Currently dental laser is used at a variety of dental treatment and many favorable clinical case reports are presented. We performed this study for the presentation of the validity of dental laser which are available and supportable in the oral and maxillofacial surgery. From October, 1998 to March, 1999, dental laser was used in 70 cases. Male patients were 38, female 32. The age ranged from 5 to 77, with a mean of 45.4. Indicated cases were 18 chronic periodontitis, 11 infections, 6 atypical pain, malignant or benign tumor, precancerous lesion, abnormal frenum, TMJ disorder, mucocele, and so forth. $CO_2$ laser(Sharplan 15F, Sharplan Co.) was used in 40 cases, Ho-YAG laser(Duopulse 2000, Excel Co.) 11, Nd-YAG(Duopulse 2000, Excel Co.) 18. We present and discuss about the objectiveness, availability, and future application of laser with case reports.

도로 조건에 따른 빗물받이 유입구의 설치간격, 적정크기 및 관리 방안을 마련하여야 하며, 빗물받이 설계 시, 빗물받이 유입구의 통수능력을 저하시키는 빗물받이 유입구의 막힘 현상을 고려한 빗물받이 유입구의 합리적인 설계와 관리 방안을 마련하여 빗물 배제 능력을 향상시킴으로써 도시 홍수피해의 경감대책을 수립하여야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 합리식을 이용하여 우수유출량을 계산하고, 빗물받이 차집효율 실험을 통하여 산정된 빗물받이 규격별 차집유입량 경험식을 이용하여 빗물받이의 차집유입량을 산정하였다. 막힘 현상을 고려한 빗물받이 유입구의 찻집효율 분석 실험을 실시하여 제시되어진 막힘 계수를 이용하여 빗물받이 유입구의 막힘 현상을 고려한 도로의 격자형 빗물받이 유입구의 설계 방법을 제시하였으며, Excel을 이용하여 간략하게 프로그램화 하였다. 제시된 설계방법은 실무에서 도로 조건의 변화와 빗물받이의 막힘 현상을 고려한 빗물받이 유입부의 설계에 사용 가능하다고 판단된다.

The aim of this study was to investigate the users' behaviour when interacting with elements based on XML documents retrieval system and develop approaches for XML retrieval which are effective in user-based environment. We followed the experimental guidelines from the INEX 2006 iTrack organizers. For the research goals, 16 responses from the questionnaires per subject and system logs were collected and analyzed using Excel and SPSS 17.0.

가열살균 처리시의 온도값을 이용하여 다양한 미생물들의 가열살균 효과를 D값, z값 등의 미생물 내열성 특성치와 kinetic 모델 및 수식을 이용하여 살균치 계산을 컴퓨터를 이용하여 수행함으로써 target 미생물의 살균정도를 예측하고자, Excel과 Visual Basic을 연동하여 작성된 시스템으로 Excel을 기본으로 사용한 프로그램을 개발하였다. 가열살균 target 미생물을 선택하고자 야채식품을 기반으로 하는 식품에서의 미생물을 검토하여, 내열성인 가장 큰 호기성 포자형성균인 Bacillus spp. 계통이 산을 형성하여 맛 등의 품질을 저하시켜 변패를 유발하며, 위생적인 면에서 포자수를 줄이거나 사멸할 필요가 있어서 선택하였다. 병원성 균 중에서 D121.1이 0.0065분, z값이 7.8$^{\circ}C$인 Bacillus cereus와 부패현상 관련 균 중에서 D121.1이 0.5분, z값이 12$^{\circ}C$인 Bacillus subtilis를 대상으로 해서 개발되었으며, 필요시에는 D값과 z값을 직접 대입하므로서, 여러 가지 미생물에 대해서도 적용이 가능하게 하였다.

As a result, accounting is becoming increasingly dependent upon computers to facilitate the interaction of measurement analysis, and reporting that is so essential in business today. Enhancements in technology-in particular, the development of computer technology-have dramatically altered the practice of accounting. This study represents a new approach in technology-based education and contains how to use Microsoft Excel 97 In preparing general ledger.

Objective: This study aims to suggest different approaches in analyzing risks associated with musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS) for risk assessment. Background: Upon concluding that the changes in the industrial environments have made it hard to regulate diverse risk factors, the government has implemented a policy for risk assessment. Method: This study has proposed a method, creating programs using Excel that perform qualitative or quantitative analysis, for evaluating risk factors in risk assessments and has applied this in manufacture and service industries. Results: To verify the validity of the developed program, risk assessment has been performed on restaurant chefs as an example. For quantitative evaluation, the study has suggested approaches using the results for REBA evaluation and the analysis report on the work scenes of a fitting-shop in a shipbuilding industry. Application: Constructing and adapting a system using Excel in evaluating risk factors for risk assessments as this study suggests, is expected to contribute to revitalizing risk assessments.

In this paper, we present a practical and essential method of using team projects for calculus. We, specifically, take into account the team project that calculate the volume of lung represented on CT scan images. We have demonstrated that the process of analyzing the images in a team project encourage studying numerical methods of integration for calculus. Also, we have used various technological programs(MATLAB, MATHEMATICA, MS Excel) to solve the team project.

This study is to find the properties of Diffy activity and to investigate the problems and conjectures which could be posed in the Diffy activity. The Diffy is a simple subtracting activity. But, 1 think it is a field where the mathematical thinking can take place. I proposed some problems and conjectures which can be posed. I solved the problems using excel and the software I developed and proposed the related data. I think such problems and the data will be the good materials for elementary students and gifted to think mathematically with.

This paper presents a case study regarding a simple accounting information analysis method through the practical design using spreadsheet tool-Excel, which can offer to the management with more useful and practical information for the management decision-making. In this study, spreadsheet program is used to constitute case of the accounting information analysis method. Spreadsheet tool-Excel is easy to analyze the accounting information. And it can constitute a necessary program through function menu. In conclusion, the spreadsheet program should be used for quantitative analysis and evaluation on the accounting information. And it should be used to perform management activities. The results of this study may be summarized as follows: First, it is possible to constitute useful and practical case in the accounting information analysis method with spreadsheet program. Second, this study proposes directions for the accounting information analysis method with spreadsheet program.
