

광역친환경 벼 농업 단지 내 관행구와 추천시비구의 시기별 무기성분과 생산성 비교 (Comparison of Seasonal Nutrient Variations and Productivity between Rice Fields Conventionally Managed and Recommended Fertilized in Large-Scale Environment-Friendly Agricultural Districts)

  • 광역친환경 농업단지에서 전라남도 장흥과 순천 그리고 충청북도 옥천의 벼(Oryza sativa L.) 선도 농가를 선정하여 관행구와 추천구를 각각 지정하여 토양과 벼의 시기별 무기성분을 2017년에 비교하였다. 순천농가는 전년도에 헤어리베치를 파종하였던 추천구를 두었고, 옥천은 관행구에 투입된 비료량의 절반을 시용한 추천구를 포함하였다. 전남 장흥농가에서만 축산농가에서 발생한 우분을 비료로 투입하는 경축순환농업을 수행하였다. 모든 시험구의 토양 pH와 EC는 벼 생육에 적합한 수준으로 관찰되었다. 시기별 토양 pH는 순천농가에서 가장 높았으며 토양 EC는 장흥 관행구에서 가장 높았다. 시기별 토양 T-N 함량은 순천 농가에서 3월부터 6월까지 증가하였고. 시기별 토양 유효 P2O5는 장흥농가에서 가장 낮았다. 시기별 토양 치환성 K 함량은 모든 시험구에서 감소하였고 옥천농가에서 가장 낮았다. 시기별 토양 NH4+ 함량은 장흥 관행구에서 6월에 타 시험구보다 90 mg/kg 이상 증가하였다. 시기별 벼의 T-N, P와 치환성 K 함량은 장흥 관행구에서 가장 높았다. 벼의 T-N과 P 함량은 6월부터 9월까지 감소하였고 치환성 K 함량은 2.0~2.5% 수준에서 변동되었다. 시기별 엽록소 함량 지수는 순천 관행구에서 가장 낮았다. 장흥농가의 벼 생산량은 6,303 kg/ha로 옥천 추천구보다 약 두 배 높게 나타났다. 시기별 T-N, P와 K 수지는 옥천 관행구에서 가장 높았고 순천 관행구에서 가장 낮았다. 결과적으로 순천 추천구의 양분수지가 비교적 낮았고 수량이 비교적 높아서 가장 친환경적인 지속가능한 농업을 실천한 농가로 평가되었다.

  • This paper deals with designing the PID autotuner. The system parameters are identified using the relay control, where the unidirectional relay with hysteresis is adopted. The digital PID tuning rule on Nyquist plot is derived, and the statistical wordlength is adopted for the coefficient wordlength. The experimental results of temperature control exhibit the satisfactory performance and the validity of the derived statistical wordlength.

  • The cometaboic biodegradation conditionso f trichloroethylene(TCE) by Burkholderia cepacia G4 were optimized using response surface analysis. The experimental sets of phenol concentration temperature and pH were designed using central composite experimental design. The optimal conditions of phenol concentration temperature and pH were determined to be 0.91 ppm 21.5$^{\circ}C$ and 7.65 respectively by the Ridge analysis of the contour plot for TCE biodegradation rates. The TCE biodegradation rate could be enhanced up to 2.43 nmol.mg protein$.$min by response surface methodology.

보리의 기계수확체계(機械收穫體系) 시험(試驗) (A Study on Mechanized System of Barley Harvesting)

  • Farm population was rapidly decreasing due to shift of the people from farm sector to the non-farm sector caused by the economic growth of the country. Especially, a great shortage of farm labor in busy farming period in June and October is becoming a serious problem in maintaining or promoting land productivity. The peak of labor requirement in summer is caused by rice transplanting and barley harvesting. In order to reduce the restrictions imposed on farm management by the concurrence of labor requirement and the lack of labor, the experimental study for mechanization of barley harvesting has been carried out in the fields. 1. The machines for barley harvesting were knap-sack type reapers, windrow reaper (power tiller attachment), binder and combine. The order of higher efficiency of machine for barley harvesting was combine, binder, windrow reaper (WR), knapsack type reaper 1(KSTR1), and knap sack type reaper 2(KSTR2; mist and duster attachment). 2. The ratio of grain loss for the manual, binder, and combine plot was about four percent of total field yield. 3. The total yield of barley in 35 days and 40 days harvesting after heading were 514 kg and 507kg per 10 ares respectively. The yield of 35 days-plot was higher than other experimental plots. 4. The lowest yield was recorded in 30 days-plot due to the large quantity of immatured grains and having lighter 1000-grain weight. The ratio of immatured grains was 2.66 percent and 1000-grain weight was 29.4 grams. 5. The total harvesting cost of the windrow reaper was 10,178 won per 10 ares. It was the lowest value compared to other machines. The next were combine, binder, KSTR1, KSTR2, and manual in sequence. As a result, the optimum time of barley harvesting for mechanization was 35-40 days after heading. Combine, binder, and windrow reaper were recommended as the suitable machines for barley harvesting in the work efficiency. However, in total harvesting cost, the windrow reaper was the most promising machine for barley harvesting.

가속 드라이아이스 snow impact에 의한 도막 제거속도의 측정 (Measurement of Coating Removal Rate of Accelerated Dry Ice Snow Impact)

  • 드라이아이스 스노우 젯(dry ice snow jet)을 액체 이산화탄소의 고압팽창에 의해 만들고 운반기체에 의해 더욱 가속시킬 수 있었다. 코팅의 제거기구는 표면 오염입자의 그것과 크게 다르지 않았다. 코팅의 제거를 Hutchings 식으로 정량적으로 표현할 수 있었다. 이들 식에 의한 plot에서 얻은 두개의 매개변수로 코팅의 제거 속도와 단위 이산화탄소의 질량에 의해 제거된 비 코팅면적을 예측할 수 있었으며 아울러 실험데이터의 신뢰도와 실험 에러의 보정도 가능하게 되었다. 노즐 기판 거리와 노즐길이를 바꾸었을 때 얻어진 이들 plot이 한점에서 만날 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며 이점이 jet plume을 모음에서 얻어진 scar 반경의 증대효과와 jet를 확산시킴에서 얻어진 scar 반경 증대효과가 균형을 맞추는 데서 얻어진 것으로 판단된다.

생태복원용 식물매트 개발에 관한 기초연구 (A Basic Study on the Development of the Plant-Mat for Ecological Restoration)

  • This study was conducted to develop the plant-mat for ecological restoration which was formed as the thin multi-layers of woven nets, soil media, seeds, etc. The experimental site was selected at a slope of 240$m^2$ at the rear of Design College of Sangmyung University and divided into 8 sub-experimental plots (20$m^2$ each) according to mat types. (forest-type and grass-type mats with and without seed attachment, respectively) Also, the existing vegetation plot and the no-treatment plot were included in this experiment for comparison. The experiment construction was conducted on September 3, 2002. Mat covered plots regardless of seed attachment showed nearly no signs of erosion even if rainy season in summer compared to the no-treatment plot. Vegetation monitoring result showed that germination rates were somewhat high in both forest and grass-type mats without seed attachment in the initial germination stage. Although germination rates of seed attached mats were somewhat slower than non-seed attached mats in the germination stage, but over time, it showed a good rooting and shooting environment for germinated tree and grass species because of soil media existence within the mat. This indicates that while non seed-attached mats require follow-up maintenance, seed-attached mats does not require maintenance after rooting and germination.
