수강하는 학생 개개인이 응답한 여러 개의 파일을 한 파일에 모은 다음 이 자료를 가지고 난수생성, 표본추출 과정과 방법, 모수와 통계량을 비교하는 프로그램을 엑셀 매크로로 작성하였다. 모집단에서 일부분의 표본을 추출하여 모수와 통계량의 차이를 비교하는 등 자료의 생성, 분석, 결과의 해석을 빠른 시간내에 해결하여 학생들이 흥미를 가지고 수업에 참여하도록 유도한다. 엑셀에서는 난수발생시 중복된 값이 발생하는데 본 연구에서는 비주얼베이직 매크로로 비복원추출 프로그램을 작성하여 활용한다.

The purpose of this thesis is to develop a performance rating training tool for the time and motion study. It is widely recognized that rating training tools based on films were made several decades ago and introduced to Korea. However, to the best of our knowledge, those films are not used for rating training in Korea any more. Furthermore, although rating is still important method for the efficient operational management study, it is briefly mentioned without any training or exercise. In this paper, we propose a simple rating training tool based on Excel with VBA. The mottoes of our development are the ease of acquisition and trainees' motivation. Test results show that trainees can obtain the concept of rating and the ability of accurate and consistent rating as they play a computer game sitting in front of the personal computer.

A spreadsheet is a office automation software which has been widely used in almost all areas in business. A spreadsheet is used for calculation, data analysis, model building and so on. As a result, spreadsheet is a very important tool for generating knowlege in a firm. Errors in a spreadsheet model can cause a serious financial damage in a corporation. However in Korea few researches for reducing errors have been performed. Neither serious efforts to reduce errors have been executed by corporations. In this research we provided summarized the results from a survey for spreadsheet usage, summarized researches on errors in spreadsheet up to now, and suggested a rules and structured development method for reducing errors in a spreadsheet. Errors in spreadsheets are prevalent. To solve this serious problem, we need much more attention on this problem in research area. Corporations must put more efforts on setting policies and rules. And also we need the government's concern and support.

In this paper we compare several statistical packages and propose basic requirements of the package for the efficient education of statistics. We develop a statistical software, KESS, based on Excel. KESS provides all the input menus and output results in Korean.

간선도로의 유입부 설계에는 도로 표면에 떨어진 강우만을 고려하여 빗물받이 간격, 형태 등을 결정하고 있으나, 현실적으로는 간선도로와 연결된 급경사 국지도로에서 횡방향 빗물받이 유입부로 유입되지 않는 유량이 간선도로의 침수를 가중시키고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 점들을 고려할 때, 침수피해에 의한 시민들의 재산을 보호하고, 불편을 덜어주기 위해 급경사 국지도로의 합리적인 배수시설이 필요하다. 그러므로 국지도로 조건에 따른 횡유입부의 설치간격, 적정크기 및 관리 방안을 마련하여 빗물 배제 능력을 향상시킴으로써 도시 홍수피해의 경감대책을 수립하여야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 합리식을 이용하여 우수유출량을 계산하고, 횡유입부의 차집효율 실험을 통하여 산정된 국지도로의 단위 폭(1m)당 차집유량을 이용하여 횡유입부의 설계 방법을 제시하였으며, Excel을 이용하여 간략하게 프로그램화 하였다. 제시된 설계방법은 실무에서 국지도로 경사의 변화를 고려한 횡방향부의 설계에 사용가능하리라 판단된다.

통계에 대한 사회적 관심이 점차 높아져 통계학 교육의 중요성이 대두되고 있지만 대학에서의 통계학 교육은 수리적인 면에 치우쳐 있어 학생들의 관심이 저하되는 것이 사실이다. 흥미로운 학습이 가장 효율적이라는 가정하에 통계학습의 흥미 유발과 이해능력 향상을 위해서는 학습자들이 적극적으로 활용할 수 있는 통계교육도구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 통계교육도구 (PETS)는 엑셀 매크로를 사용하여 개발한 것으로, 결과만 보여주는 것이 아니라 중간과정과 설명들을 함께 나타내어 학습자 스스로 효율적인 통계학습을 할 수 있게 만들었다.

The nursing informatics has been booming in Taiwan since 2003 when we started to use the end user computing strategy to promote it. We used Excel 2003, which was well known and used by our clinical nurses, as well as the embedded VBA to teach them how simple information applications could and should be built to meet their information management needs in order to support their professional responsibility. Many cost-effective projects were successfully done and the importance and potentials of nursing informatics started to be noticed. Our training strategy and materials are introduced in this paper.

In this study, an innovative computer support has been suggested to improve differential perception of the students. Research has been conducted on a calculus class which has 35 students. A semi-structured interview has been reported in the study. By this interview, it was tried to make differential concept more understandable by using Micro Soft Excel component of the well-known MS Office software. By this aim, students have been asked to integrate a simple function by using MS Excel. At the end of the study, it was observed that differential concept made more sense in students' minds than previous.

Recursive thinking is iterative, self-referential, and building on itself continuously. Moreover, it is becoming a more prominent feature of the mathematical scope because of the availability of computers and languages like Logo, Excel, and Pascal that support recursion. This study investigates the way to create students' recursive thinking in mathematics classroom and to use various methods to solve problems using a spreadsheet, the Excel program where technology could be accessible.

본 논문에서는 컴퓨터로 정밀 계측기기들을 자동 제어하고 데이터를 측정하기 위하여 기존의 상용 프로그램을 사용하지 않고 Excel VBA(Visual Basic for Applications)를 이용하는 방법에 대하여 연구하였다. 이는 반복측정 및 통계적 수치계산 등에서 많은 장점을 지니고 있어 수많은 국가교정기관 및 일반 산업체에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있으리라 사료된다.
